Abraham Catering

d their communication was impeccable.

and narrow down what we wanted, and we appreciated available gluten free options for some of our guests (which we didn't end up needing, but glad it was there if needed). For the quality of food alone, we would have given 5 stars. However, trying to reach anybody to get our catering sorted out for the wedding was the worst part of our entire wedding planning process. Abraham Catering was the preferred vendor by our venue, otherwise we would have looked elsewhere as it was incredibly difficult to get anything planned with them. We had to reach out a few times to get a response when initially contacting them about what we needed to do to book them for our reception. We eventually got an email from Dawn telling us where to send a deposit and get setup with a tasting. We attended the tasting to sample and select menu items. Once the event was over, we were able to find Dawn on our way out to briefly touch base and ask some questions about what we needed to do to plan a time to chat and coordinate things. We were told we'd get a proposal sent and go from there. We did receive the proposal in November with a lot of errors and things that didn't match what we had initially talked about, but figured we would get the opportunity to review and correct it closer to the wedding in June. We tried calling to follow up in January, February, and March but never received a call back. We started to get nervous and left a few messages in April and May asking if we could talk to Dawn so we could finalize our information. We never got a call back, but she did finally email us. We were never able to directly speak on the phone or in person all communications were through a series of disorganized emails. It wasn't until 2 weeks before the wedding that we really got consistent responses and everything was being rushed to be planned at the last. We didn't get our final proposal until the week OF the wedding. There was also confusion the day of the wedding as they set more tables than were needed and ran out of supplies, so one of the catering staff began to complain to a bridesmaid that there was a discrepancy in the numbers. All communications from us were for 140, so not sure where they came up with 160 in the first place while setting up but they seemed to figure it out. Our contact Dawn was very friendly when she did respond, but the lack of responses and disorganized planning were very frustrating. We're just glad that the food itself came out amazing and the rest of our vendors were responsive and had their things in order. Absolutely recommend the food, but they definitely need to get the coordinating side of things together.

om the first moment we met he was truly in our corner and made everything so EASY and fun throughout the entire planning process. Their entire team was truly exceptional! They were so helpful and kind, always looking out for our best interests and never trying to nickel and dime us like some other vendors. During a time when planning a wedding can be incredibly stressful and expensive, Abraham Catering made the catering experience and venue a breeze. Also, the BEST catering food EVER. I had so many people come up to me at the wedding and after, saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had and kept going back for seconds! We are so grateful for all that they did to contribute to making our special day absolutely perfect. We highly recommend Abraham Catering to any couple planning their wedding!
