From directing vendors, to decorating, to helping serve food and making sure our guests were taken care, to cleaning up after the event, she left nothing to be desired. What impressed us most was how much she genuinely cared about making our wedding exactly how we envisioned it. Marcella listened carefully to what was most important to us and focused on making every detail come together. She remained calm, positive, professional, and incredibly resourceful, never balking at our requests or giving up on ideas before finding solutions. My husband and I feel we got way more value from the service than what we were expecting, and we would recommend Marcrlla and Affordable Luxe Events to anyone planning a wedding in the Lexington or Louisville areas.

She helped with both the big-picture coordination and the small details, from logistics and setup to making sure the tables were right and every seat had wedding favors. She was also thoughtful about helping us find ways to save money during the process, which we really appreciated. She went above and beyond in ways we didn’t expect — including calling in favors at the Omni after learning we were staying there on our wedding night. She also stayed until the very end of the reception to make sure we got where we needed to go and took home leftovers, wedding cake, and anything else we needed. Jill truly cared, and it showed. We’re very grateful for her and would highly recommend her.

At several points during the night I realized, “Oh—someone else has this handled,” and that peace of mind is priceless when you’re hosting a big event. On top of being incredibly capable, Jill’s staff was friendly, positive, and professional. Our guests commented multiple times on how much they loved the team and how great their attitudes were. Jill and her crew allowed me to actually enjoy my own party, which is not something I’ve been able to do in the past.
