the best band they have ever seen at a wedding. By the time the night was over, our guest were chanting "ENCORE"! I wish we would've booked them for another hour. They were amazing at playing and singing. Their energy was incredible. I want to have another wedding just to hire After 8 Band again. I spoke to Russ about what songs I did want and didn't want and he curated it perfectly to where every single guest had songs that they knew and loved no matter what age! My grandpa who can barely walk and is in a wheelchair was standing up to dance and sing because he loved the music so much. You will not be disappointed if you use After 8 Band at whatever event you are planning! They were amazing about communicating and hearing my preferences before the event and they were amazing and made me (the bride) feel like a freaking queen! Thank you guys so much. We continue to get texts saying how amazing our wedding was and how incredible the band was! It was the best night of our lives and yall helped make that happen! We are so grateful!! As two musicians from San Francisco getting married in New Orleans, we had a few unique logistics to navigate, but the After8 team made everything seamless. Working with Russ throughout the planning process was wonderful. He was responsive, helpful, and always quick to find solutions if any issues came up. The band was so accommodating and flexible, learning a couple of new songs for our reception and even allowing me and my band to borrow their instruments so I could perform an original song I wrote for my husband. They also learned our first dance song, which turned out absolutely beautiful. Brandon did an amazing job singing it, and the rest of the band played it flawlessly. To top it all off, they even backed my husband and me on another song we wanted to perform together (without any rehearsal!), and it ended up being a total hit. After8 made our night truly unforgettable, and we can’t recommend them highly enough!!!

I worked with Russ throughout the process and he was helpful, professional, and acted like a true partner ensuring that my vision / goals were achieved, while also providing his professional opinion and feedback (which I 1000% appreciated and welcomed). formance was superb! All of my guests asked how we found them and said they were the best wedding band they had ever heard! I relied on reviews to narrow down the band selection for my NOLA destination wedding and hired After8 without ever hearing them play live. I watched videos of their performances and trusted that they would deliver the same level of performance at my wedding and THEY DID! Big relief for me. All praise to this professional band who at the basic level, does their job reliably and on time, but also on a higher level, gives an amazing performance that all my guests were raving about. Check their website for an extensive song list. Per the contract I got, they will also learn 2 additional songs for your wedding that aren't already their song list. This was perfect for us because our first dance and father/daughter dance songs weren't already on their list, but we got to add them. (PS wedding venue was Latrobe's on Royal, which I also recommend HIGHLY).

Everyone at the wedding began dancing immediately because of the energy and great music!!! The events coordinator for Bayou Desiard Country Club even stated they want to hire this band to come in for a special event for the members. My family and friends could not say enough great things about the band and how much fun they were having!!!!

We also used them for ceremony music and a cocktail jazz quartet, and were so happy we did. The ceremony wouldn't have been the same without them. Michael took care of us and my wife's sometimes demanding needs for what songs to play, and played them to perfection. Definitely recommend!

un all night long. Many of our guests were not from New Orleans, as we have family and friends all over. My side of the family is from Chicago, and live bands are just not very popular there. However, my wife and I wanted to showcase the talent of the local music scene and give all of our guests a taste of New Orleans. After 8 absolutely delivered on all fronts - the musicianship, the vocals, the energy, had all of our guests raving about the band! It's been over a week since our wedding already, and we are still getting texts from family and friends about how good this band was. If you are looking for a wedding band that will get your crowd moving, look no further! This band is AMAZING!
