Alison and her team is amazing! Prior to the wedding so was communicative, responsive and provided helpful resources. We did an engagement session with her as well and immediately ...
fell in love with her and her photos. Personally, she is kind and fun, which makes you feel comfortable throughout the day! She honestly gave off loving older sister vibes. She has a lot of experience, especially in the Pittsburgh area. Alison recommended areas to go for rain or shine and knew really great poses. Her talent and expertise is truly unmatched! I love our gallery and can’t even pick a top 10. She always checked in throughout our wedding, works great with kids, helped me with my veil, buttons on my dress and fluffing my train too many times. During the chaos of the day, she moved things around to accommodate the timeline. Alison and her team are a 12/10!!
I cannot say enough incredible things about Alison Mish! She was a dream photographer who truly enhanced our entire wedding experience from our first call, through to receiving our...
wedding gallery. Alison is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and talented, easing any stresses or unforeseen issues with her calm, capable personality. She communicated with us regularly from when we first booked her, and made us feel confident in our photographer choice immediately. Alison blends in seamlessly on the wedding day, giving direction when needed, and capturing the day beautifully. Alison is a true wedding professional and we feel so lucky to have had her capture the biggest day of our lives.
Alison not only made us feel super comfortable with both our engagement and wedding day photos, she perfectly captured our emotions and the happiness of the day. We all felt and lo...
oked beautiful. Alison was patient when needed and assertive when needed and helped us stick to our timelines. I have spent countless hours looking through our photos and each time I notice something new that makes me smile. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day perfect Alison!
Alison was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! She is so talented and sweet and I could not recommend her more!!! She first did our engagement shoot and the photos were absolutely stunning! We ...
knew, after that, we more than made the right choice in booking her for our wedding too. She was so helpful during the wedding planning - her communication was great and was helpful about recommending other vendors to us too. She worked with us to created a timeline for wedding day that worked for everyone involved. On wedding morning, she WAS EVERYTHING!!!! Of course things did not go exactly as planned when it came to getting all the girls' hair and make up done. But, I left it to Alison, and she coordinated everything perfectly to make sure we still got all the shots we originally intended to and made it look so easy! The morning could have been stressful, but with her, I never once felt stressed. I am so thankful for her! Everything was so easy. Alison and Alisa worked so well together in coordinating the guys and girls shoots to make sure that we did not see each other prior to the ceremony - something that was very important to me. After the wedding, Alison sent us the photos so quickly too - it was about 5 days after the wedding!!! I was so impressed. When my husband and I looked at them together, it was like reliving our wedding day. She captured every moment so beautifully, we were truly speechless. I am so thankful that we had Alison on our wedding day and I could not recommend her more.
Words cannot express how amazingly talented Alison is. My husband and I hired Alison to photograph our wedding, and I can easily say it was the best decision we ever made. Alison w...
as extremely responsive and SUPER easy to work with. She made my husband and I feel comfortable and cared for, even while planning with uncertainty through a pandemic.
Alison and her husband Mike were so fun and efficient. Aside from taking photos, they were both extremely helpful with managing our wedding day schedule and lending a helping hand when needed. We had all of our photos back in one week, and even had surprise print outs on our sweetheart table! We were so impressed with the turnaround. Alison captured so many beautiful moments from our engagement session and wedding day, and we are so thankful to have these precious memories to look back on. The quality, color, and creativity of the photos are simply amazing and a dream come true. We continue to be blown away by her work.
I would highly recommend Alison Mish Photography for your big day! I can promise you will not be disappointed.
I don't even know where to possibly start my review about Alison. Alison is one of the loveliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and on top of that, she is one of the...
most talented photographers I've ever met. At the time I got engaged, I had followed Alison's work on Instagram for years, so I knew she did many larger weddings because she is a very popular, busy Pittsburgh Photographer. I, however, was having a very small winter wedding, and wasn't sure if she would want to take up a weekend with such a small event. I decided to reach out anyway and Alison was so sweet from the first email, and all throughout our wedding experience! Alison and I worked together to create a package for a smaller wedding, and she gave us all the attention and care that I know she gives to her largest weddings! Our ceremony was at Phipps and the pictures we got there are so light and romantic and I will cherish forever. She did an amazing job coordinating and she is very efficient! Our dinner was at Hyeholde Restaurant, and the Roundroom is very dark, but somehow with her magic, all of our photos from the reception were also beautiful.
From the moment we met her we just connected with Alison. She has such a relatable, mellow, sweet personality that just puts you at ease. You can place your full trust in her to document your special day so that you can be busy actually living it, and enjoying every moment! There is no one I could recommend more. We loved Alison!
Where do I even begin? Ali (and her husband Mike) have been family friends for years. They are so sweet and dedicated to their trade! When picking our photographer, Ali Mish was th...
e only choice for our wedding. The way they capture your love on your big day is unbelievable. During the engagement shoot and during the wedding day, my husband and I felt so comfortable and ourselves because of Ali (and Mike). She captured all of the details from the ceremony to the reception in the most gorgeous way. They also captured all of the special moments between Will and I and our family. She excels in her skills. Just look at the pictures. It proves it all. You must choose Ali!! We will cherish those photos forever.
Alison and Mike are the best and made our day so special. They were so helpful during the whole entire wedding process. On the wedding day, Alison gave great advice, helped us stay...
on time and even helped on the little things - like how to hold my dress while walking through fields. It's the little things during the wedding day that mean a lot, and Alison and Mike delivered through and through. My husband and I would recommend them, 100%. And on top of everything else, Alison and Mike are just truly kind and genuine people. Thank you for everything you did for us!

