Planning a wedding from Europe came with its own set of challenges—different time zones, coordinating everything remotely, and the occasional last-minute surprise—but Alisa was always calm, responsive, and reassuring throughout the process. Communication was easy despite the distance, which gave us a lot of confidence while planning from abroad. On the wedding day itself, I was incredibly nervous, especially after my bridesmaids experienced unexpected travel disruptions and we suddenly had to reorganize several responsibilities. Alisa handled everything with such composure and professionalism that it immediately put us at ease. Her calm presence allowed us to simply enjoy the day instead of worrying about the logistics. The ceremony itself was heartfelt, personal, and exactly what we had envisioned. We especially appreciated that Alisa embraced our request for a more European-style flow to the day, with a relaxed aperitivo-style welcome before the ceremony rather than the traditional order. It was a small detail that made the celebration feel even more personal and reflected our vision perfectly. We also ran into challenges finding a florist within our short planning timeline, and Alisa was quick to recommend alternatives and help us find a solution, which we really appreciated. If I could suggest one thing to make an already wonderful experience even better, it would be to give couples the opportunity to visit the venue before the wedding day—or provide even more virtual resources for those planning from overseas. We also found it a little challenging to source certain vendors for our short-notice wedding, so a bit more flexibility regarding outside vendors could be helpful where possible. These are only minor suggestions, though, and they certainly didn't take away from what was an unforgettable day. Our entire wedding weekend from getting ready at the AirBnB to our first dance at Promise Ridge as husband and wife was so unforgettable, and we could not have asked for anything more. The fact that it was all put together by Alisa's recommendations is a testament that you can put all of your faith in Promise Ridge for your perfect day.

Alisa is a wonderfully talented person who truly tells your love story. It is not simply just a ceremony that she writes. She meets with you over zoom before having you complete a series of very detailed questions/prompts prior to writing your ceremony which allows her to really get to know you as a couple. Alisa also has multiple suggestions for traditions/unity celebrations so that you can customize your ceremony. I found this very helpful in making ours personalized and a perfect reflection of my now husband and I. When I say the dry eyes were few and far between during the ceremony, I mean it! So many people came up to me, my husband, or our families afterwards and said that they were brought to tears and that our ceremony was the best they had ever been to. We also heard multiple people comment that Alisa’s voice is so soothing, and that she should narrated audiobooks or do a podcast! Alisa is a true professional and extremely responsive. Throughout the entire planning process, we never had any doubt that our ceremony would be executed flawlessly. Wedding planning is stressful, but at no point in working with Alisa was our ceremony anything I had worries about. I would recommend her services without hesitation or reservations. I can’t think back on my ceremony without welling up with happy tears. A million thank yous, Alisa!
