About this vendor
You've heard it from your friends - “the wedding day passes by so quickly!" and they're right - it really does fly by. Our couples are always so glad they chose to invest in a film they can watch over and over to enjoy the day and remember each moment of it. All the big and small moments of the day. While you're getting ready. Laughing with your bridal party. Your first dance. Your grandparents clapping and cheering as you kiss for the first time as husband and wife. The way your grin widens as you exit the ceremony triumphantly. Real smiles, big hugs, and half-second glances.
Those moments are ours to capture and yours to relive. Not just the sights, but the sounds - of glasses clinking, friends cheering, and of course your own voices, speaking the words that change the course of your life. Of course, the last thing you'll want to worry about on your wedding day is a film crew. So we stay out of your way... you'll never even notice we're there. But that doesn't mean we aren't capturing everything - because we do. Our films evoke the feelings and emotions on your wedding day. Memories that all perfectly preserved for years, and generations to come.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie and our experience working with her! From our very first conversation through receiving our final wedding film, she was an absolu...
te joy to work with. Katie made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Her calm, friendly presence allowed us to be ourselves and truly enjoy every moment of our wedding day.
One of our favorite surprises was receiving our teaser film so quickly after the wedding. We were able to watch it while on our honeymoon, and it was such a special experience to relive the day together just days after it happened. We immediately shared it with family and friends, and everyone was just as amazed as we were.
When we received our full wedding film, we were completely blown away. Katie captured the emotion, joy, and love of the day so beautifully. Every detail, every meaningful moment, and every feeling was woven together in a way that felt authentic and heartfelt. It was wonderful to see moments that we didn't even notice on the day of the wedding. The music selection, storytelling, and flow of the film were absolutely perfect. Watching it brought back all the emotions from the day, and both sets of our parents called us in happy tears after seeing it.
Our wedding film is truly one of our most treasured keepsakes, and we are so grateful for the care, talent, and artistry Katie poured into it. We are endlessly thankful to have had her as part of our wedding day and could not recommend her more highly.
We couldn’t be happier with the amazing work done by our wedding videography team, 97 Films! From the very first interaction to the final delivery, everything was seamless, profess...
ional, and full of heart. They captured every emotion, every laugh, and every beautiful detail of our special day in the most cinematic and heartfelt way possible.
Watching our wedding film truly feels like reliving the day all over again — the editing, music, and storytelling were absolutely breathtaking. We really enjoyed the same day edit and 10 minute summary film!
The team was so kind, patient, and easy to work with — they made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and went above and beyond to ensure nothing was missed.
We’re beyond grateful for the memories they’ve preserved for us. If you’re looking for a videography team that genuinely cares about their craft and their couples, look no further — this is the dream team! Thank you 97 Films!!
Katie and her team were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding in October 2024. From the start, we felt so comfortable around her, and she brought such a fun, positive ener...
gy. The videos turned out beautifully and were delivered right on time. We’ve already watched them several times and love sharing them with our family and friends. We had a pretty large wedding, but Katie and her team still managed to capture all the little moments that made the day so special. Their attention to detail shine through in every video. I would recommend 97 Films to anyone looking for a wedding videographer!
When I was planning my wedding, I got a lot of opinions on how to cut costs and I heard often “skip a videographer”. I heard everything from “we never watched ours” to “I paid and ...
big moments were missing” to “the selection of music is awkward and it ruins it”. I of course was slightly nervous when I decided to do a videographer, and reflecting on my experience, I have to conclude that all of those opinions were from couples who didn’t hire the right videographer. Along with my wedding planner, Katie from 97 films was actually my vendor who knew me the best. Having her and the team at my wedding actually relaxed me because it felt like my friend was just there to celebrate me and my now husband.
I originally hired Katie and 97 Films because she offered something I have never heard of or seen before. A DAY OF video. So she literally shoots your wedding prep/ceremony and produces a film THAT SAME DAY. My husband and I had some older family members in attendance that we wanted to share our day with and wow did Katie deliver. I still do not understand how this came together so quickly. I had a lot of beautiful things at my wedding but our day of video was the surprise that kept coming up as a crowd favorite. Everyone was floored, I was floored, my husband was floored. My reaction was caught by my photographer (see attached) and it sums up exactly how I felt. We then got ANOTHER video of our wedding very quickly and it also made me cry ugly tears. The music, the shots, the moments that were included - everything is so perfect. The day flew by but I am able to relive the most important moments over and over again. But don’t take my word for it, watch them here and see what it’s like when you hire the right videographer.

Talent wise, Katie is in another league, all shots are flattering, perfectly framed with a clear eye for beauty. There’s no “fluff” added to make a certain length video, both my videos are cohesive, romantic and custom. She really is a storyteller who just happens to also be skilled with a camera. Somehow even better than the actual talent was the experience and prep for the videos. Katie, my husband and I met to get some behind the scene footage and for her to learn more about us. Every meeting and interaction with her was so relaxed and we all ended up having lunch together because it felt so natural. Basically working with Katie is like lucking into having a best friend who also happens to be the best cinematographer. Coming into my wedding day I had no nerves, and didn’t feel the need to micromanage because I knew I’d be happy. My advice-don’t skip the videographer, but make sure you hire the right one. Katie is the right one.

