A Taste Of Excellence Catering

acking everything up and cleaning out the facility well before the wedding reception has ended. Once there’s about 45 minutes to an hour left, they begin clearing tables of almost everything, including food, drinks, pictures, and more. Is it completely inappropriate and unprofessional to do. Your customers paid for an experience that ends at a specific time. Why does cleanup need to begin while the reception is still very much going on? This isn’t plate clearing- this is actively throwing out items people are obviously still using, and while late night bites/desserts had been set out recently. We confronted the caterer at our own wedding about it and was given a basic apology. But then I went to another wedding last night where Taste of Excellence catered and the exact same thing happened.  So it does not appear to be a one off thing. They never mention any of this when you choose them so others should be aware. Find a caterer that will provide you the full experience you paid for- not one that’s looking to book it as soon as the clock hits 10/11pm. The food is good but there’s plenty of other wedding vendors out there that serve good food and don’t do that behavior.

s without a hitch. I cant recommend enough.

y felt seamless with this team, especially working with Lindsay S! Being from out of state, Lindsay made me feel at ease at all times with the long distance communication, being so accommodating with our pre wedding tasting, and overall just being an amazing representation for this company! Not to mention the food is amazing! 12/10 recommend ATE for any event catering needs.

ns, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. We worked with Lindsay Sauers for several months leading up to the wedding, and she was wonderful every step of the way. From start to finish, she helped us plan every detail, answered our questions, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and everything was executed flawlessly on our wedding day. We were extremely satisfied with the entire experience, and our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food as well.

s, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with! When we arrived at our venue, which they handled fully with setup and execution, we were genuinely blown away by how beautiful everything looked. Even more importantly, the food was outstanding. Our guests are still talking about the puff pastry chicken madeira and the short ribs.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for both seamless service and exceptional food.

ly toured the Old Courthouse, which immediately put us at ease about having them cater our wedding there.  Throughout the planning process, Kaitlyn and her team were incredibly responsive, always quick to answer questions and willing to work with us to create a menu that was exactly what we envisioned. Their professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail made the entire process stress-free. On the wedding day, Kaitlyn and her team were a huge reason everything ran smoothly and stayed on schedule. The service was seamless, and the food was outstanding. We received countless compliments from our guests. We are so grateful for everything Kaitlyn and her team did to make our day special. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer—you will be in excellent hands!

ue and were easy to us to communicate with as well.

ssional, and so enjoyable to work with! She made everything stress free and so easy. And the food was incredible! After a few tastings with other caterers, we immediately knew Taste of Excellence was the best. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. What really set them apart was how they truly handled everything, including our cake and cookie table. They also had plates of appetizers waiting for my husband and me after our ceremony, which was so thoughtful. Taste of Excellence truly exceeded our expectations in every way. They are a team of true professionals and I hope to work with them again!

ere incredibly professional, organized, and thoughtful throughout the entire process, which helped us truly enjoy our day without stress. The staff did an outstanding job with setup and cleanup, making everything feel seamless from start to finish. We also rented chairs through the company, and the team went above and beyond by moving them from the ceremony to the dining tables, creating such a smooth transition for the evening. We’re so grateful for all of their hard work and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event!

about halfway through the serving to guests and they got my order wrong (the brides order is literally listed on the contract -_-) Also the owner is a nightmare, screamed at us and tried to blame us for all that went wrong, asked for our side only to constantly talk over us and offer 0 solutions to our terrible experience. Run run away they are terribly run and that man should not own a business catered twords making guests happy hes super immature and unprofessional

were removed in a timely manner. Any no show meals were given to us at the end of the night which was a nice plus. They even took care of our desserts that we used a different vendor for which was very nice

ng venue. The transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was absolutely seamless. The event was beautifully structured, the setup and teardown was extremely efficient, and the event managers could not have been more kind. Thank you to Pam that helped us plan our big day!

I would recommend Taste of Excellence to anyone needing a caterer!

ing process seamless. The staff was incredible, attentive, and professional, making sure everything went perfectly from start to finish. We could not have asked for a better wedding day experience and will absolutely use them again in the future!

with planning team and service team on site at our wedding, but they quickly resolved any issues.

wedding was quick and streamlined. The food was delicious; I got so many compliments on how well it was cooked and the large portion sizes. All of the staff was professional and polite. Book with Taste of Excellence for your wedding; you won't regret it!

onderful experience with our tasting as well. Many thanks to Lindsay who helped us from the beginning of our planning to our wedding day!

