Alyssa is AMAZING!!! She did our engagement shoot and wedding photos. We recently worked with her for our family photos! She truly is super talented. Her vision is unique. She ada...
pted to the scenes of where we shot, but still able to be true to her craft. I cannot say amazing things about her. She left me with beautiful pieces of art. We've recommended her to friends and they love her too :)
She went above and beyond for us! We had to cancel our original Ohio wedding but instead did a surprise elopement, and she was able to accommodate our intimate beach celebration. S...
he made herself available in case of a rain delay, and was so so awesome and fun. The pictures turned out BEYOND beautiful, and we are so grateful to have found her! She is amazing and highly recommend.
Alyssa is an amazing wedding photographer! She knew just how to pose us for the most flattering angles and she captured so many beautiful moments from the day. The planning phase w...
as smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!
Alyssa did our engagement photos and Central Park and she also did our wedding photos. She is a creative genius, who truly captures the moment and its raw feelings and emotions. Sh...
e worked with us at every stage, from planning our engagement shoot in Central Park (i.e. providing feedback on outfits, lighting, time of day, etc.) to the day of the wedding (i.e. shot list, logistics, "ideal" photos, help with photo locations and vibes), and everything in between. She is organized, professional, and really fun to work with. So helpful, insightful and knowledgeable. She makes the process fun and easy; like you can be in your natural state of being, and she will capture the beauty and essence of that moment. Some of the best shots we got were candid (the formal ones were incredible, as well), and I can't wait to print them and have them, forever.
It was so much fun working with her and we are still in disbelief that we received our wedding photos, less than a month after our wedding! My husband and I are SO thrilled and SO excited about all of the amazing shots that we have from the wedding. The only dilemma we have is which ones to choose! I would highly recommend Alyssa for anything, whether it’s for a wedding or another type of special event. We definitely hope to work with her again, in the future! She’s amazing! We miss her, already! Thanks, Alyssa! You rock!
I cannot recommend Alyssa enough. Not only is she wonderful to work with, but her photographs are beyond perfect. I couldn't be happier with how our wedding pictures turned out. Se...
riously, if you need a wedding photographer, look no further.
Alyssa was suggested to us by a very close friend who is in the wedding business (florist). After looking through a few of her wedding albums she had done, I had a very good feelin...
g about her. Emotions just come through her photos in a way that I haven't seen with many other photographers.
Upon meeting her in person (she helped my very clueless about fashion self pick out what outfit to wear), she was everything that others have said.. Calm, collected, goofy, and what an eye!! We just walked around our neighborhood and down alleys I've walked down hundreds of times, but somehow she saw them in a new light, and we fell in love with our engagement photos!! This helped us feel completely at ease with her on our actual wedding day.
We received the pictures from her about a week ago, and we still can't stop looking at them. Wonderful mix of black & white (husband is a huge fan of b&w photography). Our favorite thing about her photos are that they are not posed or overly edited. They truly captured the feelings and emotions of the day, and dozens of our friends/family who have seen the photos all say the same thing, "you can just see how happy you guys are, your photographer really captured that!". In conclusion, thank you thank you thank you thank you Alyssa!
Alyssa was absolute perfection from start to finish - professional, chill, goofy, sincere, go-with-the-flow but with a vision.
We already were raving about our positive experience...
before we even got the pictures (Alyssa is a gem, just personality-wise, to have with you on your wedding day!!). BUT THEN we got the pics themselves! Honestly, we couldn't be more pleased. The variety of shots, thoughtfulness in editing, and the beautiful, cohesive suite as a whole captured our day magnificently.
So many friends & family members have already commented on the genuine and easy joy captured in our pics - we have Alyssa to thank for that! I can't recommend highly enough.
We loved Alyssa immediately! She has such a great personality and won us over from our first meeting with her. She was able to meet and talk via phone in the evenings which was ext...
remely convenient, and she was quick to respond to emails. And her photographs!!! OMG. She works alone and pretty much everyone said they never saw her the whole night. No annoying entourage to deal with. Despite being solo, she got shots that were spectacular and in my opinion better than ones from friends' weddings with 3-4 people on staff. She was so great making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and gave us great directions without instructing us too much. So, she made sure we were in flattering poses and lighting, and yet wasn't making us do anything that wasn't "us." You get to keep all of the digital files, which is amazing. Actually, I have one negative thing to say about her: there are too many insanely awesome photos that it has caused me anxiety just picking out ones to add to a photobook and make into a canvas. Ha! I'll have to print and add them all!
