You spend the better part of a year planning your wedding...and then before you know it, it’s gone in a flash. You wake up on anSunday and realize that the last 48 hours have been ...
a blur. Having a great photographer lets you remember and savor all of those special moments even months later, when everything has turned into an amorphous, happy blob in your memory. Allyson Magda is that photographer.
Allyson was such a joy to work with, and made the whole process so much fun. She came highly recommended by a family friend who’s a wedding photographer and it’s clear why Allyson was the person we “had” to work with (we may or may not have arranged our wedding day while keeping her availability in mind). Her portraits are phenomenal, her candids were beautiful, her aesthetic and framing impeccable. We got so many incredible photos from our wedding celebration. Every time we look back through them, we relive the incredible joy of the day.
She’s also just a blast to spend time with. We both had so much fun taking our portraits with her before and after the wedding ceremony, and she was completely unobtrusive during the wedding ceremony (which was very important to us).
Allyson made it feel easy instead of stiff or staged, and was truly a master of lighting. Allyson’s formal training in art and decades of experience are clear. If you want to work with someone with world-class talent and reliability, work with Allyson!

und. Her photos are FABULOUS. She is so creative with the variety of shots she provides to her clients, like nothing I've ever seen before and I've worked with a lot of different photographers. I can't wait to showcase them on my website and social media sites. I look forward to recommending Allyson to future clients!
We had the pleasure of working with the fabulous Allyson for our wedding and we are so glad we were able to snag her! We were not able to meet her in person until the afternoon of ...
the wedding but her communication was great. She created a timeline to give us a better idea of what to expect and even gave us some recommendations for other vendors. She was very personable and has a great eye for framing and lighting! We were so excited to get our pictures back about two weeks after the wedding and they turned out wonderful! Thank you so much for capturing our special day, Allyson! We will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives!
This review is long overdue, but we used Allyson's associates, Jessica & Murray, who were AMAZING (we opted to go with associates since we couldn't afford Allyson). Jessica & Murra...
y were extremely professional on the day of and even met us for coffee in advance of our wedding date, to get to know us better (since we didn't have engagement photos). Our wedding photos are STUNNING and all of our friends and family said they looked like they belonged in a wedding magazine. Thanks for making us look spectacular on our special day. You will not be disappointed if you go with Allyson's company! As a fun side note, my brother ended up using Allyson herself a year later for his wedding, so my husband and I got to meet her in person - she's the best and my brother's photos looked stunning too!

until the day of our wedding but we all got along great! Her communication was great before and after our wedding and she helped us organize everything. Allyson and her assistant were amazing and we never felt like they imposed on our day in any way, our guests loved them both as well. We were also thrilled when we got our photos back earlier than anticipated and we are absolutely in love with all of them! Their creativity and fun nature made it so easy to be ourselves and we will treasure these photographs forever, we are so happy with our decision to hire Allyson!!! Thanks for capturing our big day so beautifully Allyson!!!

took a TON of photos. The whole time we were laughing with her and truly felt like we were working with an old friend. The comfort and ease she provided, allowed her the opportunity to take honest shots of us just being ourselves.
We thought it would take months to get all our photos back but it took a mere 3 weeks! And they were all so beautiful!
Would 100000% recommend Jill and Allyson

She even got my husband to feel comfortable, and he hates having his picture taken. Our photos are STUNNING! e but Jill right away wins your trust and sets you at ease. You feel like you've known her for years so your guard is already lifted when she pulls out her camera. I trusted her completely to capture the venue since she was so familiar with it and knew the best spots to be in. She would get a vision in her head and ask if we were okay to venture out into the vineyard for her shots- which, of course, we were. She is such a kind, sweet soul and one I recommend whole-heartedly for amazing pictures!

nd they were so easy to work with and really listened to what we were looking for. I got to email with Allyson as well and loved the great communication and level of expertise and knowledge. There's a reason they have been featured in magazines and shot the famous Facebook wedding- they are incredible! Definitely worth every penny!!
She is not only a great photographer but also a great person. Worth the extra dollar.
Our photographers, Ali and Jill were so professional and kind! It was great to work with them and the pictures turned out exactly like I wanted - soft and glowing!
We cant say enough good things about Jill and Cady, the pictures came out beautiful.

AMAZING. She was so fun to work with and really flexible with changes we wanted to make. She and Ali were really great on the day of and captured our event beautifully. We knew we liked her work from our engagement shoot but the wedding photos really blew us away.
I used Jill, Allyson's associate because she had the same style as Allyson and I could afford her. Both were very easy to work with in setting everything up as we lived so far away...
from the location, Jill was a calming person but got things done on the day of the event. She was not pushy at all and my guests never felt like their space was invaded. The most wonderful part is that my photos are gorgeous! I could not have asked for better and it was so hard for me to choose which photos to put in my album. I will use them again for future life changing events!
sHE IS AMAZING!!! I loved all of her work and her!! She is a must hire!