ding planning process. Our photos look phenomenal and captured the day beautifully. Alison worked over dinner and put a sample of our photos on her iPad to be displayed at the bar during the reception. She had a blog post of the entire day out while we were still on our honeymoon, and our total album of photos (1,046) to us 11 days after our wedding. The photo taking process was relaxed and casual, especially for a couple who does not enjoy getting their pictures taken. I was wowed by every single picture and was impressed by her ability to capture pictures that were truly "us." Our guests raved about how Alison was everywhere all night. Every time there was a photo opportunity, she was right there capturing it. She is worth every penny!
Alison and her husband Mike are an incredible team!! They are so fun and easy to work with. Not only are you going to get gorgeous photos, but they do not add stress to your day - ...
they are so supportive and truly great people. It is so obvious how experienced and professional they are. They are the best of the best! & Hail to Pitt! :)
Alison was one of the first vendors I booked for my May wedding. I fell in love with her style of shooting and editing and once we spoke on the phone I knew she was the photograph...
er for us. Alison made my 'camera shy' husband comfortable during our engagement shoot. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding Alison was shooting before mine and was happy with how professional and personal she was to all guests. Alison and Mike arrived to the hotel promptly and began shooting right away. They were able to wrangle in our crazy large group and capture some great shots. If Alison Mish is on your short list of photographers - book her! You will not be disapointed.
So glad we chose Alison as our wedding photographer. On top of being a talented photographer, what separates Alison is her personality and how easy she is to work with. Do NOT unde...
restimate the importance of this. You spend so much time with your photographer the day-of, I really feel like it's crucial that you get along well with them. She's extremely sweet and listens to everything you say: my fiancee and I were sure we did not want a first-look. Some of the other photographers we talked to tried to pressure us into one, but Alison embraced our views even though it made our timeline a little more difficult (She aced that timeline btw). If you want a particular shot, she will find a way to make it work, but she's also not afraid to give you her professional opinion. On the day-of, Alison was constantly with me and had so many helpful opinions. It was basically like having another wedding planner. That alone was priceless because there were so many times when I just couldn't think! She's accessible and responds to emails/texts quickly. Her platform makes it super easy to pay and see your photos which is huge. I got our FULL set of photos back within 2.5 weeks of the wedding. Anybody who hires Alison will love her work and love her personality!
Alison and Mike were the BEST to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. Their work is outstandingly beautiful, but the two of them as people are even better (if that's ev...
en possible). They are incredibly professional and shot our wedding like a well-oiled machine. We felt so comfortable taking photos with them and had a ton of fun in the process.
Alison and Mike also worked very quickly and were able to display some beautiful photos at our reception, which really impressed our guests. Seven months later, we still have guests commenting on how professional and talented Alison and Mike are. On top of that, we had all of our photos back before we even returned from our honeymoon, which was a wonderful surprise.
We could not have chosen a better duo to photograph our wedding than Alison and Mike and we recommend them to everyone we know. We will definitely use them again for any professional photos in the future.

y to work with you'll instantly feel comfortable. Alison is so organized and ensures she is asking the right questions before the wedding so that on the actual day you're super efficient with your photos and they don't go on for hours so you actually get to enjoy your reception. All of this and the pictures are stunning!
Alison and Mike were a joy to work with...and they were fellow pitt alums! Everyone in our wedding party said how much they loved working with them! The photos were unreal and they...
are SO efficient. Photos were not a hassle and fun, in fact! We highly recommend these two for wedding and engagement photography! Well worth the investment to have a worry-free, wedding photography experience. We never doubted that Alison and mike would capture all the important moments! They are also incredible at indoor shots with poor lighting-something hard to come by when searching for a photographer!

n to work with! They made my husband and me feel comfortable with poses and with candid shots. They captured so many special moments throughout our day, and we now have beautiful images of our memories! Alison's blog posts make sharing with family and friends very easy. We could not have asked for a better experience with our wedding photographers!

