Alex Healy Photo

h me before I even booked, provided a comprehensive investment guide, the most beautiful and varied galleries and includes an engagement session! The engagement session was so much fun, we really got to know each other and the pictures were fantastic. Even though a personal issue arose during our session, Alex was the consummate professional, not skipping a beat and we knew we were in great hands! I could not have gotten ready for my wedding without Alex - her sense of calm and organization really put me at ease. I felt like she "got me" and knew what I needed throughout the day / evening. My wedding pictures are STUNNING, they're a dream come true and I feel so grateful that we have them forever. They really reflect us individually, and as a couple. We look forward to booking Alex for our future special events / milestones. We are so grateful for her excellent work.

t bridal attendant - she did it all! She gave us so many amazing recommendations for different vendors, helped us create our full timeline for the big day, and constantly made sure we were doing alright during the wedding. Both my husband and I are generally awkward/ uncomfortable in front of a camera, but Alex made us feel completely at ease and we had a blast taking our engagement and wedding day photos with her. She is also incredible intuitive and could tell right away during photos if I was feeling overwhelmed and she would call for breaks which was awesome! If you are considering hiring Alex for your own wedding, DO IT RIGHT NOW!! She is the absolute best and you will love her!!

work with! She also shared a preview of our wedding photos the day after our wedding which was incredible. I highly recommend her!

x forever. Thank you!!

tos are more than I could have imagined. A month before the wedding Alex sent out a questionnaire for the photos we were looking for and it was so detailed and specific I knew I would be getting exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding Alex and her assistant were focused and calm and that was exactly what I needed on such a hectic day. Everything was absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend Alex enough you will not be disappointed!!

second time. She captured every emotion… laughter, tears, motion, dogs, everything. We also had 22 in our bridal party and between that and our large families, Alex’s organization was paramount. We flew through the majority of photos before the ceremony in such an organized fashion everyone was amazed. Alex and her team knew exactly who was to be in each photo and then called out who was in the next. It was perfectly planned. We even had time to mingle during cocktail hour. She delivered so many photos I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites. What a wonderful problem to have! She made it possible to remember every detail from our wedding day. We can’t wait to work with her more in the future!!!

day go smoothly & captured all of our special moments on our special day. We loved the fact that we got our preview of our pictures by the next day which of course we were dying over they were so amazing! Then within a month of our wedding we got our full gallery. If you are looking for a photographer look no further Alex is your girl, she does not disappoint!

with, and helped our wedding day run seamlessly. The photos Alex shot of our wedding are also truly more stunning than we could've dreamed/hoped for. She is so talented - not only with posed photos and portraits, but with beautiful, emotional-filled, candid shots of our families that we will truly cherish for the rest of our lives. I also don't know anyone who has received their wedding photos back as quickly as we did - she is super speedy and more than delivered on all promises. We're already thinking of when we can work with her again. Thank you so much Alex!

eel so comfortable and she is an organizational goddess as well!! She had timelines all put together and she just made the planning process so easy. On top of just being an all around good person, she is an AMAZING photographer!! I am so honored to have had her photograph our wedding because she captured the emotion of the day so effortlessly. I always kept telling her I was honored to have her photograph our wedding because she is just that good. She is always looking out for you and I found myself reaching out to her to get her thoughts as well because I trusted her that much! With planning a wedding during a pandemic, everyone is going through so much but Alex always made sure that we enjoyed the moment every step of the way. Thank you Alex!!

mely calm and confident, which is exactly what I needed as a person who can never make a decision and gets flustered easily! Alex was with us every step of the way, which required a lot of flexibility during covid. Our engagement and wedding photos are absolutely perfect and better than I imagined. The day of the wedding went so smoothly, mostly because of Alex. She does everything from getting the tiniest detail photos, to buttoning your dress for you. It feels like she is one of your best friends with you on your special day! I cannot recommend Alex enough!