Days Lodge in CVNP. I am absolutely backing up the other reviews to say they truly are the best catering company and will make the difference with your wedding. I found this company through Happy Days Lodge since they allow you to work with few caterers. They are a full service caterer with glassware, linen, and chair rental which is extremely convenient for coordination. Cost wise, they are very reasonable for what you are getting. Initially, I worked with Amanda prior to her promotion, and she was a delight. I was then switched to Madison who is lovely and answered every question I had along the way. I also had contact with Gavin who was very helpful and responsive! Ask for Madison as your point of contact! Foodwise, I promote food and hosting on social media. This company is on par with the level you want to show off for one of the biggest days of your life. Many people came up to me at the wedding to report it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Taste of excellence cooks the food on premise so everything is hot and delicious, which is not the case for many catering companies. For appetizers, I had the lobster slaw en croute, the artichoke wonton cone, the banana pepper popper with remoulade sauce, and the thai chicken skewers with peanut sauce. Each one was delicious, but the guests liked them in that order. For dinner, we chose to have plated chicken or beef. We went with the beef short rib which was definitely a crowd pleaser paired with Yukon mashed potatoes and broccolini. We did the tasting for chicken florentine which was good but went with the chicken maderia because it was delicious! The chicken madeira was wrapped in a puff pastry and since it is cooked on premise the puff pastry was still crispy when served. We paired that with the scalloped potatoes and the broccolini. For dessert, if it is in your budget, I highly recommend the sweet endings option. My guests had a choice of bananas foster or cherries jubilee which was served over French vanilla icecream. For $5.50 per person, it was an absolute hit and guests are still talking about it. I would say this company made for a lasting impression. Service wise, we had Cindy day of to organize and she was so wonderful. She lite all my candles, wrapped up extra food for people that did not show, and answered all questions I had. I rented my glassware and chairs for my outdoor ceremony through them so it took less things off my plate. If you are looking for a truly seamless wedding experience, I would say go for this caterer.

of Excellence. They were both incredibly helpful from the very beginning of the process when we were deciding on a venue and throughout every step of deciding on the details for the menu and set-up for the event. We have received many compliments from family and friends about the delicious food. All of our interactions with both Pam, Mary Jane, and the staff at A Taste of Excellence were positive, professional, and very helpful.

petizers for all the guest. They had to be told to do their jobs as far as boxing up my daughters cake and keeping the dessert table full. They spilled BBQ sauce all down the front of the tablecloth and just pulled the bottom of the cloth up and set it on there for it to leak through and get on someone's dress or suit and never refilled the sauce bowl. The event coordinator never checked in to see how things were going. I would definitely not recommend them when there are so many of other catering companies that will and can do a better job and actually communicate better with there customers

s and Lindsay was my main contact. She was such a pleasure to work with and made everything so easy from the tasting to the day of. She was professional, organized, quick with communication and so kind. The bartenders and waitstaff at our wedding were wonderful and they were so accommodating to our outside desserts and signature drinks. We went with a family style meal and so many of my guests have RAVED about how delicious their dinners were! Everything was served quickly, warm, and was delicious. So many people have told me that it is the best wedding food they have ever had! I can not recommend Lindsay & the team at A Taste of Excellence enough!

erything flowed smoothly and food was served promptly. They are also very flexible with the menu and open to fun ideas like a late night pretzel bar. Definitely recommend!

dogs on scene for a photo opportunity and they nailed it!! Thank you so much for everything

a tasting, and everything we tried was delicious, we had a hard time choosing. We got plenty of compliments about the food from our attendees. During the wedding, the service we received was top notch. The bartenders were fast and served great drinks, the food was hot when it was served, and the workers were all very kind. Highly recommend the Taste of Excellence team.

restrictions and paid attention to the details! They went above and beyond to take care of my husband and I, including a personal charcuterie board at our sweetheart table, restocking dessert, packaging up dessert and extra food, and even helping to move tables at the end of the night! They are an amazing staff and helped make my dream wedding come true!

nderstanding adaptable and overall fantastic would highly recommend using them 10 out of 10 experience

atering vendor for some cultural dishes, and ATE (provided cocktail hour, main meals, and bar) worked so smoothly alongside them. Truly a well oiled machine that kept everything on track and helped make up time as we needed to. Emily supported me through the planning, and Rachel & Cooper were my day of heroes. They’re all FABULOUS and so professional. I felt so lucky to have this power team make my day special. I can’t gush enough. Thank you ATE!!

how amazing the food was which is hard to pull off at a wedding.

ly helpful!