dly and personable, she also makes you feel so comfortable, even though being professionally photographed is foreign to most people. She poses you so you don't even have to think about what you're doing, then magically makes it look so natural on camera! We received countless compliments about Alison and Mike's presence at the wedding--they're so efficient and capture everything without being intrusive. Alison is a true talent and we will always treasure our beautiful photos!
Alison did our engagement and wedding photos and we are beyond thrilled with the way they turned out.
My wife (then fiancee) and I met Alison for a consultation at her house. We...
looked through samples of her work and we were very impressed with not only the photography and style, but also the presentation. Also, she baked us lemon cookies.
After the engagement session and the wedding, we were always thrilled to see sneak peeks of our photos on Alison's site - and she made it very easy to review and download full sessions of the final files from her site. Her attention to these details definitely gives her a leg up on a lot of the other competition.
Alison and her husband, Mike, absolutely captured "us" in the photographs and we're extremely happy with the results. Highly recommended vendor.
Alison and her husband Mike are the cutest couple in the world and absolute sweethearts! Sometimes being photographed can be awkward if you are not used to it, but Alison and Mike ...
make it enjoyable, fun and natural! Not to mention, their work is stunning. The happiness and love they are able to capture along with the artistic touches are what made us set on having them from day one. One of the reasons we picked our date was because they were available! Having a husband and wife team who are so in love with each other and love what they do put us at ease. I love these two to pieces and wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture the moments that will last a lifetime.

and made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera. They were so thoughtful throughout our engagement and sent us fun little notes and small gifts to get us excited for the big day. We knew they really cared about us and took the responsibility of photographing our wedding very seriously. They happily traveled from Pittsburgh to Lancaster for our wedding and were very reasonable with what they asked for in terms of travel compensation. Alison and Mike were also very helpful while the guys and girls were coordinating on the wedding morning. They were sure to communicate with each other so that my husband and I did not see each other before the ceremony. During the reception, I felt like they were EVERYWHERE! They really paid attention to photographing many of our guests, which we love. It is wonderful not to only have great pictures of us and the wedding party, but also our guests. We also love the PASS software that they use to share the photos. It is very easy to work with and it is great to have quick access to all of the pictures. We have not ordered our wedding album yet (too many amazing pictures to choose from), but the samples we were shown are beautiful and can't wait to have our own!
Overall, we would highly recommend working with Alison Mish Photography!

heir clients - they shot our wedding pictures while standing under umbrellas in pouring down rain and our photos are GORGEOUS! Alison is wonderful to work with and really made an effort to help us throughout the entire planning process. I cannot say enough about how easy she made planning this aspect of our wedding. Alison & her husband are so sweet and were wonderful to work with!

photos that we just can't stop looking at/gushing over.
Alison (and Mike) are such a joy to work with, making the whole process easy and relaxed. As a bride planning a Pittsburgh wedding out of town, Alison was able to ease my mind and walk me through the whole process. She was quick to respond to any email, call, or text and made us feel very special from the time we had our initial consult to the time we said farewell to them after our wedding.
I could not say more about the quality of the work and the passion she has for all that she does. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
I found Alison through a friend that got married a couple years ago. I loved her modern take on photography for weddings, and my now husband and I knew we had to book them for our ...
wedding. Alison's second photographer is her husband, and they both have a keen eye for detail. The love that they have shines through in their photography. They know that a couple's wedding is one of the biggest moments in their life together, and they capture every moment, every detail, every laugh and most of all love! If I ever had a question about anything, she was right there with an answer and guidance. Alison keeps up to date with her company blog, and will post sneak peak pictures, and then do a whole blog about your day. I had my link to our online wedding gallery within two weeks of our wedding. Here you can view, download, share and even order prints strait from the website. I am so happy that we chose Alison Mish Photography for our wedding and would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! I am definitely keeping her in mind for an Anniversary session and maybe even a Maternity session when that time comes!

hot. Alison is really great to work with from the engagement session all the way up to the very end of the wedding day. She stuck it out through trudging through the woods for our engagement photos and sticking it out in the misty rain of our outdoor shots on our wedding day, and the pictures turned out flawless. My favorite thing about Alison Mish Photography (other than the beautiful photography) is the personal touch they bring to each client. Alison would check in with me through out the wedding planning process, she sent an encouragement note with a Starbucks gift card a month before the wedding for a caffeine boost on those last minute late night wedding planning, with our final photos we also received beautiful custom coasters with our wedding photos on them and a book on the language of love, even after all was said and done we still received a thoughtful gift for Christmas, our very first 1st Christmas as Mr. and Mrs. ornament for our tree! They are very genuine people and both my husband and myself are so thankful we hired them for one of the most important days of our lives. Alison is a very talented photographer and also a very wonderful person. You will not regret hiring them. I promise.

table and at ease. She made the photo shoot process fun and enjoyable and was able to capture the real us in the process! No phony looking or forced pictures, just pictures that brought out our love for each other and allowed our personalities to be captured as well. Her husband, Mike, who photographs alongside her on the wedding day, was also a joy to work with. The two of them make a great team, and we can tell that not only do they love what they do, but they enjoy doing it together. I would highly recommend booking them as your wedding photographers!
