We used Abreo for our wedding caterer as well as liquor/bar service and they did a fantastic job. Because of the pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding date twice and they were...
flexible and accommodating throughout that stressful process. The only downside is that their prices were raised from our original contract which made things difficult as it was outside of our budget, but they did what they could to compromise on some of the costs to make it doable for us. Ultimately even the higher prices were entirely worth the money - everyone raved about how this wasn’t typical wedding food and seemed genuinely impressed by how delicious the meals were. The servers and bartenders were outstanding - so attentive, friendly, and fun and made the day so special. If you want to ensure that your wedding has elevated, delicious food beyond classic “bleh” wedding food, this is your place!
Abreo did the catering for our wedding at the Standard and it was phenomenal! We worked with both Karen and Julie beforehand and they were very helpful in making sure everything we...
needed was accounted for. The food was delicious! We got so many comments on how good the food was and above and beyond what most people expect for a wedding. The servers and bar tender ladies were all excellent as well. Highly recommend!
Abreo is an incredible vendor through and through!! My husband and I worked with the Abreo team for our wedding this past year and cannot think of a single bad thing to say about t...
he service! During the tasting process they helped us narrow in on the meal options from appetizer to final dinner menus. Overall, the Abreo team was so wonderful to work with that we would recommend them to absolutely anyone. On top of all that, the food turned out perfectly. The kitchen team obviously knows what they’re doing because we only continue to get rave reviews when talking with friends and family. Thank you so much for everything!
Abreo catered our wedding at The Standard this past June. Everyone knows one of the most important things when hosting a wedding for guests is the food. I'm not exaggerating when I...
say the thing we got the MOST compliments on was our food. It was SO delicious! We loved it and our guests were raving over how good it was. We received compliment after compliment, even the left overs the next day were amazing! Not only was the food great, but the service we received was also wonderful. I highly recommend Abreo through and through!
Abreo catered our wedding at The Standard this July. WOW. We knew the food would be amazing because we had it at our tasting...but our guests were RAVING about it all night and eve...
n weeks later!! We plan on making more trips out to Rockford in the future now just so we can grab dinner at Abreo!!
Also- Karen is incredibly kind and easy to work with!! She was so helpful and accommodating with every request or question we had!

A truly awesome experience, from our tasting at their restaurant to them adjusting their menu to accommodate every guest's dietary needs. Their food was what everyone talked about ...
the next day. With great main dishes and excellent apps, some of which were saved for us to enjoy during the craziness of the day. Karen was great at coordinating with us to organize the day.
If you're looking for a delicious and elevated culinary experience in the Chicago suburbs, you have to check out Abreo. Their food is top notch and the experience is equally excell...
ent. My fiance and I had initially planned for Abreo to cater our wedding, but COVID required us to make many changes. Karen was understanding throughout the process and we greatly appreciated her flexibility. Planning a wedding during COVID was stressful enough, but Karen made it easier. Although we weren't able to hold the reception we initially planned, we did have a chance to enjoy Abreo with our immediate families after the rehearsal the night before and it was a perfect evening. It wasn't the first time we visited Abreo and it won't be our last. Highly recommend Abreo for your catering needs (...or even just for a meal if you're in town).
DJing at Abreo Restaurant was as smooth as it gets!!!! Friendly staff all around, tasty crafty cocktails, elegant modern decor, beautiful ceremony area, and intimate reception area...
just right for a small wedding! Food is 11 out of 10 stars, no joke there. No complaints what so ever, and I usually find something. Great experience, I hope to be back here in the near future! Thanks for being so accommodating ;)

I were blown away by not only his hospitality, but his staff's as well. 10/10, couldn't have chosen a better caterer for our wedding, and we're excited for our guests to be blown away.
Great job Abreo!

This was the best wedding food I've ever had, and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding! Paul, the owner, uses locally grown and in season foods to make some of the be...
st food you will ever have. Abreo was recommended to us as one of our venues preferred vendors. We tried one of the other vendors for lunch and then ate at Abreo for dinner. We decided right then that we did not need to try any other restaurant as no one could even compare to Abreo. The food was presented just as perfect as it tasted. Paul was extremely helpful in working with us to create a diverse menu for both our wedding night and rehearsal dinner that was within our budget. He was also very accommodating to our guests varying dietary needs (kids dish, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, as well as diabetic). Our guests all complemented how great the food and service was. If you're in the Rockford area, I highly recommend trying out Paul's restaurants (Abreo, Social, and PK diner). I promise you will not be disappointed!
We loved the food at our wedding!! Abreo took care of appetizers, dinner, drinks and our late night bites and all of our guests just raved about the food at the wedding. Karen an...

rnut squash tortelloni as our main entrees and everything was perfect! Even served buffet-style. Karen, her husband (Paul? I think...) and the Abreo staff made everything perfect. At the end of the meal, Paul even came over to personally ask me if everything was OK....that was huge in my book!
I loved working with Karen, Paul and the Abreo team. We loved their story, food and professionalism so much we decided to book them for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding recep...
tion--who does that?! The food was incredible both nights and the service was outstanding. I have had tons of our guests come up and tell me that the food was the best wedding food they have ever had (and I quote "this wasn't the lean cuisine we typically get at a wedding, this was a legit meal!). Also, the vegetarians were thrilled that they, too, got a great meal. I had such a wonderful time working with Karen and was 100% confident that they would be flawless in providing an excellent meal to our guests and they did.
