Congrats on your engagement!
Adam Jamsa Wedding Officiant / Reverend, based in Chillicothe, IL, offers officiant services for weddings.
It has been a wonderful journey providing customized wedding ceremonies & services for nearly 1,000 couples over the last 15 years. I work with a couple as a team to collaborate and craft a unique ceremony that captures their relationship and values, and one that their family and friends will appreciate and enjoy. I offer free consultations and unlimited meetings/communication to all my clients. I encourage each couple to implement their personal touch to their ceremony and offer unlimited revisions of the ceremony until it truly captures the message they wish to convey.
In addition to crafting, officiating, and signing/turning in the marriage license, we offer rehearsal coordination and full ceremony coordination pending availability. My wife, Carolyn, a wedding consultant and coordinator on her own, can be there to fully coordinate the ceremony, send the party down the aisle, and take care of the "little things."

ely put us at ease and he crafted a ceremony that truly reflected our love story, after having several sessions to go over our background. Adam took time to understand our values and incorporated personal touches that made the ceremony uniquely ours. We are a nontraditional couple, and that was never an issue with Adam and he made us feel comfortable and important throughout the entire process.
His eloquence and ability to capture the essence of our relationship left a lasting impression on both us and the guests. Guests asked even if we had known him already or if he was a family friend because he knew and captured so well who we were and our story. We are incredibly grateful to Adam for officiating our union with such grace and sincerity, and we wholeheartedly recommend his services to couples seeking a personalized and memorable wedding ceremony
I had only ever been to weddings where it was someone's friend officiating for the couple, and moreso just as a utility, so didn't realize how powerful and beautiful having a professional wedding officiant would be. I would highly recommend to any couple to have a professional officiant, especially Adam Jamsa!
Adam was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. He was very open to feedback on his speech and willing to tailor it to the type of ceremony we were comfortable having (...
i.e., less religious).
When trying to find a reading or something to include to make sure the ceremony was a good length, I had this idea to use one of my own poems, and Adam really embraced it. He said it'd offer the perfect personal touch, and he was right - the guests really loved the poem!
We highly recommend Adam (and the entire Guys on the Radio team). We're so grateful to him for making this part of the wedding absolutely seamless.

of my questions (even some I didn’t know I had) with his knowledge & professionalism.
I would highly recommend Adam no matter what your religious beliefs are. He can accommodate anyone!
Since he is very detail oriented (which is amazing), just be prepared to reply to his lengthy emails to ensure every detail is covered! He is very organized & makes sure everything is perfect on the special day. So make sure you take time to finalize details.

gh, and added a lot of personality to our special day! His questionnaire getting to know us allowed him to fine tune our ceremony so perfectly, it was like he’s known us for years. We cried reading the first draft of the ceremony because it was so spot on and emotional. Adam helped me through the process of obtaining a license and was always available for questions. I’m thankful he was prompt with responses because I’ve never handled steps leading up to an elopement :)
The days leading up to the ceremony, he sent a final draft (we had ZERO changes!), and he met us in the garden right on schedule. My husband said while he was standing alone with Adam, that Adam said “Mike, I LOVE love, and that’s why I’m here.” 🥺 Our ceremony was exactly as we imagined and more- we are thankful Adam made it intimate and special for us! We had lots of laughs and some tears. Highly recommend him for your day.

. He really takes the time to get to know the couple and capture every single detail of the relationship. He is so easy to work with and he was truly my rock on my wedding day (especially when we got rained on and couldn’t have the ceremony outside, he gave me peace of mind). I couldn’t imagine having anyone else be such a big part of our day! I would highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for an officiant that truly cares about the value and beauty in marriage. If we could give 10 stars we would haha. Thank you again Adam!

We were so delighted to have her there and for her help on our special day as well! Adam made us feel extremely comfortable and felt like a past friend! I 110% recommend Adam!!

nicating with us via phone and email to craft the perfect ceremony. He sent us questions that we answered independently so that he could get a better idea of who we were and our journey together. After this, he crafted a rough draft of our ceremony and from there the process was just perfect. He made it to where our guests were able to hear our journey together as a couple, but also tie in our faith and other elements we felt important to our wedding ceremony. Adam also went the extra mile and met with us for coffee in-person, giving us the opportunity to get to know him better and for him to do the same with us. We received so many compliments on our ceremony and Adam’s enthusiasm. He knew how important this piece was to our wedding and made it absolutely perfect. We would recommend Adam to anyone for their wedding and will forever be grateful for the ceremony he created!

As a bonus, we also found a forever friend in him. Adam, we could never thank you enough!
