Alda's Magnolia Hill

a vintage truck and the bride ride in on a horse and carriage. The food was wonderful and the send off was spectacular!!

day with my daughter. Mrs. Alda makes sure everything is perfect. This could not be a more perfect place to begin a new life together. They truly make you feel like family. Thank you so much to Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy for making this day absolutely amazing!!! Much love and hugs!!!

cent health crisis Mrs. Alda was still on top of things, and we able to move the wedding to late June. I could not be happier of the outcome! Mrs. Alda was always in contact with me throughout all of the months, and was with me every step of the way. She is truly a good down to earth southern woman who will fight to get perfect results for your wedding. She also had her amazing photographer Mrs. Lori with us who truly made taking photos with the family a blast. This place is my number 1 to recommend for people who are looking for beauty, grace, elegance, and that good ole southern charm/personality. I 100000% recommend to give this place a look for your special day.

beautiful. I would highly recommend Alda's Magnolia Hill for a amazing and stress free wedding! Audra T.

for everyone, and Magnolia Hill was the perfect place! Alda made wedding planning so smooth. She understood what we wanted, and always made sure to address our questions/concerns! She and Buddy truly have their weddings down to an art and do everything they can to make sure your day is special. Our day went beautifully and everyone was blown away by the venue. Thank you Alda and Buddy!

appeared from a far in a little road behind the lake in a horse drawn carriage. It was amazing!!!!! The barn was decorated beautifully and Alda thought of everything right up to the departure. An okdcubtahe black limo took the bride and groom away as they drive through fireworks to a sign that lit up in sparkles that said, “Mrs and Mrs. I’ve been to many rustic wedding evenues but this place was the best I’ve ever seen. A final dove release after the I Do’s was something I’ll nevet forget.

direction in all phases of this process, including recommending fabulous caterers & photographer. We have had several guests say this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Thank you Alda & Buddy for making our daughter feel like a princess for her & Richard’s day!!

“Princess.” Mrs. Alda took care of every detail and we were able to relax and enjoy our special day. She recommended the most wonderful people to help make our daughter’s day the best it could be. She is a precious Southern lady who is the best in making wedding memories that will never be forgotten!

d through their door! Mrs. Alda made my day stress free and enjoyable. The venue was absolutely breathtaking, and I could not of asked for a more beautiful and stress free wedding!

ole package for the price. The owners are very welcoming and go above and beyond to make the day special and for you to feel at ease.

ey had ever been to. We didn’t want the night to end and will recommend Alda’s Magnolia Hill to each and everyone that asks. Thank you Alda and Buddy Ellis for the best wedding ever. We love you both so much for making our big day one for the books.

was not sure what to expect in the barn. Let’s just say I was in awe!!! They treated us like family and I’m beyond grateful for the effort they put in for me and my husband!

ding be exactly what the bride and groom wanted made the wedding day even more special. All the guests were impressed with the extra touches included in the ceremony and reception that made it a wedding to remember!

not stress over the details for Ms. Alda took care of everything and it seemingly went off perfectly. I was very impressed and have been to A LOT of weddings. This one was the best !

what I loved, they do it all. I am thrilled with my destination wedding package. My flowers were beautiful and the cake was beautiful too. I highly recommend Magnolia Hill.

e your day just like you want it. So glad I was able to get married here. I highly recommend using Alda’s. They are the best!!

tale! Most importantly, we were not stressed, and we actually got to enjoy every detail! I don’t consider myself the wedding planning type, and Alda assisted with as much or as little as I wanted. It is truly evident that Alda and Buddy put their heart and soul into each wedding to make sure they are unique and special for each bride and groom. I would recommend Magnolia Hill 1000 times over!

hat Ms. Alda, Mr. Buddy, and their team provided that they are a premiere "total package" wedding service. When thinking back to our special day, one of my favorite parts was how Ms. Alda created an atmosphere that was completely unique to me. The decor was timeless and classic, and her floral arrangements were absolutely stunning. Ms. Alda is so skilled in creating original moments through the beauty of her property combined with her talents. I was also so pleased at how well Ms. Alda communicated with us throughout the process. She kindly kept me on track when I erred towards being a procrastinator, and I truly could not have thought of all those details on my own. If I did it all over again, I would absolutely choose to have Alda coordinate my wedding; without her I would have no idea where to start! Alda's Magnolia Hill truly has a special gift for weddings. In a world where the industry sets an incredibly high standard, they constantly surpass it and make families feel unique and special with every wedding. I would absolutely recommend Alda's to anyone!

cious people you will ever meet. Alda's organization and attention to every detail are surpassed only by her creative talent and her servant's heart. I would challenge you to find a more special place or more precious people to host your wedding venue!

eption come together perfectly! They are caring and knowledgeable and their Magnolia Hill was breathtaking for the March 3, 2018 wedding of my son and new daughter in law! Thank you Alda & Buddy you two are just amazing.

ful in its own right but also beautifully decorated. The outdoor setting with the picturesque lake and woods in the background were amazing. A dove release at the end of the wedding ceremony was an extremely special touch. All of the extras such as the groom rolling up in the classic truck and my daughter and myself trotting up via horse and carriage were spectacular making the bride truly feel like a princess. The reception hall, bar area, fire pit for s’mores etc. were great and added to everything. The supporting areas with providers suggested via Mrs. Alda (making life easier on us) were the talk of all the guests (i.e. everyone raved over the food provided by the caterer “Diner is Ready” and the cake arrangement was beautiful). The send-off/exit in the classic car with fireworks provided a great climactic ending. I can’t say enough great things about Alda’s Magolia Hill and Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy Ellis. Thanks for memories we will never forget!

and Mrs. Alda did everything in her power to help us make the new date a smooth transition. We could not be happier with our experience and their venue. Both the bride and groom live in Texas so planning all the details could have been an issue; but Mrs Alda communicated by email and took the bride's Pinterest photos/ideas and made it happen! She added the personal touches we requested and made the entire wedding process a beautiful memory. We highly recommend Alda's Magnolia Hill and the team of professionals recommended by the venue.

was amazing and you can tell that Alda and her husband have worked hard to get this place looking like it does. That setting did not happen overnight. The food was delicious and the flowers/tables were beyond gorgeous. Great job!Beautiful wedding that everyone enjoyed.

