Alison to the Altar

was so sick, she became the calm, caring anchor holding everything together. Alison handled every need behind the scenes and ensured I did not have any added stressors. With total grace she handled details I couldn’t even think about in the moment. She pulled all my tiny details together without bringing any stress into my day. Our weekly phone calls leading up to the wedding also brought clarity and calmness to me during the wedding planning phase! What meant the most was her genuine compassion — Alison didn’t just “do her job,” she checked in constantly, kept me comfortable, reassured my family, and still managed to execute the day flawlessly. Because of Alison, our wedding still felt magical, intentional, and full of joy. Sean and I are beyond grateful and truly could not imagine our day without her!

g the wedding planning process, provided day of coordination to make sure all our vendors were arriving on time, ran our rehearsal, and put together the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnières, table arrangements, and alter flowers. I can’t rave enough about Alison and her team! Because of them our wedding went very smoothly and we were able to enjoy the day stress free.

e, ensuring a stress-free process. She recommended top-notch vendors from caterers to photographers, who perfectly aligned with our vision. Her organizational skills and vendor connections saved us money without sacrificing quality. Our guests are still raving about her gorgeous floral designs, especially the custom arbor and bouquets she designed. We highly recommend Alison to the Altar for her warmth, expertise, and ability to make your wedding day bloom from start to finish!

wild day for weather and she never faltered and made sure I had the best day regardless of the weather! Throughout the wedding planning process, Alison was extremely helpful and made sure my Type B butt stayed on track. There are so many things I would've missed if it hadn't been for her! We had check-in calls throughout the process, she gave all sorts of amazing vendor/detail recommendations, we laughed and shared funny wedding experiences, and I never once felt uneasy about the wedding and how it would go after our check-in calls. Alison gave me so much confidence that our wedding would be perfect, and it was! If you need someone to provide you with the best recommendations, a kick in the butt to stay on track, the confidence that your wedding will be perfect no matter what, and a friend to laugh and smile with, Alison is your coordinator!! Did I mention she also does florals, has decor rentals, AND can officiate weddings? She's basically a one stop shop for all your wedding needs!

ight lifted from my shoulders. She is unbelievable and there is no way we would have been able to execute this dream wedding without her and her team. If you think you can do it all yourself, you’re gonna lose your marbles. Hire these guys. You’ll actually get to enjoy your special day.

experienced with Alison at the Altar. For starters, whenever we would have a phone call with Alison (check-in or modifying the floral plan) she had no idea whom she was talking to, running late to our phone appointment, and/or quoting misinformation on the floral plan (for example my centerpieces were 3 different size cylinder vases with floating candles inside, she continued to suggest lanterns and cylinders) I respectfully declined her suggestion each time but it seemed that it was always brought up during our phone calls. I consistently had to remind her of our floral vision and/or have to correct her often. I started cc'ing my wedding planner on all our emails so she was aware of what was going on. During the two-week check-in, I had concerns that I expressed to Alison and she reported back to my wedding planner threatening to pull out from our wedding (any bride would have anxiety about this two weeks before her wedding). She informed me that the arbor that we had planned to use was "broken" - I suggested to Alison that I could find another vendor that has the Hexagon arbor that we wanted in stock that way we did not have to use a backup arbor that we did not want. She stated that she had a replacement and that it would be there in time for the wedding. Fast forward to the wedding day, the said replacement arbor also broke so I had to use the backup arbor which was not a part of my backup plan. There is much more that I could include in this review but would exceed the word limit. What I can say is the florals did turn out how I expected them to turn out and my boutique was beautiful. Mike and I never met her in person on the day of the wedding, someone else from her staff brought the flowers to us. Alison's work is amazing and that goes without saying, I just think she needs to work on her communication skills and time management; it seems she takes on too many weddings and becomes overwhelmed/does not write anything down which then backfires when she has these meetings with her brides. For future brides, if you are using a wedding planner, I recommend you cc them in your emails, keep a paper trail and make sure you reiterate YOUR wedding vision and stick to it. For the amount of money you are spending on your wedding, you want it to be how you envisioned it to be. - The Lusbys

ere able to take the ideas in my head and bring my vision to life. Mind readers! They are brilliant designers, professional, timely, and so fun to work with! Alison and her team provided the decor for our ceremony/reception and the florals. Working with them is so stress-free and I was able to just relax on my wedding day knowing they transformed a plain ballroom into a stunning coastal oasis! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone planning a wedding. You will not be disappointed!! Thank you to the entire team for decorating my wedding to be an absolute fairytale!

