I had such a wonderful experience! My consultant was super knowledgeable and was the one who ended up finding my dress. This was the first salon I visited, and they answered all my...
questions. It was busy that day, but I never felt crowded or rushed. Overall a great experience for me and my entourage!
I got my dress from RSVP Bride by Alan Evans. I had went to 3 different salons before this and tried on a dozen others. I saw a dress on a mannequin when we walked in and after try...
ing 3 other dresses, decided to try it on. I put it on and I felt like it could maybe me it, but the way that the stylists in the salon talked me up and made me feel confident in the dress won me over. After my appointment they even let my mom try a couple dresses on to see if there was any dresses she liked. The alterations they have in salon was super efficient and easy to get done on time. All the stylists in the salon were so helpful and polite.
I had a horrible experience with them. The place was packed with people, which during COVID made me incredibly uncomfortable. We were put in a poorly lit nook with a bunch of bride...
smaid dresses around so people were coming around while I was trying on dresses having their own conversations so I could barely hear what my friends were saying about the dress. The woman who was helping me brought me back to where they have the dresses and told me to pull what ones I liked. I expressed to her that I had a hard time knowing what type of dress I was looking at. She maybe pulled one dress for me and I was left to try and figure out the others on my own. The only dress I liked ended up being one that a friend of mine saw on display and we had to ask multiple times if I could try it on. The woman who helped me didn’t offer much help at all.
I’m just glad that this wasn’t my first experience looking for a dress because I was very disheartened by this appointment
Honest question, how is this place still open?
I ignored the negative reviews and gave it a shot myself, but that was a mistake. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ve...
ry rude, disrespectful, and very disorganized.
After placing and confirming my appointment, I still wasn’t on their schedule. Then they were rude to us during our whole ‘appointment’ after they messed up.
We wanted to leave as soon as we got there..
Their dresses were way to overpriced as well. You can find the same quality of dresses for HALF the price elsewhere. Wasn’t impressed..
With these prices, the quality of dresses and the quality of service should be a lot better!..
Since they opened their new location- the worst experience I have ever had and now they refuse to “provide any more services to me”because I dared complained about the customer ser...
vice. Walking into the store no one greeted me, I asked about the appointment and got "yeah someone will be with you. The attendant handed me the clipboard and I filled it out. She didn't look at it or help me pick out dresses. My mom and sister did. I watched other brides get better assistance. Some of it I wondered was because I was a plus size bride I did end up buying my dress and the bridesmaids dresses there. My mom also bought her dress there. I wasn't even offered to take a picture that I had found a dress had to ask for it. We had issues with the bridesmaids dresses not being ordered. Also had issues with wrong measurements. I went to pay for my dress and was told to take it home and no appointment was set up for alterations. When I asked any questions, I was dismissed or not called back. Today when I asked about alterations the manager on the phone was acting very off, said to me "who are you? " "What do you actually need" and then got all huffy at me when asking for my information. I then called back directly to ask for alterations. Later I got a call from the manager saying that we've had too many differences in opinions I was being refused any further service. So that leaves me with no alterations and they said that they could refuse me service even though I bought the dress with them. This all after I spent about 3000 dollars. I asked for an owner to call me back and I doubt the manager passed on that message. Worst customer service I have ever had and I say buyer please beware!
I had a mixed bag of experiences at Alan Evans. When I went there and found my dress, I had a wonderful consultant. She really listened to my feedback, and she helped me find a bel...
t to add to my dress to make it just that little bit extra special. I loved my dress and received a thousand compliments on it. I went back with my bridesmaids to get their dresses, and that experience was mixed. We went two times one to try on a lot of dresses and narrow it down a little, and another time to pick our the final bridesmaids dresses. The first appointment the consultant was very helpful, and the second time not so much. We were told poor information on when the dresses would get in which caused a lot of stress. We did get the dresses with plenty of time to get alterations taken care of so everything did work out. I went back one more time with my mom to find a mother of the bride dress. That turned into a disaster. We found a dress she really liked, but the sample was in black. The tag said it was available in silver so the consultant showed us a swatch and we ordered it. The dress arrived and it was light purple. Not remotely silver, and purple is my mom's least favorite color. She was so upset she went and bought a second dress.
My advice is to run from this place as fast as you can! They are bossy and money grubbing — anything but Minnesota nice, and déclassé. Find another place to dress for that special ...
day!
Would not recommend this store to ANY new brides. I only went to this store because I saw they had my dream dress in stock. Horrible customer service. I pulled my own dresses, and ...
my bridesmaids had to zip me up. My consultant was completely worthless and hungover. I made an appointment to try the dress I chose on again before I ordered it, called a couple days in advance to confirm, and woke up early on a Saturday, traveled 3 hours and made it by the time the doors opened, when I walked in they said "sorry I guess we sold that dress". I tried to keep calm and just ordered it anyway. The contract had the wrong color on it so I asked if they could reprint it with the right color before I signed, they said just sign it we have another appointment. When I called 5 months after ordering in August to check on the status (they said it would be 5-6 mos to get in) they said I could anticipate my dress arriving in MAY (9 mos after ordering). The month of my wedding. And had no explanation why. When the dress did come in I asked for a tracking number to ship it directly to me (there was no way I was going there to have them do alterations) they just ignored me and my wedding dress sat at my front door in the middle of a blizzard. Awful Awful experience.
WHAT AN AMAING EXPERIENCE!!!! Mandy and Rand were phenomenal to work with they went above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for! They worked together as a team to come up wit...
h THE perfect dress for me! Not only did they help me find the perfect dress but helped find the perfect accessories to complete my bridal look! I cannot give them enough praise as they helped me pick/try on several dresses and truly learned what I was looking for in a dress! Just when I thought I had found the one, Rand found a show stopper that just blew the other dresses away! I am head over heals in love with my dress and can’t wait to go back and visit Mandy, Rand, and Mark again during my fitting and bridesmaids fittings! Oh and I forgot to mention that they also helped me find the perfect bridesmaids dresses! I highly recommend shopping at Alan Evans Bridal! :)
Unless you're a size 0-10, don't even bother going here. I had an appointment with them recently and it was a massive joke. The consultant (if you can call her that) didn't even ...
introduce herself when she finally did show up and the dresses that were pulled were so unflattering and bulky and boring that I was almost in tears because I looked so awful. I had all of 8 dresses to even try on and they refused to pull anything else that even might have fit. My mom and I literally had to lie about liking a dress enough to "think about it" so we could get out because they were being so pushy. Thank God I was able to find a stunner at Lee Anne's where they are kind and have an actual selection for big girls like myself.
I've been to almost every Bridal Store in the area & We had more fun at Alan Evans. They have the biggest selection & you can tell the employees care about their customers. Thank y...