2nd, but when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston...there was no way we were going to be able to make it to our wedding. While my husband Ethan, a Houston Police Officer, was helping rescue people (and I was a nervous wreck)...Mrs. Alda and Buddy were praying for us and working diligently to figure out a solution. Luckily, an opening became available on September 30th and Mrs. Alda began working her magic to recreate the day we had planned. When our day finally came, I could not have imagined anything more wonderful! Mrs. Alda and her staff had outdone themselves. On my wedding day I did not worry about a thing because I knew Mrs. Alda was taking care of me. Mrs. Alda treated us like family and to me she is like family now! To all the brides looking for where to say their vows to their sweet husband-to-be, there is no better place! I truly believe God helped my mother-in-law find Alda's Magnolia Hill because He knows what a special lady she is. Mrs. Alda has been such a blessing to me...so please let her be a blessing to you!

. They are the absolute sweetest! The day went by so fast and I'm actually a little sad it's over.

venues but Alda takes care of so much, from the decorations to the venue to the floral arrangements, and gives great recommendations on all other things that it takes the stress out of wedding planning so definitely worth the extra price!

hing so easy for me. I would do it all over again!! All my love!!!

any guests have told us that this is the most beautiful and fun wedding they've been to!

at the wedding said it was the most beautiful and awesome wedding they had ever been to. Mrs. Alda sure knows what she's doing!!!

ng this venue to realize that she is not a wedding plannner. She does offer a list recommendations of photographers etc but there is still a lot of planning that has to be done on your own. I did not use most of her suggestions and I don't know that it was greeted warmly. You are required to use her entertainment company and I will say the DJ we used was entertaining and did a great job. Alda does coordinate the day and ensure everything arrives and is in place. She also does the decorations and table flowers etc which makes the day less stressful. Some may like this and some may not. She is detail oriented, however, I felt some of my requests were ignored. The flowers she provided were pretty but did not match my bouquet as well as I would have liked even though I sent her a picture of my bouquet. I also requested live white pumpkins and had to settle for plastics decorations. That is the price of surrendering control of decorations on the day, it is too late for any further modification etc but you don't have to worry about setting up yourself. I feel that as expensive as this venue is requests should be met. Alda is detail oriented but also controlling and with her own agenda. I felt my day was very rushed. She would not allow my photographer in the venue to take detail shots until I arrived and was unfriendly to her(I feel this is due to the fact that I did not use her recommended photographer). I felt I missed out on a lot of photographs I wanted to take due to being rushed. Alda was worried about guests seeing my dress etc, however, I wanted to get the photos I wanted but felt pressured to do what she wanted. I felt the whole day was rushed and I was rushed off of the property at 8:30 (she attempted to push us out at 7:30 but met opposition). I have spoken with several people since my wedding and many agree that the day is very rushed. Something to consider when considering this venue. As I said, overall, it was a beautiful day but you have to be the type of person that can relinquish control of your day if you chose this venue.

thing. It was beautiful and I got told by so many people it was the best wedding they had been to. Thanks so much Alda and Buddy! Oh, and the caterer was equally as awesome.

s. Alda and Mr. Buddy treated us as though we were family and literally took care of everything. She captured our daughter's perfect wedding image and made her wedding day dream come true. As parents, we know there are many seasons in life that you go through and Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy took care of us and made one of the most special time in our family's life exceptional. I can not say enough about how blessed we feel to have Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy share their beautiful home and property for our celebration. They went to great lengths and care to make every thing perfect for this day and did it with great success! Their staff were the sweetest and really took great pride in what they did. They made sure our older guests were taken care of and were transported to the places they needed to be with out us having to find them. We had grandparents, great grandparents and a great great aunt there that stayed at the reception until the beautiful fireworks send off. That alone says a lot about how wonderful of hosts Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy were at taking care of our family. We can't thank them enough and they will always be special to us!! If you are looking for someone to capture your special moment, a beautiful venue with special touches to your particular taste and well planned stress free event, I would highly recommend Alda's Magnolia Hill. They get 5 stars from the Calvert family and we wish them nothing continued success!! 😘😘

pectations. There were fresh flowers everywhere you looked. Alda coordinated every detail and did an amazing job!

e help with inspiration, or an outdoor destination wedding, as they have a tried and true way of running their weddings. If you're clear about your vision and want to personalize, Alda can make it happen. If you prefer her options, it will still turn out great. So many of our guests said it was the most magical, romantic wedding they'd been to. Thanks so much Alda & Buddy! - The Kosters

to. I couldn't have chosen a better place to get married!

es who don't have Alda to help them throughout the planning process. Where other brides shared their stories of stress and tears, my entire wedding experience was joyful and memories in the making (even from out of state)! They have the perfect set up and the perfect place. I was thrilled to be stress free on the happiest day of my life, the day I married my best friend. Thank you so much Alda and Buddy Ellis.

could go on and on about all the perfectness of the day, but I'll end with saying this: if you don't get married at Magnolia Hill, your day won't be as wonderful as it should be. 10/10!