work with. We worked with Kaitlyn and Mikaela! Our original meeting was with Kaitlyn and then everything else was with Mikaela. Mikaela has such a bubbly personality- she’s perfect for working with brides to be a smiling face during stressful times!! The process, I felt, was very smooth. We picked our food, and colors for linens & cutlery right away. They accommodated my food allergies along with some of my guests. The day of went smoothly as well! Austin was in charge and was very polite whenever he came to chat with us and make sure we were taken care of! He double checked that we wanted our head table to be served our cake and desserts were for the guests. They set up all of our cupcakes and cookies for us. Packaged all of our extra meals up. Packaged our cake back up for us to save. Set up our cereal bar for our late night snack. And made it look even better than I imagined!! They set up all of our thank you cards for our guest along with their meal preferences. We did not hear one complaint about the food being wrong or not cooked right! Everybody loved their meals and appetizers! The bridal party even got to eat a decent amount of them which was really nice!! The bar staff were very very nice! We brought our own alcohol and they packaged everything that was not used right back up for us! All of the staff was accommodating with one of our signature drinks having a starburst in it. They were polite enough to make sure a very nice bottle of wine did not get wasted since it was already open! Could not recommend TOE enough to help make your wedding day go smoothly with amazing food!!

raved about the food too! Saying it was the best food they have had at a wedding by far. So it wasn’t just me that thought the food was good. The service was also amazing. The servers the day of my wedding were very attentive and communicative with me about everything. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this company, I had such a great experience and will recommend to anyone else getting married or wanting great food at big events!

t wedding cuisine we have ever had. The braised beef short rib was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, while the chicken madeira was equally delightful. Each bite was a testament to the culinary expertise of the team. Not only was the food delicious, but the presentation was also impeccable, adding an extra touch of elegance to the event. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the meal, and many said it was the highlight of the evening. If you're looking for exceptional catering for your event, we highly recommend A Taste of Excellence. Their commitment to quality and flavor truly sets them apart!

t the entire process, ensuring that every detail, both big and small, was taken care of to perfection. The staff delivered fantastic food and impeccable service, which truly made our wedding night unforgettable. We received so many positive comments on how amazing the food was! We are grateful for their professionalism, warmth, and dedication to making our special day flawless. I highly recommend their services!

ve, and the food was amazing, we got compliments all night long. Thank you so much, they took the stress of all set up and tear down away. It was perfect!

w last-minute changes to table linens and upgraded our cheese display, and they were able to do it without any issues. We also had a few kids need to come at the last minute, and they were great about adding on children's meals literally the week before the wedding. The pricing was right in our range and they even beautifully displayed/served our cake and desserts from a different bakery. Everyone on staff day of was so friendly and kind. All meals were enjoyed, and they were conscientious about some of the severe allergies we had amongst the guests. They were also so good about coordinating with our planner and venue separate from us, which saved us some logistic-ing. And if I didn't say it before, the food was delicious!!

sy to talk to, always available to answer questions, so patient with my indecisiveness, open to last minute changes, and the presentation was beautiful! If you’re on the fence, definitely book them, you will not be disappointed!

. We had several planning calls throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and also attended a tasting at their location in Strongsville. This all helped us immensely so we knew what to expect the day of the wedding. We had slightly more than 100 guests attend. We decided to do buffet style so guests could enjoy multiple entrees. Salads and bread were pre-set so guests could begin eating while they waited to go through the buffet line. ToE also set up our dessert table and made it look beautiful (though desserts and cake were ordered through a separate bakery). Guests complimented the food many times, and the service was wonderful. Also they were very accommodating for food allergies. I will add they may be on the more expensive side for some couples, but for full service catering that I did not have to worry about at all the day of the event, it was well worth it.

was forgotten, was great at communicating everything and was very helpful in making adjustments as needed. The day of coordinator was also really great, checking on the bride and groom and going out of her way to make sure everything was running smoothly.

icient they are. They were amazing on wedding day, checked on my husband and I numerous times throughout the night, and really made us feel well cared for during the night. The food was amazing and I had numerous guests tell us our great it was. They made the room look beautiful as well. They listened to all of our needs and always answered emails in a timely fashion. They are truly a well oiled machine and I would recommend them to everyone. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to work with them for our wedding.

ere with us day of and treated our guests like stars. Never any empty water glasses or stomachs. They honored my picky napkin set up request without a question. They made sure me and my husband had hors d’oeuvres and checked in on us frequently. The chef also was so kind and created a lovely meal. Will be dreaming about the bruschetta and the pork tenderloin for the rest of my life.
