Active Entertainment

zing and it was 100% that way because of Joe and his bad ass skills! From the start of planning our day all the way up to the day his communication with us, attention to detail, giving us ideas and pointers we never would have thought of was top notch. There is no other dj in this area I would recommend but this one. His prices are affordable and what he brings to the day makes every dollar well spent. We had the elite package and it was phenomenal! We had a rain issue with our ceremony and last minute had to move and adjust to indoors and besides our guests being soaked you would have never known adjustments at the literal last second had to be made because of joe! During the reception we had an issue with my dress and the bustle that took way too long to deal with and instead of our guests sitting their bored wondering what the heck was going on Joe kept the party going like nothing was wrong in the hallway with my dress. I could write 10 pages of how awesome Joe and his company are but no one has time to read all that so trust me and my husband when we say you won’t be sorry hiring him for any of your events. I will also add that Joe checked on me and my husband more times in the night than my husband and maid of honor did! He just is an amazing man and outstanding at what he does. There wasn’t a dull or boring moment, there wasn’t a person not dancing or having fun. Everyone of our guests complimented on how fun our wedding was and what an awesome DJ we had! To you Joe, we will forever be thankful and grateful for everything you did for us thru the 6 months of planning right up to the big day. Your truly an amazing DJ but most of all you’re an amazing person!

....

astinate like we did). Communication was good- had an hour long phone call to plan everything ahead of time, and he checked in with us several times between then and the day. The DJ did a great job expanding on the song selections we sent within our (somewhat eclectic) musical taste and getting the mostly non-dancing crowd at my wedding moving.

will receive the complete experience. There are so many different packages that are perfect for weddings of all shapes and sizes, and Joe and his team will do their absolute best to keep the guests engaged, dancing, and having the time of their lives on the dancefloor. Joe is very responsive and works so great with our team every time he is here. I highly recommend!

th was phenomenal also!

lped my husband and I have a fantastic and as stress-free wedding experience as possible! He engaged with the attendees and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves! 10/10 would hire him for any future event!

e up and dancing, Professional & Fun... We highly recommend this company..

tails that meant the world to us, having Active Entertainment go over every detail and make it exactly as we wanted was a dream come true. Our guests are still talking about the night! Thank you Active Entertainment for your expertise, advise and being a part of our story!

ry personal…. Loved how he made the guests feel special with his games and made first few dances very emotional for all.. received tons of compliments from guests. Photo Booth was also very successful at the wedding.. good memories from their service and highly recommend❤️❤️

eting with Joe to go over the plan of event events, and music preferences, to the actual reception. Joe met with me one on one and we went over everything that I wanted to do and he recommended. He was also a very quick and efficient communicator prior to the meeting. He made it super easy and I was able to voice all of my opinions. Joe even matched the DJs (Jason and Brad) to the style of music that we were looking for. Also, the paperwork that they give you for song requests is quite easy. On the day of my wedding, the DJs were very professional. Jason and Brad were amazing and played everything I wished and asked, for. They also were able to read the room and play songs that the crowd was getting hyped up to. As the bride, they played every song I asked for and they played it immediately. They were also very organized. Without them my reception would’ve probably been a disorganized mess. Heck, they even remembered that I wanted to say something before tossing the bouquet and I didn’t. LOL! Not only were they a great company to work with, but they also were at a very reasonable price. My wedding was at one of their preferred venues and I got a great deal. But even without having a preferred venue deal, they were still very affordable. I would recommend active entertainment to any person who is looking to find a great DJ for any event. I’ve seen them at the Walleye Festival and at other wedding events and they do an amazing job. Go with Active!!

, and we're so happy that we did. Planning was incredibly thorough, making all the day-of affairs easier to manage. Joe took all our requests and changes in stride, and the frequent check-ins through dinner made all the execution seamless. He even advocated with a local photobooth company to honor Active's price for booth equipment when their system went down a week before our wedding. We highly recommend anyone in Michigan to use Active Entertainment!

as electric, the song choices were spot-on, and the transitions were seamless. He knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept everyone on their feet the entire night. Not only was the music incredible, but DJ Joe was also a true professional—punctual, friendly, and easy to work with. He took the time to understand our preferences and created a vibe that perfectly matched the atmosphere we wanted. If you’re looking for a DJ who will bring the party to life and make your event unforgettable, look no further than DJ Joe at active entertainment! We can’t wait to book them again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!

. Rio was easy and personable to work with and really listened to the type of vibe we wanted to create. Thanks, Rio, for making our reception everything we could ever have hoped for.

ad and Jason kept people coming back to the dance floor! They checked in with me multiple times to make sure I was ready for whatever fun event was up next before getting started. I would absolutely hire them again for future events!

ng we picked a great DJ! Thanks Joe!

rsonal bar tender .. he made the night so personable. He combined my 2000's hip-hop/r&b with my husbands hispanic roots perfectly!