WEDDING DRESS DISASTER-worst experience
I purchased my daughter's wedding dress after we had the best time picking it out together. My daughter and I have dreamt of "that moment"...
since she was a little girl. When we ordered it, the sales associate said that it would arrive about five months later. We went ahead and purchased it, assured that it would come in that amount of time even though we custom ordered the coloring. We revisited the shop to try on the dress with more family and friends, since just my daughter and I went in the first time. When we came back as customers that had already made this big purchase, the manager, who was helping us, was curt and couldn't give us the time of day. My daughter also wanted to confirm when we were in again that the dress was on track to arrive in June. Mandy the manager stated that it was on track to be in during the month of August. We asked why this was pushed back and Mandy told us "it has always been scheduled to arrive in August". This was a blatant lie. Over the course of this purchase, we have caught the staff in several lies, none of which they have taken responsibility for. I would never return to this store for any purchase, and this horrible ordeal has tainted the dress experience for us.
I went into the shop with my son and his fiancé to address the poor customer service, belittling treatment, and late/bad quality dress that my son’s fiancé received. I was with my...
son’s fiancé when she tried on the dress for family and friends in March since we could not be there when she initially purchased it, and the dress that arrived was a different color than what was ordered. The owners, Rand and Mark, disputed this, stating that “this is the color the dress comes in”, but when my son’s fiancé produced the emails specifying the coloring information, Rand said that their sales associate (who is also the manager) should never have said the dress comes in this color. They confirmed the dress was the wrong color by stating that bodices can be dyed to the right color, while also denying that there was anything wrong with the dress. When I commented on the bad craftsmanship and unfinished details on the bodice, Rand stated that “we were the first ones to ever notice that” but also that they do not carry the brand anymore “… but not because of the quality”. For a nearly $2000 dress, the quality was terrible and the customer service was worse. I would never come back to this establishment except to get back the deposit they are refusing to refund.
Rand and his team were so helpful! From start to finish they were awesome!
I am not a person easily upset. My experience with the purchase of my wedding dress from this business was beyond appalling. The dress was months late. The bodice was the wrong ...
color. It was damaged, with netting that was unfinished, and edges of the appliques were frayed. Mandy, the manager, refused to do anything when I called over the course of several months. They couldn’t tell me where the dress was made or coming from and couldn’t provide any shipping or tracking information. I purchased the dress on January 6 and it was initially supposed to arrive in June. It came on October 24. Details of the contract were somehow changed without them telling me, and they refused to provide it until I came into the store, and even then they would not provide it without significant resistance. Alan Evans still has my $850 deposit, and they said they would never refund it but “we could do the court thing”. They know I need a dress. They left me an in an extreme time crunch. I went to the store, asked to discuss with the owners, Rand and Mark, and they went ballistic. In my life, I have never spoken to in a such demeaning way. I was called names, and they said that brides are just “vulnerable, emotional, anxious, and hysterical, and they forget what their dresses look like”. This company should not be in business. Something is really wrong here.
I bought my wedding dress at Alan Evans, had all my bridesmaids order their dresses through them, and had all of the guys’ suits rented there. Everything came in timely and Vickie ...
was super helpful with the men’s attire. They outsource Holly for their alterations and she did an amazing job as well!

