Allie Coyle Photography

-of, she was organized and efficient. Allie was quick to supply plenty of ideas for photos, and gave us helpful directions. I wanted a photographer I could trust to capture the uniqueness of the day, not re-create images from Pinterest. As a result, my husband and I received photos that speak to our relationship with each other and our friends & family. We received photos that tell the story of the day; so many were wonderful that it was hard to choose which to print! Though we received hundreds of photos and only so many can be entirely unique, I would have traded some of the repeated poses for a greater variety of candids of our family at the reception. Additionally, because Allie doesn't know me or my family very well, she wasn't aware of what we consider our most flattering looks. I have a few that make me cringe, just because we didn't speak up about what we consider our "best face forward." I am sure that, to strangers, the photos are lovely. This is only to say that communication with any vendor is key--Allie can't read minds. Overall, I am thrilled with what we received! The photos themselves are extremely well composed, and do not rely on heavy-handed editing or filters. Any retouching was done with such a light hand. Allie's style and her best photos take advantage of natural light, but I was incredibly impressed with her low-light photography; no photos are harsh, blurry, or artificial. She also captures movement beautifully; some of the dancing photos from our reception are worthy of a magazine spread! Allie was by far my favorite vendor and I treasure our wedding photos. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
