work so special. It’s not the point-and-shoot let’s take a million portraits wedding day, it’s a much more relaxed day with Aaron as your photographer. He’s AMAZING!
Aaron Spicer is such an amazing photographer. He made sure everything went smoothly the day of. He can work with as little or as much direction as you would like. He also delivered...
our wedding photos within 2 weeks (cannot promise this for everyone depending on the time of year). All of our pictures turned out amazing! I would recommend him to anyone!
Aaron was very professional but also relaxed and made us feel at ease. He guided us to get all the photos we asked for, but never made us feel like he was dictating what we did. He...
was accommodating, which I especially appreciated when it seemed like a million different guests wanted photos together. He made sure to pull us away for sunset photos, which I never would have thought of without his suggestion. The sneak peek photos were amazing and I can't wait to see our final images!
We met Aaron at a bridal show in Roanoke and were immediately blown away by the sample photos he had for wedding pictures. We got his information and browsed his online portfolio. ...
His work speaks for itself and the “Moments” he captures in his photography sealed the deal for us. After meeting in person and chatting about what our wants and expectations were, Aaron was able to answer any questions we had about logistics and we were on board! Unfortunately due to COVID, we had to postpone our celebration, but we still were planning on eloping and Aaron was willing to work with us not only for our elopement plans, but also in rescheduling our wedding celebration. On the day of our elopement, Aaron made us feel comfortable while we were taking pictures and got some really amazing shots! He was able to capture some special moments without feeling like he was “intruding” in our ceremony. In going through our wedding photos, it’s impossible to pick favorites because there are So.Many. Good. Pictures! We are blown away by the pictures from this year, and can’t wait to see what Aaron will capture when we have our celebration with our families and friends! I highly recommend Aaron Spicer to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

hed us for our engagement and wedding, and also designed a wedding album for us. His turnaround time to send us the photo proofs was extremely quick, and we were blown away by how beautiful all of the photos are! It is difficult to pick which ones to print, because there are so many gorgeous choices. Aaron captured all of the people and moments that are so special to us. We are thrilled with his work!
Aaron is so fantastic and talented! My guests definitely noticed his professionalism and how he was always present at the right moment! I love our wedding pictures
We are very happy with our choice to have Aaron photograph our wedding. We took time to interview several photographers, and we were most impressed by Aaron’s portfolio. He drove u...
p from Fredericksburg to Alexandria to meet us for lunch, which we appreciated. Aaron is both personable and professional.
We did an engagement photo shoot at Meadowlark Gardens in early spring, and Aaron got some great shots of us enjoying the cherry blossoms.
At the main event, Aaron showed up early and was ready to get some great shots. He had to get a little creative, because we had rain all day. Even still, we got some great photos from the covered porch and around the venue inside. During the ceremony and reception, we barely noticed Aaron moving around taking photos. When he delivered the final results, every picture had smiling people. There were great and artistic shots of all of our guests having a good time. It really captured the feel of the night.
Throughout our interactions with Aaron he communicated well and professionally. We are very pleased with our choice of having him document our wedding; he did so with a mixture of elegant and natural candid photos.
Aaron photographed both our engagement and wedding photos. The thing we liked most was his familiarity with the settings and situations. Since Aaron has shot so many photos in so m...
any different locations of Fredericksburg, not a single shot was wasted, and he took several thousand of them. He didn't waste time on a "bad angle" because he knew better. Aaron was also very organized. Especially for family photos - which are often the most tedious - he came well prepared with a list of shots that were required, and even called up the necessary people for each shot. We had them done in under 15 minutes, and that set us roughly 30 minutes ahead of schedule, which gave Aaron the opportunity to get a few more creative shots of the bride and groom.
Aaron was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer! He did an awesome job capturing all the cute moments at our ceremony and reception, without it feeling like we...
were being chased by the paparazzi. We've shown off the photos to several family members since the event, and the pictures very clearly chart the story of the most special day of our lives.
We also did an earlier engagement session with Aaron, and he took the time both to take some excellent photos of us and to get a sense of what we were looking for in our wedding photos. He was helpful in shaping what kinds of pictures we'd want, without ever feeling overbearing: he helped us let our style shine through.
Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for awesome wedding photos from a talented and friendly photographer!
I spent months searching for the best photographer and looked at at least 50 websites. When I found Aaron's page it was like a breath of fresh air. The music that played when you f...
irst opened the site was very relaxing and was easy to navigate.
As for the event, I couldn't have asked for a better person. I had comments that he seemed to blend in with all of the guests. And comments on how professional he was. And his photo guidance... EXCELLENT! It's truly hard to describe in words how great he was but I can say it would be stupid to not book him. Search no more you have found your photographer!!!!
We absoluetly loved working with Aaron and are in love with our photos from the wedding. We did an engagement shot with Aaron before the wedding and thought the mostly editorial st...
yle photos told the perfect story of my husband and I. Our wedding photos were similarly amazing, probably moreso-- he captured all of the details, emotions, fun and love of our wedding day, from when we started to get ready until the last sweaty dance photos. Aaron is really easy to work with and we would highly recommend him to any bride and groom!
There aren't enough good things I can say about Aaron Spicer Photography. Aaron Spicer met me at the hairdresser's at nine in the morning and was with us until the reception ended...
at eleven o'clock that night. Aaron was professional on all accounts. He was able to capture the most important moments of the day without stopping the flow or getting in the way.
The second photographer that Aaron brought with him was key in capturing many angles of the church ceremony. We are extremely pleased with the final products. We expecially liked that we have our photos on a DVD to make reproductions in any size we would like. We have heard nothing but positive comments from people at the wedding, as well as, those who only viewed the photos.
Thanks again, Aaron!!