y of, and after adding a bustle it was a breeze to dance in! My only complaints were that I had an appointment at 4 PM on a Friday and I felt rushed at the end of my visit to make a decision. I also did not like that I was unable to send photos to my mom who was unable to be with me on this visit and missed out on me picking my dress, however understandable to protect the designs of the dresses. Overall, a positive experience and a good sale that led me to the perfect dress.
My consultant was hilarious, honest, and super knowledgeable of the dresses! In fact, the dress I went home with was the dress she picked out! Now I know why so many people recomme...

ding me dresses when I didn't like the ones I chose for myself.
Bridesmaids: This was not a great experience. The girl who was working down there didn't do anything to direct us towards dresses that fit the criteria I had. My bridesmaids had to look around, and ask her to several times to get up to help. Even though we would have gotten a discount, we felt that it was so unprofessional that we went to another vendor to buy all six bridesmaid dresses.
Great and helpful staff. They encourage you to try on dresses you wouldn't normally choose, while also pulling the ones you're hoping to try one. The gowns are so beautiful and so ...
well made. They really make you feel like it's all about you. It was a beautiful experience. Rand helped me. It was amazing. Everything was amazing.
The selection & quality of dresses is fantastic. I did have some issues with our consultant however after a previous review they reached out to me to apologize & make things right....
I have already made a few appointment at other bridal stores however I will give Allan Evans another shot if I do not find a dress. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am by their customer service.
I found my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses at Alan Evans and they were MORE than perfect. They have so many designer dresses, and the dress that I tried on was actually design...
ed by Rand Evans! I was the FIRST person to try on that dress since it JUST came that day, and I went home with it! The material of the dress was exactly what I was looking for. It fit me perfectly! I wish I could go back and relive the moment because it was everything I ever wanted for my dress and experience!
When I came to this Bridal shop, I did not know what I wanted but that was okay because working with Rand was great! He helped me find my dream dress and it as under budget!
I didn't plan on buying my wedding dress at the first place that I shopped at, but wow. I went to Alan Evans and was treated like a queen. They didn't make me feel bad because I ha...

