About this vendor
So, you're probably wondering what's with the hot dog costume.....
Here's why! I'm a HUGE goofball who is also a wedding photographer! My goal is to find couples who are ALSO big goofballs and want their wedding photos to reflect that! Ya know, the kind of photos that are laughter-filled and candid rather than posed glamour shots.
HOLY CRAP REALLY?
OH GIRL, IT IS!!! I chose this photo because I want you to see the real me, just the way I will see the *real* you on your big day. Being a friend rather than a "vendor" is totally my jam, and after 10 years of photographing for my *friends* I can tell you that the best photos are built on relationships (I just went on a taco date with one of my brides!) So, if you'd like to be friends with a hot dog and also get amazing photos, message me!

Allison is the photographer you want! She was super communicative and professional throughout the process, from meeting my partner and I via Zoom to the day of! She and her brother...
are an awesome duo, and they really helped guide us through pictures when my partner and I were mentally fried to think of cute poses. She continuously checked in throughout the night with us and you can really tell she cares about the couples she works with. We highly recommend her.
There are not enough stars to express how truly wonderful Allison is. Honestly, I would say working with her was the absolute highlight of wedding planning. After browsing her soci...
als, I knew she took the type of photos I'd dreamed of having. Within 30 seconds of our first conversation, I felt so comfortable with her. She knew EXACTLY where to go to get the engagement shoot photos we wanted. The photos were perfect. When she walked into the bridal suite on wedding day, I felt such a sense of peace. I knew we were in such good hands. She truly made our entire wedding day so special! My family couldn't stop talking about what a great photographer she is & how much they loved her. We received our wedding day sneak peak photos & they are BEYOND what I could have ever imagined! I cannot wait to see the rest! My husband is already talking about doing an anniversary shoot with her. If you're looking for the best CLE photographer, look no further!
Allison is most friendly, goofy, and helpful photographer you can hire. I knew all the photographers I spoke to would get the job done, but what really sold me about Allison was he...
r hot dog costume. Legit, no joke. She is the most friendly and joyful person and that is who I wanted to hang around with on my wedding day! Allison's bubbly, energetic personality never failed to take away any nervousness or inhibition. Because of the energy she brings, my husband and I could be our full unplugged selves, and this, captured us at our most JOYFUL. She is the photographer for those couples who love to goof and be a little weird. Allison loves it and volleys the same amount of goof right back at you.
Secondly what sold me was her genuine interest in people. Before we got down to logistics, she wanted to know about us individually and as a couple and that meant a lot to me. My husband and I walked out of our wedding experience having made new friends out of Allison and her brother Jason (second photographer).
Oh and of course finally.... I should also mention she's endlessly TALENTED she is at what she does. My engagement photos and wedding photos were JAW. DROPPING. I cried when receiving my engagement photos and the wedding photo preview. Her photos of my husband and I are so so beautiful and flattering. They weren't just pictures of my favorite person and I, they were positioned and posed masterpieces we'll have for our future kids to admire.
All in all, Allison is an amazing person who happens to also be an amazing photographer. You will love her and her work. I promise. 💕
We were absolutely blown away by Allison's photos of our wedding! As the bride, all I wanted was warm and sunny photos, and I was a bit disappointed by how cloudy the day was. Some...
how Allison managed to make it look like the sun was shining despite the clouds! She truly captured all the beauty and happiness of the day. We also worked with Allison for our engagement photos, and she knocked both sets of photos out of the park. She was also so pleasant to work with and made us feel very much at ease.
Allison is, in a word, amazing. Going over our wedding photos made us laugh and made us cry. From the beginning of choosing a wedding photographer, we knew she was the one because ...
her style was so personal and really captured everyone's expressions. She was so flexible and adaptable and understanding and supportive when we had to change our wedding date because of the virus. Even when the virus started I received such a kind message asking how I was doing when I was really struggling because I have to move away from home a month earlier than expected. Allison goes above and beyond. She is not just a photographer, but a friend. We received a sneak peak of our photos the date after our wedding and they were beautiful... like a fairy tale. She captured our wedding better than we could have hoped. My husband and I would recommend her to anyone! THANK YOU SO MUCH <3

veryone and enjoying everyone's company. She also likes dogs. Our dogs were at our engagement shoot and we were SO SO SOOOO happy they could be involved in some way! The pictures turned out great and she has a unique style of editing with a lot of light which I really like. She's also very communicative and won't promise you anything she can't give you. Overall, she's awesome!

uickly too and showed us sneak peeks the day after. Her experience and professionalism really allowed us to relax and have a great time with family and friends. Having her with us during the wedding and rehearsal dinner was also delightful; it feels like working with a longtime friend. She's tons of fun to work with. She's incredibly thoughtful about timing, coordinating different people within shots, and putting people at ease to capture candid, goofy moments. She also has great ideas on how to create stunning, unforgettable shots that are unique to the people and the setting.

tail that she can bring out the most of every photo location. I do not like having photos taken of me. I get impatient and cranky because it's not something that I like to do. But she made the experience so enjoyable for me I actually liked getting my photo taken for once!
We were also not able to meet with Allison in person very much because we were planning our wedding from out of state, but she worked with us over the phone and through Skype to make sure that we were in regular contact and that we were all aware of the necessary details of the night.
We got our full photos two months after the event, but during that time Allison sent us some preview images and even released a small number of photos the next day! Allison is extremely skilled, personable, and all-around fun!
Allison killed it. We found her online during our search and met in a Starbucks for the first time and we knew she was our photographer. Allison did amazing during our engagement a...

folios and reviews before I was able to narrow down to 2 photographers. In the end, I decided to go with Allison. Just by reading through her website, you'll know that she understands what you're going through and will make the day as stress-free and fun as possible. And she really delivers! She is really easy to talk to, always prompt in communication and has a wonderful positive energy.
Her and her husband were both absolutely wonderful to work with and the results were just breathtakingly beautiful. It was everything we've hoped for and more! I would definitely recommend her to everyone who'd want a professional and personable photographer that will put you at ease and produce wonderful works of art for you! Thank you so much Allison! :D

the trade and is highly creative without being gimmicky. The photos look absolutely high-end proving that some talents, you're just born with. I loved how Allison scouted out our venue beforehand and was fully prepared to shoot in a few artful locations. She even drove through a blizzard to photograph our day, and was still on time! She had previews of a few key shots less than 24 hours after the wedding... wow. Truly one of the best photographers in Cleveland.

commodating, sweet, and easy to work with. And the photos were gorgeous too. Then the wedding photos... I get emotional whenever I see them because they captured the magic and the mood and the beauty of our special day. Hands down I recommend her to anyone for any special event they want professional photographs of. And really besides her talent she is a delightful person to work with which makes it even better! Five stars all day every day!!!
Allison is wonderful!! She had the most laid back, flexible vibe of any photographer we talked to, and we couldn't be happier we booked her for our wedding. She kept things easy ...
and light throughout the day, adapting as our plans (and weather) frequently changed. We are 2 of the least photogenic people around, but she took some amazing candid shots that really captured the feel of the day. Strongly recommend!

t UConn. I didn't have to look through any more portfolios to know that her photography skills were the ones that I wanted at my wedding. She and her husband Joe are WONDERFUL people - they make the photography process as enjoyable as the rest of the wedding - the ceremony and reception included. They are professional (of course), talented (of course), and worth every single penny and more. Allison and Joe are a delight to work with and both have a keen artistic eye. I write this review having seen three of my wedding photos, and I know that the rest are going to be equally as amazing and breathtaking. BOOK ALLISON HOPKINS PHOTOGRAPHY for your wedding. She and Joe are the absolute BEST.
