Absolute Beauty by Wendy

showed me examples I loved. The final result was flawless. I received compliments all day, and every bridesmaid, my mom, and my mother-in-law felt confident and gorgeous. They were punctual and finished early, so we got to enjoy the process without feeling rushed. Absolutely recommend.

and feel, but she took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process.

wanted for a while. Wendy was always willing to try new ideas I would have in our trials even when I changed my mind which I was very appreciative of. On the day of our wedding, Wendy brought two amazing assistants with her to do hair and makeup for 12 women, with myself included. They were absolutely wonderful and everyone in my party was very happy with how everything turned out. We went with natural makeup which turned out beautifully on everyone. Wendy, Connie, and Marlene also completed all of our looks well ahead of our timeline, which we greatly appreciated as it gave us more time for pictures and getting ready. I highly recommend working with Wendy and her team and could not have anything better to say about her!

ding day. Every single look they created for the bridal party was absolutely stunning and tailored perfectly to each person. As a bride with naturally curly hair, finding someone who could truly work with my curls instead of against them was so important to me — and Wendy exceeded every expectation. She enhanced my natural texture beautifully, and my hair looked elegant, soft, and completely me. It held up perfectly throughout the entire day while still feeling natural and comfortable. The makeup was flawless on everyone and photographed beautifully without feeling heavy. Wendy and Marlenne are both so talented, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made the whole getting-ready experience feel fun, relaxed, and seamless. If you are looking for a wedding glam team that will make you feel confident, beautiful, and completely taken care of, book with Wendy immediately. You will be so happy you did!

was going to need day of and she never once complained or turned me down, she just made it all work—I’m super grateful. I was super happy with the results especially for a curly girl in VA!  She also cut my hair a few weeks before my wedding & gave me great care tips that I still use!

way and helped so much.

ived right on time and were so friendly and personable—it truly felt like having another friend with us on the wedding day. Absolute Beauty by Wendy was willing to travel for our destination wedding and even met us at our Airbnb, which made everything so easy. Wendy and her staff came fully equipped with top-of-the-line tools, products, and expertise, and her entire team was just as incredible. They were fun, energetic, and made the whole getting-ready process such a joyful experience for our bridal party. Having one talented team to handle both hair and makeup for our larger group was a huge benefit, especially with a tight schedule. From young to mature skin, thin to thick hair, and various hair textures (CURLS!) - they executed flawlessly. Wendy and her team worked diligently, paid close attention to detail, and ensured everyone looked and felt beautiful. With decades of combined experience across her staff, along with professional certifications and licensure, Absolute Beauty by Wendy professionalism and skill truly shine through. I would highly recommend Absolute Beauty by Wendy to anyone in need of wedding services, professional makeup for events or photoshoots, skincare, or even one-on-one lessons to learn how to do your own hair and makeup. Thank you, Wendy, for helping make our wedding day so special!

tist before meeting her. But Wendy was incredible, she worked beautifully with my hair both on the trial day and on my wedding day. Jinay did my makeup, and she was amazing as well. During the trial, she taught me so much about my skin tone and what works best for me, since I don’t usually wear much makeup. On the wedding day, she gave me the most glamorous natural look I’ve ever had, and my makeup held up perfectly all night long. Wendy is very responsive, kind, and punctual, which made the whole process so smooth and stress-free. Wendy and Jinay, thank you so much for making me and my girls feel truly beautiful on my wedding day. I highly recommend both Wendy and Jinay to anyone looking for top-quality makeup and hair styling!

bsolutely amazing from start to finish. They made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, and my hair and makeup lasted flawlessly all the way until 3 AM at our after party—not a single touch-up needed! Leading up to the wedding, Wendy was also so accommodating with follow-up trials when I wanted to try different hairstyles, which made me feel completely confident going into the big day. The team arrived right on time the morning of the wedding and worked efficiently to get all 11 of us ready—bridesmaids, moms, and me—with time to spare for touch-ups before photos. They were friendly, professional, and kept the morning stress-free and fun. I can’t recommend Absolute Beauty by Wendy enough for your wedding or any special occasion. They are truly the best!

