Founded by owner & CEO Abha Desai in November of 2019, A Connection was established with the hopes of forging connections with and between clients, vendors, and colleagues in the industry as well as members of her community. For years, Abha dreamt of sharing her creative approach to event design with the world and after finding success in the entreprenurial world, she decided to take the leap and start the business. She believes that making connections is one of the most important parts of her role as a wedding planner. From connecting couples with like-minded vendors to curating experiences that bring people together, connection is a constant in everything she does. Her business name, A Connection, celebrates this belief, as she is one individual responsible for helping so many people connect and collaborate!
Running the business alongside Abha is her partner, Rohini Brahmbhatt, who joined the industry officially in early 2024 after earning experience in event management and planning for over 10 years. Raised with the motto "In the Joy of Others Lies Our Own," Rohini enjoys exemplifying acts of service through wedding planning, which she believes helps to forge real connections with couples, their families & friends. What started off as an application of her talent for a side hustle has very quickly turned into a life-changing opportunity and passion!
Combining Abha's vendor connections, industy experience and networking capability with Rohini's organization, social management skills and marketing capability, these 2 ladies make an unparalleled wedding planning duo!

Hiring this team to coordinate our Sangeet and wedding was one of the best decisions we made. What made it even more special is that I've known Rohini for over 15 years, so it was ...
incredibly meaningful to have someone I trust so deeply be part of such an important milestone in my life. Even with that personal connection, they exceeded every expectation as professionals.
From start to finish, the entire team was organized, punctual, calm, and incredibly attentive. They communicated seamlessly with our vendors, kept everything running on schedule, and handled countless behind-the-scenes details so my husband, our families, and I could truly enjoy every moment of the weekend.
What I'll remember most are the little things they did that made such a big impact. They checked in on me throughout the events, and were always ready to jump in and help with whatever unexpected task came up. Those thoughtful gestures made me feel genuinely cared for, not just as a client, but as a bride.
Having people you completely trust by your side on your wedding day is priceless, and that's exactly how I felt. Their professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure allowed me to be fully present and soak in every moment instead of worrying about logistics.
I couldn't recommend them more highly. Whether you're looking for someone to coordinate your event or simply want a team that will treat your day as if it were their own, they are absolutely incredible. I'm so grateful they were part of our wedding weekend and helped make it everything we dreamed it would be.
Wedding Date: April 25th, 2026
This past year and half was a true rollercoaster. Shivam and I have been planning this wedding since July 2024 when we first booked the Rockleigh an...
d god what a journey. The best thing we have done is hiring A Connection in June/July 2025 because we not only got us planners but 2 lifetime older sisters. They helped us through everything, hotel contract, all food/decor, external vendors. Abha & Rohini picked up our calls even when I would call and text at midnight hahah. I’m feeling so emotional writing this down because I feel like I haven’t processed the wedding and it’s all hitting me and I’m feeling so heavy right now. What a beautiful week! Everyone had an amazing time even though there were some bumps in the road wedding morning but I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. Planning a 650 people wedding is hard and the fact that we only had some minor inconveniences is amazing. I love you both so so much!
Shivam and I are going through some heavy withdrawals right now as we are going through Rishi’s content and other photos. Just know we are so so grateful, this event/wedding was one for the books. Our hard work has paid off, truly! Thank you for being the best team, ily guys tremendously. I can’t believe it’s all over. And I would 110% run it back if I could!!
There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible Abha, Rohini, and the entire A Connection team are. Planning a multi-day fusion Filipino-Indian wedding with hundreds of...
guests and countless moving parts could have easily become overwhelming, but from the very beginning they made us feel completely supported, grounded, and cared for every step of the way.
What makes A Connection so special is that they do far more than execute logistics. They genuinely invest in you as people. Throughout the entire process, they encouraged us to stay true to ourselves and create a wedding that actually reflected who we are, not just what a wedding is “supposed” to look like. Because of that, our wedding weekend felt deeply personal, joyful, intentional, and completely us.
The weekend itself was an absolute dream. Every detail was handled so seamlessly that we were actually able to be present and enjoy our families, friends, and each other. Their ability to manage everything top to bottom is truly world class. Every interaction with their team felt thoughtful, warm, calm, and professional, and it’s so clear they’ve built something incredibly special.
Beyond being unbelievably talented planners, they are just wonderful human beings. By the end of this process, it genuinely felt like we had gained another family. We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives, and so much of that is because of Abha and Rohini.
If you are considering working with A Connection, this is your sign to do it. They are absolute powerhouses, and trusting them with our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.
There are truly no words to capture how much Abha and Rohini from A Connection mean to our family after this wedding.