ent Session photos are stunning & we had so much fun taking them. Alex answered every question with ease during the planning process. She created a day of timeline for us, shared it with our vendors, kept us prompt and made sure all of our details were captured. Our Wedding Photos are GORGEOUS & we are looking forward to sharing the memories of our day for years to come!

lpful when I was trying to find a photographer on a budget for my wedding and helped me figure out a schedule to keep on time and get all the pictures I wanted with family. I got the most beautiful pictures to have the memory of that day. A great bonus was when my husband and I got home we already had a sneak peak from Alex of some of the pictures which was so fast and great to have!

ates pictures, or are like me who is awkward and doesn’t know how to pose ever... you found the perfect person!! She made it so easy and fun that my fiancé actually enjoyed it and was excited when we were going to do it again with her! Her personality makes it feel as if you’re hanging out, never posing and she is just capturing beautiful moments! She has always been punctual, professional and reliable! Planning our wedding she has been so helpful with information and ideas which I truly appreciate! Looking forward to the big day, and I can’t wait to see what magic she creates for us next! 💕

ng, which is saying something because my husband hates getting his photo taken. She was so flexible and understanding as we navigated postponing and then downsizing our wedding. She helped us craft a timeline for the wedding, and made sure we stuck to it so that we had enough time for all the photos that we wanted. And those photos (which we had a preview of in less than 24 hours) were absolutely stunning! We were both blown away and will cherish them always. Even through all the craziness, we had an amazing day, in no small part thanks to Alex. Alex is an absolute pro, and I highly recommend her!

dding novice. She was so kind when we had to keep moving our engagement shoot due to work and the pandemic and was so flexible in coming out to us a few days before the wedding. I had far more fun at the engagement shoot than I thought I would- I was stressed with wedding stuff and thought it would be awkward posing in front of someone I'd never met in person before. On the contrary, Alex makes you feel like you've been friends for a long time and totally put us in the right mindset. As for the day of, she was so clutch in keeping things moving, all while being friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive. Anything I needed or any question I had, I knew Alex was my girl. Impressively, she got us our wedding preview gallery nearly immediately and well... just WOW. She captured some absolutely beautiful shots that I can't wait to share and frame. I'd use her again in a heartbeat and am already thinking about future occasions where I can use her skills!

g in EVERY SINGLE STEP of the planning process and the day(s) of. Not only was she so incredibly supportive in helping plan the day of my elopement and scheduling out the shots to be taken for my reception, but she captured every beautiful moment of each day. She was always in touch, even when the planning gets hectic just to check in and see how everything is going. Of course, I am still in awe over every shot she and her assistant have taken - and this is why booking Alex (White Poppy Weddings) will honestly be the best decision of your wedding/engagement/life. Alex - you're INCREDIBLE! Thank you again for everything, the husband and I cannot say it enough! <3

unhappy with any of the pictures. She captures every real, raw, emotional moment. Gathers all the small details (that you don't think anyone will pick up on) and makes them come to life through a picture. She listens to what you want and what you don't want, puts in her two cents when needed and makes the whole day/shoot fabulous. From a walk through at your venue to crawling through a hole in a deck, in dresses, just to get the most perfect pictures of you and your spouse, this girl has it covered! You will NOT be disappointed when you book her as your photographer!

sanity! She just gets it and you will have zero regrets. She created an entire schedule of my day, made all of my photo dreams come true, AND bustled my dress ;) My day went beautifully largely because of her and I have gorgeous, incredible photos to prove it. Also, my husband and I are super awkward in front of the camera and looking at the photos - you'd never know. I could write forever but you get the point. Book her now before she is booked for your date!