Surprisingly there are not many people in the DMV that do Ouidad but I came across Wendy's page and saw she was certified so I had to book! The trial went amazing, and she has a full studio at her house where the services were done. On my wedding day I received so many compliments on my hair. My curls withstood an entire day and night in July heat; she really knows how to do wedding services that will look great and last all day. I also usually don't wear a lot of makeup, and she was very willing to work with my comfort level on wanting to stay fairly minimal. My hair looked so amazing on my wedding day, the very next day I made sure to book her again for another service I needed in the fall. I definitely recommend booking with her, especially if you have curly hair! I will be a reoccurring customer.

l and day-of logistics. Dianna was my makeup artist, and she was incredible- she made great suggestions and helped me achieve the natural look I was hoping for. She also brought a calm, thoughtful presence to the morning. My sister, mom, and mother-in-law also got their hair and makeup done, and everyone looked great throughout the whole day/evening. Because of Absolute Beauty by Wendy, I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day. I wholeheartedly recommend this company!

sister for our small wedding celebration. They listened to our feedback and really delivered looks that made each of us feel like the best version of ourselves. My makeup felt natural and flawless, and my mom and sister looked very beautiful. Also, a big shoutout to my hair- it held up all day AND all night!! Wendy was super professional and had such a calming presence when getting ready which really helped with my own butterflies. I'm so grateful we had them as part of our wedding morning! I highly recommend getting on fleek with Absolute Beauty by Wendy for any special occasion!

e beautifully done and lasted all night. I would recommend Wendy to any of my friends who were getting married soon. I am incredibly happy with the way the hair and makeup looked in pictures. Thank you so much Wendy!

endly and kind and made sure everyone was pleased with their look. Definitely hire them if you're in the DC area! I never wear makeup and they did a fantastic job guiding me through.

planning process Wendy was always very responsive, helpful, and professional. I told her exactly the vision I had and wanted and she 10/10 got it right! My hair and makeup looked stunning! I highly recommend Wendy and her team if you are in the DMV area!! Thank you!!

eone available on relatively short notice. As someone who prefers a more natural look, I also had a hard time finding a make-up artist that worked for me. Given all that, Wendy was a god send! Both my hair and make-up trial went great (she understood exactly what I wanted, and absolutely delivered!). She was also amazing day of, she arrived right on time and was able to get through hair and make-up for me plus hair for 4 other members of the bridal party early! Everyone's hair and my make-up lasted all day, through photos, running around, an outdoor ceremony, and dancing. I highly recommend Absolute Beauty by Wendy for bridal hair and make-up!

nd offer solutions to make sure the styles were exactly what I wanted for the big day. They traveled all the way to Madison, VA early in the morning and still made it to the location before our scheduled start time. They were both very patient with my mom and bridesmaids as they requested any modifications and they even made time to add a couple of unplanned hair and makeup services for more of my family members at the end. Their bilingualism in Spanish and English was a huge benefit to communicate more effectively with Spanish speakers in my family! Would recommend them both!

ionalism and kindness will always be something special I remember from my big day. Thank you again Wendy and team!

wonderful job on both, makeup lasted all day and never faded and curls stayed in even on one of my party member’s finer and naturally straight hair! Their knowledge and skill are incredibly reassuring. I felt so confident after my trial before the wedding, they are so thorough and they really work great together to bring you exactly what you want for your day. Highly recommend!

