step of the way, and her dedication and expertise made our wedding absolutely perfect.
Melanie's support started well before the big day. She tirelessly guided us through the planning process, offering invaluable advice and recommendations that ensured everything fell into place. Her attention to detail was astonishing, and her ability to organize and manage all the moving parts of a wedding was nothing short of exceptional.
On the day of our wedding, Melanie's extraordinary skills shone brightly. She was the true definition of a wedding superhero. Not only did she oversee the entire day flawlessly, but she also went above and beyond our expectations. She personally drove to our rental home to pick up decorations, relieving us of any last-minute stress. It was astonishing how she managed to make sure all the vendors were present and ready, coordinating everything with precision.
The moment we walked into the venue, it was like stepping into a dream. Melanie had singlehandedly transformed the space, decorating it with elegance and charm. She even took the extra step to ensure the flowers were perfectly set up, adding a touch of natural beauty that left our guests in awe.
Throughout the ceremony and reception, Melanie worked her magic seamlessly. She made sure everything flowed effortlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of our special day. But what truly stood out was her thoughtfulness. She provided us with a bag of goodies, and she even had a cake knife and ring bearer pillow on hand when we needed them most. I must mention that my wedding dress's bustle broke, and Melanie was quick to the rescue, saving the day with her expertise.
In summary, Melanie from Always a Bridesmaid is not just a wedding coordinator; she is a wedding angel. Her dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to creating the perfect day for us made all the difference. We can't thank her enough for making our wedding a flawless and unforgettable event. If you're looking for someone to turn your wedding dreams into reality, Melanie is the one you need. Thank you, Melanie, for making our day absolutely fabulous!

TLDR: hire Melanie - it will be the best and easiest wedding decision you make.

out me - I am a stressed out, controlling, type a, perfectionist. I planned the entire wedding by myself because I knew that trusting someone to help me plan was going to be a disaster. Melanie was the best day-of-coordinator this girl (and any girl) could ever dream of.
Melanie was there for me leading up to the big day. She was a thought partner, a suggested, a listener, and a problem solver. She got to know me and reassured me that she would be there for everything. She helped me create a timeline which was a big stressor for me. She coordinated with all the vendors so that in the weeks leading up, they were only working with her and I was free to stress about something else. Melanie led a rehearsal in my home amidst a storm and even helped my parents and in-laws secretly rehearse their speeches.
Now to the big day - always available, somehow everywhere, consistently smiling, and holding a Melanie Poppins bag that even included a sewing machine.
Melanie gracefully and joyfully handled the following curfuffles: seeing a torn bridesmaids dress, gluing the lace of my dress to me, somehow getting a stain off my dress moments before walking down the aisle, managing my only freak out of the day, and even convincing the venue to get on ladders and change the curtains so they didn’t look like church. And these are just the ones I know about!
She was my spiritual guide, my ride or die, my left hand woman, my guardian angel, and the best friend of all my family and friends. We still talk about how perfect Melanie was. I cannot imagine my wedding without her.
Melanie, my sweet angel: you made my wedding so enjoyable. I knew that you were in my corner and I am forever grateful for you. It was the best day of my entire life and you played a critical role in making that true. Thank you for everything, and especially the things I still do not know. Truly - from the bottom of my heart, I couldn’t have done it without you.
We used Melanie from the list of preferred vendors at our venue and we're glad we did! We went with the day of coordination, which included everything we needed including a very de...
tailed and well thought out timeline. Melanie was really responsive getting the day-of timeline set, and made my type A brain very happy to have everything settled ahead of time. She was great at fielding questions the day of from vendors and family, and had a great grasp on what we wanted day-of and worked with my family members to set everything up. She's punctual and very organized. Her timeline was very very useful to send to my family, as they had many questions on timing that Melanie had already written out. We also had several meetings in the months leading up to the wedding to ask for help on traditions, timings, and ideas of what other couples did and what worked for them to help gauge expectations. She's got a wealth of knowledge and is very pleasant and professional.