call with her to discuss what we wanted and knew immediately that this was someone who knew what they were doing and we felt totally comfortable with her. She answered countless emails gladly and promptly (something that can be hard to find but makes all the difference). We had total peace of mind knowing that she was going to give us amazing photos/memories of our day. What we didn't expect was how much her professionalism and talent would mean to us on our wedding day. Our event coordinator (the 3rd one actually) quit two days before our wedding. You can imagine the emotional toll it took on us 48 hours before our wedding. Needless to say, it was a very stressful and busy two days for us. But when Alex arrived on our wedding day, I finally felt like the day would be saved. Maybe everything wasn't going to be exactly how I had planned it, but I did not doubt for one second that Alex would find the beauty in our wedding day and save it for us to look back on for the rest of our lives. She truly took over the details and made us feel like everything was under control as she ran back and forth between getting photos of me, Mike, and all of the details in between. And everyone said to me all night (and still) how sweet she was and what an amazing job she did. Sometimes vendors don't just do their job, they go above and beyond and that effort truly stays with you. I gladly recommend her to anyone getting married in the area because I know that she will deliver the same amazing results.

with how quickly we got through our photos so they could join the party. We hired a second shooter for extra coverage, and it truly felt like the two of them never missed a shot. In addition to how much we liked working with her on Saturday, we were thrilled to wake up Sunday with a preview of our entire day! I highly recommend hiring Alex and can’t wait to get the rest of our photos!!!

anxiety around being photographed and within a few minutes of meeting her, it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend (who happens to be an insanely talented photographer). I highly recommend booking White Poppy Weddings!

bly fair and reasonable, but her ability to capture the best moments in the best way is incredible. Something I was nervous about was coordinating the details of our day, as we live in Florida, Alex lives in New York, and our wedding was in New Jersey. Alex navigated this like a pro, did her research on my ceremony and reception venues, and was ready to go even without scouting the locations (which she offers—but being in so many different places my husband and I decided we would just trust her judgment the day of. She nailed it). She asked us all the right questions during the planning stages to gauge what we were after. She created a timeline for us and for our vendors to help everything on track and on time. She did an incredible job coordinating our huge families for photos in quick and efficient way. We felt at ease the entire day because of her guidance. Not only was her execution of the day on point, but we had a preview gallery of hundreds of photos within 24 hours. I cried all over again seeing the way she captured our day on paper. The pictures she took of my husband and I depict our love in a glowing way (as she captured that “golden hour” fantastically). Her photos are what I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl, and I’m so happy we chose her to capture my vision. Every time I look at them, I tear up all over again. So again, BOOK her while she’s available!!

being a fly on the wall and never a bother. She was vital in our planning process from day one. My fiancé and I are both military and planned our wedding from a far, mostly using the Knot’s reviews. The photographer was the most important to us and when we were looking at the work of artists in the Hudson Valley we absolutely loved the soft feel of Alex’s pictures. You could feel the emotion of each moment without looking at an overly edited picture. They all looked so natural and beautiful. When we opened our gallery after the wedding we were blown away by how perfectly she captured every moment with just enough editing to make it look even more gorgeous. As a bride who was nervous about how she would look, Alex made me feel beautiful in my pictures! Working with Alex was incredible. She is so punctual when it came to answering phone calls, texts, and emails. She knows how wedding planning can be stressful and her process just makes it so easy. She sent us a questionnaire to help tailor which photos and what “looks” we were going for. She also used this to draft a timeline for our day which was great because we had no idea how to line up each event and where to tell everyone to go. Her online portal is so great for handling contracts and payment. Her gallery is also an awesome way for you to quickly see pictures (did I mention we got our previews within 24 hours of our wedding??? And it wasn’t just two or three, there were a bunch to enjoy!!) and we were able to share easily with family and friends so they didn’t bug us for a ton for pictures. We cannot speak highly enough of Alex. She is so efficient when it comes to getting wonderful pictures of your day but also just letting you have a fun time while she does all the work of capturing it. She is also just so sweet and an absolute pleasure to work with! Just give her a call and you won’t regret it!!!