g that goes into planning a large, multi-event Indian wedding—and what they delivered was nothing short of exceptional. With so many moving parts and a large guest list, things could have easily felt overwhelming, but Abha and Rohini handled every detail with such grace, care, and precision that the entire experience felt seamless.
They were always one step ahead—anticipating needs, solving problems before they arose, and keeping everything on track without ever missing a beat. Beyond their flawless execution, what truly stood out was their warmth and energy. They showed up every day with positivity, patience, and genuine care, making our entire family feel supported throughout the process.
Each event flowed beautifully, and we received endless compliments from guests about how organized, smooth, and stunning everything was. Most importantly, they created an environment where my brother and now sister-in-law could be fully present and enjoy every moment—that’s something we’ll always be grateful for.
Somewhere along the way, Abha and Rohini stopped feeling like vendors and truly became part of our family.
I would recommend them to anyone and everyone without hesitation. If you’re planning a wedding—especially a large, multi-day Indian wedding—there is no better team to trust.
A Connection did an AMAZING job stepping in for us when one of our original planners from a different planning company had to swap out very close to our wedding date. Rohini was fr...
iendly, approachable, and really made us feel at ease. She jumped in seamlessly for day-of coordination at all of our wedding events, clearly having done her research well ahead of time. We can't emphasize enough how smooth the whole process was thanks to Rohini's help. She really took "go above and beyond" to heart and knew all the right questions to ask, which vendors to reach out to, what rituals to be aware of, who from our families and friends to check in with - it felt like she'd been part of the planning process the entire time! When I got nauseous from heat right before haldi, she was at my room door in less than 2 minutes with electrolytes and cold water (which helped instantly!). When I needed a quick touch-up before my bridal entry, she was there with the perfect lipstick shade. When it rained on our wedding day, she was up at the mandap along with other family and friends holding towels over us. When our microphones and speakers went out because of the rain, she was on stage with our photo list calling groups up before guests started leaving. From small things to big things, our wedding would not have been the same without Rohini and we're so lucky to have had her there! Thanks A Connection!
A Connection staff aren’t really a staff… they are more like the family members you had no idea you needed. From the very first call with them off the bat they had a different vibe...
unlike other coordinators we talked to it was kind straight to the “What’s your budget question” where as in here they gave us tips and suggestions we didn’t even know we needed and this is before we signed any contract. After that they took care of pretty much every detail you could think of, made every little thing happen just as we wanted. I think if you’re looking to hire wedding planners there is literally no one better but don’t expect nothing less to be treated as family. Rohini I really felt like treated my like her little brother and made sure that I was doing everything I needed to even when I was procrastinating. Nonetheless they helped create the best week of our lives and we couldn’t be more thankful for all their help and hard work. Best in the business… THEY ATE.
Second best descicion I ever made, marrying my wife was the first. From day one, Rohini and her team were on top of every detail: organized, calm, and always one step ahead. Even ...
when a few unexpected hiccups popped up on the wedding day, they handled everything so smoothly that we barely felt the stress. Even through out the day they made sure we ate and always got us our Diet coke on time.
If you want to actually enjoy your wedding day and see it come together exactly the way you pictured it, these are your people. This isn’t “A Connection”… it’s an A+ Connection.

ection. Her energy, professionalism, and attention to detail were unmatched. She asked thoughtful questions we hadn’t even considered, created a super organized and detailed itinerary, and made sure every single vendor was perfectly in sync.
When unexpected challenges popped up on both days, Rohini and her team handled everything flawlessly, all with calmness, efficiency, and the warmest smiles. Our families and guests kept asking who our amazing coordinators were and how we found them!
A Connection executed our vision perfectly and made our entire wedding weekend feel effortless. If you’re looking for wedding coordinators who are organized, kind, and genuinely invested in making your day perfect, look no further. Truly one of the best decisions we made! 💛✨

ha and Rohini always left me feeling less stressed. The team is very attentive to detail and takes time to truly understand your vision. Their hard work and efforts speak for itself. We felt very grateful to have such an amazing team to guide us and coordinate everything so that we were able to relax and enjoy our special moments without a single worry on our wedding day. The team, especially Nilbhi, Ami, and Neha, went above and beyond - from managing vendors to setting up decorations to bringing us food and drinks to even packing my clothes away. We are incredibly appreciative of all their efforts and cannot thank them enough for their support. If you’re looking for a wedding coordination team that genuinely cares, communicates clearly, and delivers perfection, A Connection is the one!

