If I could recommend the perfect DJ for any event, I would recommend DJ D every time. He is extremely communicative and will never leave any questions unanswered. It was a plus that he had been to my wedding venue for a previous wedding, and he had everything planned out perfectly as far as what he needed to do, when to do it and how to do it. My family is extremely chaotic and that didn’t faze him at all. Everyone loved him and the energy he brought during mine and my husband’s perfect day. He also isn’t the kind of vendor to only ever want to talk about business - he likes to actually get to know you and your family which we really loved!

Hello, my name is Dennis Chaney (DJ D) of Afford-A-DJ, based in Hamilton, OH. I consider it a privilege to play weddings for people. I started Afford-A-DJ to help people get more for their money. I'm always there early and the last to leave. My price even includes playing the ceremony if needed. One thing I don't do is charge for setup time or tear-down time, only charging for the hours played. I do, however, charge extra for weddings over 25 miles from home. With 2 portable PA units, one with a wireless microphone, I can do ceremonies even where there is no electricity. I will put together an itinerary, a playlist, captains call, announcements, and an MC for the night. I have a great sound system, some over-the-top lights, and wireless mics for the announcements. I've been playing music for most of my life, and I like giving people a DJ who does everything at a reasonable rate.

Back in the 60's I was a speed skater, so I know my way around a skating rink. While being at the rink pretty much all the time, as I got older I started floor guarding and playing the music. This came natural to me, so I did it all the time. Music became a part of my life all the way to the present. The 70's was the best rock, the 80's the best dance music, and now some of the new stuff is good also. As a Dj I can play which ever genre or music you wish to hear, or I have go to music that get people dancing. As you can tell I've been doing this in some form or another for a long time, Thanks.