at least an hour or more out of D.C. and the cost of mileage for the hair and makeup artist was something I had to take into account for convenience and budget. I had Wendy for both my hair and makeup trial, which I used for my engagement photoshoot, and then used her team for the day of my wedding. Her packages were very straight forward and easy for me to figure out which services I wanted for myself and my wedding party. On the day of the trial, she was patient in listening to what type of makeup and hair I wanted. The engagement photos were classy and stunning, thanks to Wendy's work. On the day of the wedding, Wendy and her team worked hard to prep me, my mom and five other bridesmaids. Wendy did an excellent job with Asian-style hair, which everyone's hair kept up through the evening on a hot summer DC day. Her makeup artist did an excellent job taking our requests into account, and we all looked flawless. I am truly appreciative of Wendy and her team as I was a nervous about how we would all look. She takes feedback seriously and seeks to improve what you're looking for! Her prices are very fair, especially for the quality she puts into making me feel beautiful for both the trial and day of the wedding. Any bride is in good hands with Wendy. I would not look any further if you are having your wedding or engagement photo shoot in D.C. or at least the 10 mile radius outside of D.C.

lpful and patient in helping me get the makeup look I wanted during the wedding trial process. I also saw her a few times for eyebrows in the lead up to the wedding; she gave me some great skincare advice and was able to recommend products that noticeably helped my skin. On the day of the wedding she and her team were very prompt, worked efficiently, and could not have been more patient or kind to myself and my bridal party. I felt really beautiful on my wedding day and can’t thank Wendy enough!

rked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted, as I normally don’t wear makeup or have my hair done. They made sure to listen and talk me through makeup and hair styles I envisioned and that worked best with my skin and hair. They also worked with my mom who never wears makeup, to make sure she was comfortable as well. Which was really important to me. They treated us as individuals and not just faces to be painted. They were very professional and on time on the wedding day. They were finished before we needed to be but we never felt rushed. They were wonderful with my whole bridal party and helped everyone enhance their natural beauty. The price point is accurate for the amount of time and energy they spend on each client. Wendy was very responsive and very organized with the planning process. I highly recommend her and her team!! You won’t regret it.

al party loved their hair and makeup and we had no worries about our appearances that day. Before booking makeup and hair artists, I was very nervous about the whole process, but my trial with Jackie and Jinay eased my nerves. I had a chance to explain what I liked and didn’t like, and they perfected the vision for what I wanted on my wedding day. My bridal party was diverse in skin tones and age ranges, and they made everyone look fantastic. I highly, highly recommend.

to my hair. She made me feel so at ease going into the wedding day and is incredibly personable to talk to. She is truly talented with her work outside of my chosen hair and make up style, I’m so glad I got to work with her❤️

eous and at ease on my big day, and I am forever grateful. Do not hesitate to book this vendor. 10/10 would recommend.

wanted for our DC wedding. The women are already gorgeous, but the makeup was beautiful yet not overkill - which is exactly what we wanted. I loved the natural look of their fake lashes too - all of them looked really nice on. The hair was modern, but different for all the women - all updos were absolutely gorgeous, too!!!! We cannot recommend Absolute Beauty by Wendy enough!!! Total perfection, and conversational, professional women who went out of their way to make our bridal party feel comfortable about their looks. And they all looked stunning! Hair and makeup all held up in 98 degree temps on our July 15 wedding, so that's how you know they did an awesome job!

t features. She welcomed me and my mother, matron of honor, flower girl and bridesmaid into her home studio. It was a great start to have us ready for the wedding in the afternoon. She added flowers that I brought into my flower girl's hair. It lasted all day!

nd elegant. She made suggestions prior to my wedding to help my skin and it worked. If I have another event or attend a wedding, I would highly recommend her and her team. All my wedding party were simply beautiful with the hair and makeup from Wendy and her team.

to the wedding (I changed my mind about hairstyle a few times and Wendy was so accommodating). Her team arrived early on wedding day to get set up and was able to work through a very large group of women for hair and make-up in a very organized and timely manner. Everyone looked AMAZING and we were all so happy with our hair and make-up. She did such a great job with many different hair types (including a few girls with VERY curly hair) and was wonderful with our 5 year old flower girl as well! I can't recommend her enough!!
