sending her the deposit before she got back to me with booking a trial. I never got a contract to sign or much information at all. She did my makeup trial and I was not pleased with the look. When she didn’t get back to me with some skincare recommendations, I started to feel weird so I canceled my booking and went with a different vendor. I never saw the $100 deposit. After wasting $200 and my time, I’m still glad I ended up cancelling because days before my wedding I started reading multiple posts on Facebook about how this woman ghosted people on their wedding day and took their money. So unprofessional and an awful thing to do! Shame on her and I hope the Knot pulls her from the list of vendors.

She texts me on 9/7 asking if we could move my 9/20 makeup trial to another time, we DID NOT have a trial booked this day or had ever discussed having one this day. I had one booked with my hair stylist, who use to work with her, so Andrea offered a complimentary second trial, that we booked at that time for 9/20 at 10AM, as her salon was only 10 minutes from my 11AM appointment with my hair stylist. Regarding payment; note per contract I signed, it says payment is not due until 1 week before event, which my event is 10/10/2026. On 9/8 she texts me saying payment is due on 9/10, and it "slipped her mind" to remind me. I was confused, and advised her with a reminder short notice I would have to inform my girls, and we would get it to her by 9/18. I said this before I remembered my contract said 1 week. So, we agree on 9/18. I go into my contract and text her like hey, actually my contract says 1 week which is 10/3. and she claims this is an old contract, and that me and one other bride received this in error and she changed the clause due to being scammed. out of good faith, I made a $720 payment to get that off my plate. When asking for the payment she was hounding me, saying she was running errands for her mother and medication is expensive, like she was waiting on that payment for this, unprofessional. We chat on Friday night, 9/18 and she says she can't wait for my trial. Come 9/20 at 9:25am I text her saying I was on my way as the salon was about 35 minutes away. No response. I get to the salon, text her 3 times, message her on fb, call her, and call the salon. Nothing, I leave after waiting 40 minutes. I don't hear back from her until 2:30pm saying she had me in her books for 9/21. I ignore this as I'm busy. She then proceeds to call me, message me on fb twice, and text me 6 times. One message saying I am not due for a refund as it's "too close" to my wedding, and she needs 30 days notice of cancellation. At this time I had not officially cancelled with her. I made it known she broke her own contract and I am entitled to a full refund. Since I have texted her 3 times giving her a chance to resolve what she has done, and have been ignored. Absolutely do not book with her.

I was extremely happy with how my makeup turned out and my bridal party also loved their makeup looks. Andrea was so patient with me as I worked out the logistics of the wedding morning and our getting ready schedule. I also went to Andrea for skin treatments before the wedding to help with some acne scarring and I noticed my skin noticeably improved. Andrea is a delight and any bride would be lucky to work with her!!
