Where to begin describing a place that holds such an incredibly special place in my heart…
The moment I first reached out to Amy at Agape Oaks, I immediately felt like I was specia...l. She made the entire experience of being at Agape Oaks more enjoyable than I could have imagined! Troy, the property manager who I consider a friend, was absolutely fantastic from day one! The venue didn’t just feel like a place that was hosting my wedding, it truly felt like home the very first moment I went there, till the last day I was there cleaning up. I wanted to be there all the time the week of my wedding. I highly recommend renting the property out even if you’re a local, it truly is magical and puts you in the best head space while trying to plan a wedding. We got married in January of 2026 and it was one of the coldest days to have an outdoor wedding, but even the cold and the wind didn’t upset me because the atmosphere of being at Agape Oaks just made everything perfect. The water, the nature, the history of this place is worth a day trip out there to just appreciate it all. I would love to go back and see how the property changes with the seasons. The house itself is one of a kind, you walk in and feel the inviting hug the home gives to its new visitors. From the creaking wood stairs to the intricate woodwork around the fireplace and the views from the upstairs seating area windows, it’s a feeling you have to experience in person to truly appreciate it. Not to mention the most gorgeous wedding photos that can be taken inside the house! The flexibility and kindness that both Amy and Troy gave to me through the entire wedding process is something I will always be grateful for. Agape Oaks isn’t just a venue for events in my opinion, it’s a special place that takes you out of the everyday routine and allows you to breath and relax. It’s a hidden gem that I feel lucky enough to have experienced, and it will always be the place that witnessed me and my husband become one and for that I am truly grateful!