Alyssa was so amazing to work with! We were introduced to her by a mutual friend. Once you book with her you get access to a client page on her website where you can make payments,...
and update wedding info with ease! Because we were planning a destination wedding we didn't meet Alyssa until the big day, but we all immediately felt so comfortable with her! She was so fun and energetic! She captured our wedding in such a unique and artistic way! She captured the whole vibe and energy of the venue perfectly! Our family is extremely impressed with our photos! I highly suggest Alyssa!
Alyssa, you are so calm, cool, and collected. Everyone commented how great you were the entire day. You just came in like a mouse and did your thang... and were just so awesome. I ...
absolutely love your photography and everyone who has seen some of my pictures thinks that they should be in a catalog. You are crazy if you do not go with Alyssa for your photographer. I just hope she is available for your day... you will have wedding pictures unlike anyone else!!!
My husband (then fiance) and I just fell in love with Alyssa's work when she photographed a friend's wedding before we got engaged. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's c...
harming and funny too. We hired her to do our engagement shoot first. We had our favorite location in mind (Kelly Drive/Falls Bridge area) where she had never shot before, but she surely delivered! Our pictures were gorgeous and she totally helped us ease into being comfortable having our pictures taken in public like that. We just had our wedding three weeks ago and she has already delivered on sending us several teasers in anticipation of what's to come. The pictures are luminous and have a romantic tone to them (nothing like traditional wedding portrtaits), and that is exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We can't wait to see the rest! Alyssa does not disappoint!
We absolutely loved Alyssa. Not only was she extremely professional, but she was so fun and easy going. She took beautiful photos and was a joy to have help us on our special day. ...
I highly recommend her to anyone getting married.
Alyssa somehow was able to my my husband and I comfortable in front of the camera. She was great to work with and for most of the night I didn't even know she was there - as we wa...
nted more candid pictures.
My husband and I LOVED Alyssa. She was very laid back and easy to work with-- she let us fill out forms on our own time, and never bothered us about unnecessary details, like other...
vendors did. I was planning a wedding across states, so didn't have time to check in with each and every vendor multiple times before the wedding. But when we did contact Alyssa, she was very responsive, professional, and flexible. And she wasn't phony, which we really appreciated.
I wasn't looking forward to taking pictures because I thought that it would be awkward, but Alyssa was so laid-back that we actually had tons of fun during the pictures and everything felt really natural! I loved how professional Alyssa was and how knowledgeable about photography-- even when things went wrong (like the church deciding minutes before the ceremony that we couldn't use flash), Alyssa just went with the flow.
And best of all- the pictures are AMAZING!!! GORGEOUS!! I am so glad that we decided the go with Alyssa, my husband and I agree that it was one of the best decisions that we made. Definitely worth the money.
Alyssa is an amazing photographer! She puts her artistic touch into every photo. She captures everything and doesn't miss a thing without seeming in the way or being intrusive.
I haven't seen all of the photos yet, just 2. But from what I can tell, she is unbelievable. She was a dream to work with the wedding day... more of a photo-journalist style. After...
the gets the neceassary shots, she doesnt force you to pose over and over. Everyone in the wedding loved her too. I will use her for anything I can!
Alyssa was simply amazing. My husband and I are not the most patient people when it comes to getting our picture taken, but Alyssa made us feel calm, comfortable, and we had so mu...
ch fun! Alyssa has an energy and spunk that is contagious, yet she never interfered or drew attention to herself during the day's festivities. She was able to capture some very special moments- intensifying the memories we already have. She is a master with outdoor light and textures and has an artist's eye. The occasional odd angle or blurred foreground made for some unique and captivating images. She usually likes to meet with a couple at their site once before the big day to pick out certain spots and shots. But, because she was driving to Maryland for us, we only had her the one day. This had no impact on her work. My only criticism was that some reception photos (held in an all-white tent with paper lanterns and guest table spot lights) were washed out...almost like her flash was too strong. I feel she also did a better job capturing the guests as "couples" than as "groups" at their tables. In retrospect, I would have requested she take couples shots only instead of table shots.
We absolutely love the outcome of our wedding photos. The photos have a unique artistic element combined with classic, elegant images. We love how Alyssa captured the eclectic ve...
nue, colors, and excitement of the day! Alyssa was so much fun and relaxed! Her flexible personality made the day so easy. We have received countless numbers of compliments on our photo album!
Alyssa was amazing! She was very professional and returned our pictures in a timely fashion. Definitely worth the money!