Joe!! Definitely would recommend him and his company over and over!

ions and were very knowledgeable on what would work and what wouldn't. I appreciated the communication / coordination they had with my officiant and photographer so there was nothing extra I needed to do the day of. They did an amazing job keeping our guests engaged, laughing and dancing. I trusted them and put my wedding in their hands, and they completely exceeded every expectation. The dance floor was FULL the entire night and all guests were having so much fun that I ended up extending our bar service to keep the party going. I received so many compliments from guests that it was the best party/wedding they had ever been to! My wedding wouldn't have been the same without them!

ng the party. Next party we have will definitely be with them!

everyone else. They were wonderful start to finish and very reasonably priced. They really did make the day 100X better than it would have been without them. It is totally worth the money to just get a DJ, and if you can get Active Entertainment as your DJ way better!!

uests throughly enjoyed the entertainment. I would recommend them to anyone for their wedding or other big events!

and kept everyone dancing and the crowd laughing. We had so many people come up to us and said it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding. We also rented their Photo Booth which was a huge hit as well. If you’re looking for a dj, look no further, active entertainment is the best of the best.

sic was on spot and I couldn’t have asked for anything better! We will be recommending Dj Joe and his team to anyone and everyone for any kind of occasion! Thank you for everything Joe!

place down and did not want to leave! I loved the Photo Booth and being able to look at all the photos after the fact (we ended up doing a Congo line and got everyone in the Photo Booth!). Because of having Active Entertainment as our DJ it was by far the best day of my life and I would recommend them to anyone! We have also had many friends and family tell us that was the best wedding they have been to and it was so much fun. If I could do my wedding another time and have Active Entertainment as my DJ again I would!

ecked in with my husband and I multiple times throughout the night. I highly recommend active entertainment!

s a hit! I had lots of my family members coming up to me after the wedding telling me how much fun they had and that it was the best wedding they had been to in a while, saying how inclusive the DJ was and how he was always trying to get people on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend!

our ceremony and reception! There was never a boring moment and you made everyone have the most fun they've had in years! We love you guys and can't thank you enough for going above and beyond!!!! Thanks Joe for making our night unforgettable- we'll never forget everything you did for us!!!!!

y expectation and wish that we had got our dream wedding

floor packed all night. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

ded. From the moment we reached out, their knowledge and dedication to detail truly set them apart. Joe at Active not only accommodated our requests but also went above and beyond to ensure our event was a resounding success. Their expertise in music selection and understanding of the atmosphere we wanted to create was evident. Their attention to detail was remarkable, from seamlessly transitioning between songs to coordinating with other vendors. They left no stone unturned in making sure our event was a memorable one. But what truly stood out was their genuine commitment to making our event special. They listened to our ideas and incorporated them flawlessly into the evening. It was evident that they were just as invested in our event's success as we were. Our guests have only had great things to say about our reception. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ service for our special day. If you're looking for a DJ service that is not only knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and accommodating but also a pleasure to work with, we definitely recommend Active Entertainment. They made our event unforgettable, and we're extremely grateful for their exceptional service. Thank you for everything!

dances and cake cutting timelines. Everyone from the company has lots of experience and are very pleasant to work with! The party was amazing and one of our favorite mementoes of the night.

e’s the best DJ they’ve seen. He really made my wedding awesome!!

l night and was so much fun and interactive! Thank you so much for hosting and I recommend this vendor for DJ!! If you hire him, you will not be disappointed. 5 stars!!

ed us questions and was very responsive! They were great!

not disappoint you! He did a beautiful set up with his lighting and keeping guests involved. He went above what was expected of a DJ. We want to have a summer party just to hire him again!

ent for our guest! Without good entertainment, the party dies down and we wanted to make sure it was the party of the year that our guest wouldn't forget! We had 3 different vendors lined up and Active Entertainment came thru for us, from start to finish! Joe & his staff were the absolute best decision to hire for our BIG day. Active entertainment has so many packages to choose from, pricing is very reasonable and they are amazing to work with. They are organized and give you their all. Active entertainment not only provided DJ for our reception but for our ceremony, as well as full up lighting of our ballroom, photobooth services and my absolute favorite " Dancing on a Cloud ". All the staff are outgoing, they like to have a good time with the guest.. our DJ had went out on the floor and danced with us, and he took a video of mine and my husband's last dance of the night, knowing our back ground with the song, the video is truly something I will forever get to watch! I am 100% sure that you will not regret booking with Active Entertainment! They were the absolute best entertainment. So glad we choose them!

the music. Also, Joe was very professional and great to work with during the planning process.