so well. Every detail, every want, every need was all brought to life. We got so many compliments from our family and friends on how well organized our wedding weekend was and honestly this would not have happened without them. Huge shoutout to Rohini for making sure Umang and I were able to have the wedding of our dreams and also being in our corner throughout the entire process! Rohini, Abha and everyone on their team is also so so sweet and will take all the stress out of your body and make planning a million times less stressful!!
My wife and I cannot thank Abha, Rohini, and the A Connection team enough from the bottom of our hearts for all of the hard work, dedication, commitment, and passion they put in to...
deliver our dream wedding for us. It’s incredible how much synergy and coordination they have with each other as well as with all of our vendors and partners. Everything worked out so well and very smoothly. We definitely understand and agree that, as the bride and groom, we have absolutely nothing to worry or stress about. As long as the exceptional squad at A Connection is there, your events are going to be a success. We truly enjoyed each and every moment from the last whole week of our wedding and it genuinely would not have been possible without their continued efforts and support. Truly, Abha, Rohini, and team are real professionals in this industry and they really know how to not just throw a party, but also enjoy every single minute of it along the way. We’re so glad to have become closer with them throughout the journey as well. Once again, we heartily thank A Connection so much for ensuring our wedding was perfect, and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any and all events, functions, and parties!
Three days. Countless moving parts. Zero stress. That’s what we got with A Connection! Abha, Rohini, and their rockstar team absolutely crushed our sangeet, wedding, and reception—...
turning what could have been chaos into pure magic.
From hyping up our sangeet dance floor to keeping our wedding day running like clockwork to making the reception feel like a once-in-a-lifetime party, they handled everything with precision, personality, and a whole lot of heart. We never had to worry for a second! They anticipated every need, smoothed every bump, and somehow kept the energy high from start to finish.
Beyond their skill, what stood out most was their warmth and genuine care. They treated our celebration and all events, whether intimate or grand, like it was their own. They truly integrated themselves into our occasion, cheering us on and making sure we could soak up every moment. If you want a team that’s equal parts pro, planner, and party starter, A Connection is it. Hands down, the dream team.
We could not have asked for a better wedding planning team than A Connection! From our very first meeting to the last moments of our wedding weekend, they were professional, organi...
zed, and truly cared about making our day perfect.
A huge thank you to Abha and Rohini, who were the absolute backbone of the entire process. They guided us through every decision, kept us on track with timelines, and always had creative solutions ready. Their attention to detail and ability to anticipate our needs made the planning process so much smoother and stress-free.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Ami, Riya, and Priya for all their hard work during the wedding weekend. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran flawlessly — from managing vendors to making sure we were comfortable and taken care of.
Thanks to A Connection, we were able to truly enjoy our wedding and focus on celebrating with our loved ones, knowing everything was in the best hands. We’re so grateful for their dedication, hard work, and genuine passion for what they do. If you’re looking for a wedding planning team that will treat your big day like it’s their own, look no further than A Connection!

tional. Every element—from timelines and vendor coordination to the tiniest décor choices—was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed. It was clear they had a deep understanding of what it takes to bring a vision to life and went above and beyond to ensure nothing was overlooked.
What stood out the most was their communication. A Connection was always available, responsive, and incredibly clear. Whether it was a quick question or a last-minute change, they handled everything with calm professionalism and kept us in the loop at all times. We never felt stressed or out of control, because we knew we were in the best hands.
They also brought a level of warmth and reassurance that made the entire process enjoyable. My friend’s wedding day was everything we hoped for and more—seamless, beautiful, and full of joy. That wouldn’t have been possible without their dedication and hard work behind the scenes.
We’re so grateful to have had A Connection by our side and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a detail-oriented, communicative, and genuinely passionate planner.

he most special weekend of our lives. Everyone was stunned at the service, support, and kindness they received from the girls at A Connection. Abha and Rohini began helping me plan about 8 months ago, and made every single vision of mine come to life beautifully. There is nothing they won’t do. They made my life stress-free leading up to the wedding and went absolutely over the top. I also have to give a special shoutout to Ami, Riya, and Priya who helped organize, coordinate, and make everything come together during the wedding weekend. These ladies are so sweet, helpful, selfless and just simply the best planners I could have ever asked for. I will never stop singing their praises and recommending them to anyone looking for wedding and event planning services. I love A CONNECTION! 💗

From last minute vendor recommendations for things like draping and paan, to making sure we were fed the day of, A Connection was on top of it all. Highly recommended if you're in need of planners/coordinators for any event!

remony in the morning and a reception in the evening — they were everywhere and nowhere all at once, handling every moving part with grace and precision, like true wedding-day ninjas.
Their attention to logistics was flawless: every vendor was managed perfectly, the key ceremony moments and dance performances were captured by the photographer seamlessly, and everything ran like clockwork. But beyond the operational excellence, what truly set them apart was their heart. They made sure the bride was well-fed, hydrated, and had moments of rest. They even helped tracking lost and found items after the event had wrapped up.
Their presence was warm, affectionate, and calming. If you want a wedding team that combines sharp professionalism with genuine care, Rohini and Abha are it. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make the day unforgettable.