from the start. Not only did she gracefully coordinate all of the day's proceedings, she quickly saw our vision for the day-of and knew exactly how to help where we had blind spots. She did everything she could to make sure the day went smoothly, constantly thinking and being a step ahead, and we're so super grateful for her!

d a joy to work with. We hired her around 8 months out from our wedding date and she instantly made wedding planning easier and more organized even though it was so far out (and we hired her for only day of coordinating). Not only was she patient with all our questions throughout the planning process but she was knowledgeable, quick to respond, and added great expertise.
Rehearsal and day of the wedding went absolutely amazing because of her. If something did go wrong, we never found out about it because Melanie handled it. She was professional, organized, and on top of everything but also was relaxed and carried herself with extreme ease. Great vibes all around. We couldn't have asked for someone better.
It was a pleasure working with you Melanie! Thank you :)

Melanie's personality is so bright and refreshing it will put you at ease on your big day. Eternally grateful!!

argely stressed out about all the things until she stepped in. She made the weeks up to the wedding largely stress free (she unfortunately can’t change the weather) and day of I stressed over nothing except having enough mimosas on hand in the bridal suite. She was a smiling face when I needed it even when she was bundled in a parka.

oping a relationship with the previous coordinator, but Melanie swept in like the empathetic, incredibly well-organized fairy godmother that she is. During our first call she was open to our thoughts and keen to help us bring our (fairly non-traditional) vision to life. She even met up with me at the venue the week before just to see each other in person and really get a feel for our needs. Our wedding was pretty DIY and she was INCREDIBLE with helping out with arranging and setting up the space. Melanie really helped our wedding be the amazing, beautiful event we dreamed of. We cannot recommend her more highly!!

iated having her on the day of the wedding when I was completely scatterbrained. Melanie kept everything on track and I didn't have to think about it at all - my husband and I were just able to enjoy the day. And when I had a personal fiasco of my mask causing lipstick to be ALL OVER my face Melanie came to the rescue and got everything I needed while I hid in the bathroom (it's funny to look back now). My family and wedding party said that she was absolutely stellar after we'd left when everything needed to be packed up. She made sure all of our gifts and belongings made it into the proper cars and my mom said she was so kind and efficient the whole time. Also Melanie is just the sweetest person ever so it was so easy and pleasant to work with her.

When our original wedding coordinator cancelled on us 3 weeks before my daughter's wedding, someone recommended Melanie at Always a Bridesmaid. We contacted her and thankfully she...
agreed at the last minute to coordinate our wedding and rehearsal dinner! She was not overwhelmed at all at the idea of taking this on at the last minute! (Our whole family, including the bride, lived out of town so that made things even more complicated!). Melanie was not the least bit overwhelmed though, and she was extremely positive and enthusiastic from our first phone call with her to post-wedding. When we met her at the rehearsal dinner for the first time, she had a smile on her face and it never left her face throughout the entire weekend! Melanie was extremely organized, always on time (early, actually!), very pleasant and enthusiastic, fun, and calm under pressure! She was so easy to get along with and I actually felt like I had made a new friend by the end of the wedding. Melanie worked well with everyone involved in the wedding (including a very large wedding party). There were a couple of unexpected things that we had to figure out the day of the wedding, but she worked everything out with ease. She also brought a bag with everything the bridal party might need in case someone forgot something. If you need a wedding coordinator, do not hesitate to hire Melanie at Always a Bridesmaid!

h all the vendors, setup of the venue, coordination of the ceremony, etc. She was fun to work with and I trusted her to help us navigate the day smoothly. She really helped keep my stress levels down so that I could simply enjoy the day knowing that someone else had everything under control!

great suggestions and planning input, and the wedding party loved her and felt comfortable asking for anything! On the big day she brings what she refers to as her “Melanie Poppins bag” and it seriously has ANYTHING anyone could possibly ever need. We used it quite a few times while getting ready actually! Melanie was so organized which was especially helpful being that the majority of our family and friends were coming to Austin from Florida for the wedding and I really didn’t want guests feeling like they had work to do to set everything up. Melanie decorated before and after the wedding, kept us on time and on track, and worked closely with all other vendors. She was such a pleasure to work with!