ou pay that day in store with cash and I could buy the dress of the rack, so that helped too! I was very lucky to get my dress at the price that I did, but it would have been worth the full price for sure!
Though I didn't end up buying my dress at Allan Evans I would highly recommend this vendor. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgable and will go the extra mile to find what yo...
u're looking for. This is a great place to shop if you want something unique since a lot of the dresses are custom made by their in-house designer.
I purchased my dress from Allen Evans and absolutely loved it. I didn't like the corset back, but Holly, the alterations person, was able to take it out and add a zipper with rhine...
stone buttons. They were easy to work with and everything on my dress turned out perfectly!
I loved my dress. Did have minor rips and tears by the end of the night.
Easy to work with. So many options!!
WONDERFUL service! Loved working with them, both for wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses.

It was a pleasant experience working with everyone. Very helpful in finding my style of dress.
I ordered my dress July 2012. The store told me I could expect my dress to come in by December 2012. In February 2013, my dress was still not in (April 2013 wedding day)and when I ...
called to check the store told me it could be anywhere from here to China. The consultants had very poor customer services. Additionally, the consultant I worked with encouraged me to get a dress size bigger, even though the sample in the store fit me perfect (zipper in the back). I ordered one size bigger and when I initially got my dress I swam in it. My dress ended up being perfect on the wedding day, but the store definitely caused me unwanted stress.
I actually went to the Sioux Falls store. I had just the best time picking out my dress! I got as much personal attention as I wanted during the whole process. They even remembered...
me when I came back later for bridesmaid desses and other accessories! I highly recommend this shop!!
Quality of dress, veil, and headpiece was amazing. The customer service was not so hot. My maid of honor's dress was ordered 8 months in advance and didn't even arrive till 2 days ...
before our wedding. The consultants dd not seem to make you feel like you were their number one priority.
Nice place the lady that helped me was fantastic and so are the owners, but some of the other ladies that work there aren't very professional.
The sales person was very helpful in picking out dresses, but not always in my selected price range. The dresses were gorgeous, and the designer was in the store that day.
From the moment we stepped into the store, it was a magical experience. We got our own private dressing room and assistant. My parents and I got to shop the racks and check out the...
different dress styles. There was no limit to how many dresses I wanted to try. Our assistant was so friendly...just kept bringing me more dresses and hauling out the ones I didn't like. When I found "THE ONE," they brought me into a special room with more evening-type lighting so I could imagine what the dress would look like in a church setting. Talk about TEAR-SESSION! This was a great store and a FABULOUS place to buy my one-of-a-kind designer dress!

The gowns at Alan Evans Bridal are beautifully unique. The price is a bit high, but I bought mine off the rack and saved an automatic 25%. I definitely recommend Alan Evans!
My maid of honor purchased her dress from Alan Evans. The sales staff was pleasant to work with and the color of the dress was identical to the swatch.

They had an excellent selection of dresses and were very helpful. Dresses were expensive-didn't have much lower price dresses. I loved my dress from there though
Alan Evans Bridal was first and final choice in purchasing my wedding gown. They give the full bridal experience from a consultation, fittings, and more. You really get one-on-one...
attention from a consultant, not like the nationwide chain stores. The staff at Alan Evans was more than accommodating. They let me "personalize" my dress by removing details and adding others. You feel more than comfortable with the staff. I never felt pressured into buying something that wasn't "me" or was out of my price range. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alan Evans to any bride-to-be!
My dress turned out exactly how I wanted it! It couldn't have been more perfect! They have so many different styles to choose from!
I purchased my wedding dress from here. The service from the staff was amazing and my dress was beautiful! The only down fall to this vendor is their alterations lady. I would n...
ot recomend allowing her to touch your dress. She was rude and dirty. When I picked up my dress it was covered in dirt spots, had needles still stuck in it, and their were string stuck all over in the tule of my dress.