Their presence and genuine care for making our day special really stood out! We are so grateful for all their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and talented wedding planner/coordinator!
What a treat to work with Rohini and her team. I was only a cousin of the bride, yet I was able to help out with small things here and there whenever possible. Rohini and her team ...
planned a great wedding and organized everything perfectly. And even when we off technically off the clock, she was still working hard on the event and making sure everything went smoothly. And even as a bonus, we managed to convince her to join in on the fun that she planned, whether that be on the dance floor or in some videos. Definitely would recommend!

icked up the phone, we had a lovely call, and signed that very day.
I’m so glad we got the opportunity to work with A Connection. Without them, our wedding day would have been so much more stressful. They took care of every single detail, right from the wakeup call (4 am) to making sure we got home safe after the wedding (1:30 am). One of our friends thought they were our family members; that’s the amount of commitment and dedication they invest into your wedding. Rohini made sure my wife napped between the 2 events and handed her a blanket, lovingly named Pepito, which she then asked her to keep.
We can't thank them enough for all the hours and work they put in. They would make a great choice for your wedding or any other event. We'd highly recommend --- 10/10!!

I’m so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator who is both kind and extremely capable and organized.

Like any planning process, there were a few hiccups, but the way their team handled each situation with professionalism and grace made the entire journey worthwhile. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for dedicated, reliable planners. Rohini and Abha are not just our wedding planners—they’ve become great friends and our go-to team for all future events!

plan my wedding. Abha and Rohini helped my husband and I plan our 2 weekend big fat Pakistani/Indian wedding in just 6 months! And if I do say so myself, this wasn’t a small or an average wedding. It was the kind of wedding that had people talking for days and admiring their efficiency. Both of our parents were so impressed with how responsive and communicative Abha, Rohini, and their entire team was and they verbally recommended them to every uncle and auntie who commented on how well organized the wedding was! I remember being overwhelmed with all the wedding details after we got engaged because I didn’t even know where to look for my vision. Seeing all the weddings I had been to, I figured I’d have to settle for mediocre decor but the moment we started working with A Connection and I sent over my decor inspo in our group chat, Abha instantly recommended the best decor people in the business and before we knew it, we were working with them. Not only do you get access to a dream team when they plan your wedding, but you literally get A Connection discounts with all your vendors because Abha and Rohini have such great relationships with them all. We had the best of the best vendors in the industry and I know we wouldn’t have found them on our own, considering how saturated the wedding industry really is. Abha and Rohini recommended the best photography/videography team and you can truly see how gifted they are in their work the moment you go in and meet with them. Some of the vendors they recommended to us became nonnegotiable for my husband and I, like Ami Video. Not only were all our vendors good at what they do, but they were so pleasant to work with!
Abha and Rohini truly shined their brightest on the day of our events. I thought I’d be a type A bride who would have everything done and prepared before the wedding day but there were so many little things that went wrong or I forgot to take care of but that’s where Abha stepped up and took care of it all. She literally made multiple runs to the dollar store to get whatever I needed for my entrance! They literally went beyond their jobs and made sure my husband and I ate, stayed hydrated and even fixed us up before our entrances! Abha is literally my spirit animal and we’re so similar that this entire process left us all as good friends because we shared so many laughs and inside jokes. As proof of that friendship, this is what your relationship with your wedding planner should look like. We love you Abha and Rohini!! #CRNs for life!!

he pleasure of working with them directly to ensure the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. The day before, they facilitated a thorough meeting, going over the itinerary and timeline in detail. They also provided valuable information about the photo shoots, the bride's hair and makeup, and the timing for when the couple needed to be ready or on the move.
Rohini and Abha went above and beyond with the special touches, handling everything from coordinating with the caterers to liaising with decorators and other vendors. They kept things running smoothly and ensured that any issues or hiccups were dealt with quickly and professionally, without letting anything cause stress for the bride and groom. It was such a pleasure working with them, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless, stress-free wedding experience!

rofessionalism to every aspect of the planning process, but they also went far beyond what was outlined in the contract to ensure that all the event days were perfect. Their fluency in Gujarati and Hindi was a game-changer for us, as they seamlessly communicated with both sides of the family, Pandit, and vendors ensuring everyone felt included and understood. It made such a difference and added a personal touch that we’ll always treasure.
Throughout the planning process, Rohini and Abha were more than just wedding planners/coordinators —they became our friend and confidante, always going the extra mile to make sure we felt supported. From late-night calls to coordinating with vendors on short notice, they were there every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, everything ran like clockwork, and the whole family was able to relax and enjoy ourselves, knowing A Connection had every detail covered.

Abha anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and ensured that the entire planning process was seamless. She along with her partner Rohini managed all the vendors with ease, and kept everything on track, all while being so approachable and supportive.
On both the Mehndi/Henna event and wedding day, everything was perfect. We didn’t have to worry about a thing because we knew we were in great hands. Our guests were blown away by the beauty, organization, and overall flow of the events. We truly felt like Abha and Rohini took the time to understand who we are as a family and made our vision come to life.
