During the trial, she had me try both airbrush and regular foundation, which allowed me to pick which I wanted to go with after seeing how it looks. That was very helpful, as I had assumed airbrush would be better but ended up liking regular so much more! For the wedding day, we had Aki and also her partner Hiroko, as we had 5 people getting ready together for both hair and makeup. They not only arrived on time but also finished on time, which my wedding planners and photographers were very happy about. My bridesmaids were of various skin tones, and she and her partner Hiroko did a phenomenal job with each of them. Everyone had very different hair too (short, long, wavy, thin, etc), and Aki and Hiroko were able to work their magic on all of us! We danced all night long and everyone’s makeup and hair looked flawless throughout. Given the amount of jumping up and down I did, I was really blown away by how my hair (half up half down) stayed exactly as she left it. I typically never leave reviews but wanted to leave this one for Aki, as it was hard for me to find a makeup artist I felt like I could trust, and am truly so grateful I found Aki. Besides her excellent work, she was easy to communicate with and a true pleasure to work with. She even gave me a bunch of tips for every-day makeup! Thank you Aki!