formed our beach ceremony. It was exactly how I'd always imagined. She also help set up/ breakdown our reception space. She took my ideas and instructions and put them to life. Everything was how I envisioned.

ess. She truly made our wedding magical.

on exceeded our expectations and helped us achieve the dream wedding we had always hoped for. Alison is very knowledgeable and knows all the local vendors personally which was very helpful with our tight deadline. She made sure we had all our coordinations complete in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She listened to our needs and was able to meet at all hours of the day to discuss anything. On the day of the wedding she helped things go seamlessly and assured us that she had everything under control so we could actually enjoy our wedding. I would highly recommend Alison and team to anyone looking to make their day memorable.

ng weddings and knows what she's doing, what works best, and what to avoid. We have felt lucky to have her expert opinion as we figured out how to bring our vision to life through florals, rentals, centerpieces, etc. She's been gracious and flexible as we've navigated COVID, and though we had to push back our larger reception to 2021, her team still did our bouquets and flowers for our 'minimony' in September and we were BLOWN AWAY! The flowers were gorgeous and even prettier than what I had envisioned, and her team went above and beyond in delivering to two separate locations and dealing with the chaos of the day. Thank you Alison, Stephanie, and Brittney!!

all fronts. We met with her ahead of time to go over the plan and she executed without a hitch. The decorations were set up perfectly and she made sure the ceremony and reception stuck to the timeline. She even made sure all other vendors were there on time and went behind them to make sure they were set up and on task. She even made sure the bride and groom ate plenty of food and always had a drink in hand. Furthermore she just handled all the "little things" that we didn't even consider or think about. She made this day for us because we knew we could count on her and we could focus on what was important and that was celebrating us and our new beginning. We are so grateful someone made this recommendation for us!

was perfectly managed on our wedding day. Even when I through a little curve by asking Allison to help me surprise my bride with the horse and carriage, Allison coordinated perfectly and came through.we can’t thank you enough for the experience.

y mind! I had some pinterest visions that they made a reality AND THEN SOME! It was so gorgeous, she payed attention to every single detail and it all came together so lovely. The flowers were to die for! I never could have imagined something so beautiful. The staff was exceptionally friendly and you could tell are a great team of employees! They were with me every step of the way! Everyone worked together to make it the day of our dreams!!! Thank you all sooo much again!

th her. She is very easy to get along with and has lots of energy! She offered suggestions to create a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception for us. She and her team ( along with Veronika who does florals) made sure that every detail was attended to! Thank you Veronika! Your work is breathtaking! Alison was very attentive and quick in answering any questions or concerns I had during the process. She made suggestions on places to order favors etc from. If she did not hear from me...she would check in to see if I needed anything. She and her staff along with the staff from Hooper's made sure that our day was seamless. They made sure everyone was where they needed to be and that guests were directed when they arrived. I could not have pulled off our perfect day without Alison to Altar. You made my dream come true. I started with a wedding planner and left with a friend. To anyone even thinking about it.....worth every penny spent and more. I will be back for my renewal. I can't thank you enough Alison! gorgeous looking, but completely stress free. Sent on 4/18/19

r every need. The ceremony was so beautiful I had to hold back my tears of joy. Alison was so sensitive and in tune to our wishes. I felt like I had known her forever. I highly recommend Alison and her team to help you create the wedding of your dreams!

matter-Alison’s plan B was admittedly prettier than my original Plan A and everything went off without a hitch. From the set up, to the ceremony, to the DJ, cake, and catering my day was small, intimate, and memorable-just the way I wanted it. I wouldn’t have been able to pull any of it off without Alison To The Altar’s attention to detail, quick action, and support.

k with and gave us lots of great ideas for both our ceremony and reception. We started working with Alison over a year before our wedding, she gave us a recommended vendor list (we used her chair vendor for the ceremony) and she checked in periodically throughout the year to see how the process was going. When the wedding got closer, we met in person to talk through what was done and what still needed to be done. The day before the wedding, we did a walk through with Alison at both our ceremony and reception sites. The day of Alison coordinated with our reception venue to decorate for the reception and made sure the ceremony chairs were setup correctly. She had a few other weddings going on the same day, so one of her assistants, Brittany, was the officiant for our ceremony and did a great job making sure the transition from the ceremony to the reception went smoothly. Thank you Alison and the Alison to the Altar team for helping us make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be! Highly recommend!
