AKhappenings

hes to take a plane to a glacier. Two days before the elopement the plane company had to cancel due to weather, I was nervous that our day would be ruined. AKhappenings made sure that did not happen and replanned the day to go out on a boat followed by an intimate picnic, baring the weather herself to officiate and make sure the day was the best of our live's! I highly recommend AKhappenings for your events.

ress free. Jordan listened to everything I wanted and had the best vendors. I wouldn't change a thing!

e in person. Jordan helped plan all of this and the rest of our big day from over 4,000 miles away. She was able to give us honest recommendations on venues based on our vision and personalities and her connections in the Alaskan wedding network allowed us to have plenty of vendors to choose from. Throughout the planning process, Jordan was a calming and encouraging presence. She answered all of our questions, listened to all of our worries and helped us problem-solve the few times we needed to. We had a bartender fall through shortly before our wedding and Jordan was able to connect us to a new vendor on very short notice who was phenomenal. As our wedding day got closer, Jordan went above and beyond to help our day go smoothly - picking up rentals, staying longer to help breakdown, etc. We are forever grateful to her for helping our dream day come true. Also just to note, she helped us plan our wedding WHILE PLANNING HERS and still managed to make our day go off without a hitch. If you're on the fence about hiring someone, we couldn't recommend Jordan more.

live in Anchorage). She truly is a seasoned professional when it comes to all things wedding and event related. She gave great recommendations for other vendors, provided unique ideas, she has great connections, and just in general is a wealth of knowledge. She was gracious to collaborate with leading up to that weekend, and on the day of, I didn't worry about a thing; she effortlessly (or what she made look effortless) brought everything together. Also - she won't shy away from a pickle back and knows how to have (and create) a good time! Our wedding was an absolute dream, and I am so thankful that Jordan was there to guide us along. Thanks Jordan!

e else we’d rather have used for our wedding! It was 1000% worth it and will be a day we will always remember!

for our special day. She exceeded our expectations and our wedding day was perfect. Thank you so much Jordan!

ery important decision since we knew it would make a big difference in whether or not we were able to enjoy the months leading up to it and our day. We could not be more grateful that we were able to hire Jordan at AKhappenings and to use her expertise. She has so much experience and knows how to professionally work with clients while having a fun personality. Our wedding would not have been as beautiful, detailed or enjoyable without AKhappenings. We are so thrilled she was part of our day and would recommend her to everyone getting married.

ed unreal. The details were very on point with their personality and as guests we were in awe. We have attended tons of weddings and nothing compared to this one. Jordan truly provided unparalleled service. If you are looking for a wedding or elopement planner in Alaska I highly recommend AKhappenings

te some of our toughest decisions and some of the more ordinary ones (always iron/steam your tablecloths!). As an LGBTQ+ couple, we were so grateful for how she treated us with all the respect and care with which she treats all of her customers. You will not regret hiring Jordan!

erything ran smoothly. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and had clearly been planned meticulously. Every detail was thought of and my friends (bride and groom) raved about working with Jordan throughout the whole process. My boyfriend and I 100% plan to hire AKhappenings as soon as I get engaged!

y had a GREAT time instead of being put to work. Jordan and her team made those dreams come true way beyond our wildest expectations. She paid attention to details that I didn't even know existed. Every word you said, she made it happen. Everyone says it because it's true, "SOMETHING will go wrong on your wedding day". Rest assured if you hire the AK Happenings Crew, what can go wrong will be handled before you even know it. Thanks for making our wedding come alive Jordan! We had SO much fun with you!

- and wow am I glad I didn't have to deal with things like linens, table placements, vendor questions/concerns, and decorating/clean-up by myself.

fe. If you are someone who thinks you don't need a wedding planner, think again and choose very carefully! Jordan is a top-notch planner and I am so lucky to have worked with her. She makes you feel as though she has everything 100% under control (because she does). Trust me, you want to hire her as planner!! Jordan designs every part of a wedding so creatively and I loved everything she came up with. She respects couples input and adds her special designer eye to my your own. Every bit of the process is enjoyable!”