her work and then speaking to her on the phone and hearing her truly listen to us, we knew White Poppy Weddings was the way to go! Alex listened to exactly what we wanted to capture and did exactly just that. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and knew that amazing clips were being captured by Alex. She went to our venue ahead of time and sent us ideas and places for pictures. She even found a really nice spot, on a whim, the day of! She kept us on task, captured candid photos in between the posed photos, she was personable and it felt as though she was a guest at the wedding. She blended right in and captured the entire night for us! Alex delivered a preview of photos to us less than 24 hours after our wedding and they literally took my breath away. I would recommend Alex for any and all occasions. We hope to use her again for family photos!! If White Poppy Weddings is available on your wedding day, book them!! You won’t be sorry!

just enough direction to have our photos come out superb. Her assistant was also very good and personable and made guests feel at ease and quick to smile! We love our photos!

ant location to meet for the first time, came prepared with answers to all our questions, and provided sample photos/contract for us to see. Upon booking she also included a scout of our venue to plan out photos and set up a timeline for the day. These things may sound automatically included or “duh” things with a wedding photographer, but they’re not. We met with other photographer vendors who didn’t offer it or were unprepared. Alex was really professional, and immediately put us at ease. I knew right away after meeting with her that we would book her because of her professionalism and because she’s easygoing and sociable - exact qualities you want in your photographer since they’re with you the entire wedding day! Onto the actual day - Alex is ON IT with the timeline. We were racing the daylight with a December 1st wedding and I really appreciated her keeping us totally on schedule despite some MIA bridesmaids, misplacing the marriage license, leaving the bouquets in the hotel room, etc. We were able to get all our photos done with plenty of time and we even made the end of our cocktail hour which I thought for sure we would miss. Secondly, I stressed to Alex a few times that I wanted photos beyond ones of just me and my husband. I wanted photos of our guests having fun – and she totally delivered. We have so many fun photos of our friends and family dancing and mingling. They’re perfect. Finally, our pictures…are AMAZING! We are thrilled with how everything came out. Alex is a super talented photographer and we can’t even decide which ones are our favorite because they are all beautiful. All our friends and family complimented on how well she captured the day. We will cherish the photos forever. (Also, important to note, that she completely adhered to her photo delivery schedule, which I’m sure any bride values as you’re impatiently itching to get back photos.) I can’t thank and recommend Alex & White Poppy Weddings enough! You will not regret booking her!

ring. It was a wonderful experience working with her.

been professionally photographed before but Alex’s warm personality and humor quickly put us at ease. Alex was great at giving direction and was open to our ideas and willing to let us have some fun. After our session we were so impatient to get our photos and Alex delivered them in less than a week! We cried when we saw how beautiful our images were. Our photos were everything we wanted and more. We can’t thank Alex enough and we are so excited to have our wedding in 2020 with Alex as our photographer. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is looking for a fun and talented photographer.

s saying a lot considering how many people you need to work with to plan a wedding. From beginning to end meeting with her every time was such a pleasure. She knew exactly what our vision was and he made everything come to life with her unmistakeable talent. She really puts her heart and soul in to her work and it shows without a doubt. A few months before our wedding, Alex wanted to go with me to our venue and photography location so she can get a feel for my vision ahead of time which was so reassuring because it allowed pictures to go smoothly and efficiently. We had 200+ guests at our wedding as well as a very large bridal party and we couldn’t be happier with the way our photos turned out. I was also lucky enough to have her be available to shoot my bridal shower as well. She does it all!! I promise you won’t regret choosing White Poppy Weddings for your wedding. She is extremely reasonable if you a working within a budget and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed because her beautiful passion shows through with all of her photos. She’s amazing!

nting real emotions instead of posed fantasies. She also did a great job improvising and keeping things chill when I started to panic about being outside in a light rain in my vintage dress. And most importantly, she made my husband and I look cute even though we were sloppy drunk by the end! I highly recommend White Poppy Weddings!