ading up to the big day and so fun to work with the day-of. Katie was also extremely prompt in getting us our reel and trailer so we could post on social media (someone said it looked just like a Hallmark movie commercial!). If you're on the fence about the additional expense of a videographer, I couldn't recommend Katie and her team at 97 Films enough. So worth having your big day captured so that you can watch for years to come <3
Katie and her team did an AMAZING job!! They were so easy to work with and so responsive whenever I had questions. They were able to turn around our wedding trailer in less than a ...
week and get all of our full length videos to us in under 8 weeks. They did a beautiful job with all of the films and I cannot stop rewatching all of them! Katie has even been kind enough to give me a few small clips separately from the large wedding video so that I can have them to share easily! I highly recommend them for your wedding!

nce on the day of the wedding. She even made sure I had a drink in my hand during the reception. They managed to be there with us throughout the day without being intrusive during the ceremony and reception. We were thrilled with the final video and we will continue to recommend this company.
Katie and the entire 97 Films crew were easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding vendors. Her communication via phone and email was fast throughout the entire plann...
ing process and her flexibility was amazing when unforeseen circumstances came up. Her film style was creative, attentive to small details, heartwarming, and upbeat- the exact vibe we were going for. We had a multi-day Indian wedding and she made sure to capture all the traditional rituals that were important to our families throughout the course of the weekend. She went out of her way to come to my house while I was getting my henna done, just to add that into the video and I could not be more thankful. The team was amazing with going off-site with us for some video coverage the morning before the ceremony as well. 97 Films created an AMAZING same day edit film that we played at our reception and it was an absolutely beautiful montage of our wedding weekend- I still can’t stop watching it! Katie became more than just a wedding vendor to us- she became part of our family and truly got to know us as people. She was there to lend a hand whenever we needed anything, even if it was not related to videography. I am forever grateful to 97 Films for giving us something so special that we will treasure for the rest of our lives- 10/10 recommend to anyone!
97Films did an incredible job of capturing our Indian Wedding Celebration. From the temple ceremony, baraat, entrances, first dances, they got it all. They even got drone footage! ...

r was ill. Katie stepped up and decided to record our wedding and I can't thank her enough for it. She was so amazing, She was there for every big thing that I wanted recorded and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing video of their wedding day. I have already recommended her to numerous people.
Katie and team are fantastic. They were professional, fun, relatable and exactly what we were looking for on our special day. They captured every amazing moment of our wedding day....

ing wedding short film that I will cherish forever. Aside from her work, she was so kind, flexible, and patient! I was pretty specific in what I liked and didn't like in wedding videos and she was so accommodating and understanding of my vision. She made us all feel more than just a job for her. She took time to get to know us, cared about our other interests, and was SO reliable and communicative through text messaging. She stuck by us through all of the uncertainties of COVID and was just so easy to work with. She cared about our well being during the actual wedding day, always lending a hand if she saw we needed anything at all. I HIGHLY recommend Katie and 97 films! She truly helped make my wedding weekend so special and I have a beautiful video to re-watch all of the best highlights for the rest of my life, thanks to her:)

rough the process of planning and realizing how many people wouldn't be able to make it our wedding, we decided to get one so we would be able to share the memories with people. After the experience we had and the products we received I cannot stress to future brides how much I recommend Katie and her team. If I had to do it again, they would be one of the first calls in my planning process.
The day of the wedding was seamless, from Katie arriving while I was getting ready with bridesmaids, to her getting to our venue and capturing moments of my husband and his groomsman, making us laugh and just being an all around amazing person throughout the whole day. She captured so many moments I didn't get to see and I can't even count how many times I've already watched our tracks.
Speaking of, our trailer was done and I got it while we were still on our honeymoon, the week after the wedding. The full recap, ceremony and complete coverage were ready in record time. I can't even imagine how much time they spent reviewing all of the footage and the end product was outstanding.
If you are considering a videographer, or if you are not, you should definitely go with the 97 Films team, you will not be disappointed. I hope I have a need to use them in the future for something!

and, and Katie was so easygoing and made you feel comfortable while filming! She went above and beyond for our same day film. She even included some shots from AFTER the ceremony while taking photos during cocktail hour, and had them included in the film that we played right after our grand entrance. It was amazing how fast she shot and edited!! It absolutely WOW’d our guests. They have not stopped talking about it! Do not hesitate— book with 97 Films now!!

including biking behind our horse and carriage for those shots! She was very flexible with adding on time last minute and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. She was even sure to capture the little details that mattered most to us that other vendors may have missed if they hadn't triple checked. Would 1000% recommend her!

h (before AND during the pandemic!) After a year of planning (and four weeks to spare) we moved our wedding plans from Detroit, MI to Naples, FL. Katie was flexible and patient, and made us feel at ease when circumstances and plans were changing daily.
With COVID regulating our guest count, it was important to us to capture our wedding weekend for our family and friends who couldn't travel to celebrate with us. Katie blew us away with her work and made it her priority to ensure we loved our film. We're thrilled to have it forever!

turned out AMAZING! She captured our wedding perfectly and made it fun. Plus, there were little things like grabbing me beers from the bar when I got too busy, made sure my bridesmaids took their hair ties off their wrists, had everyone spit out their gum... the list goes on & on. Book her for your wedding, you won’t regret it!!!

nematographer, but with all of the restricitons and family not coming, it was a no brainer. We've had a few connections to 97 Films already, and we were thrilled that they were available to capture our day! Katie was super easy to talk to and answered any questions that we had for her! She and her associate Shelly were fantastic and so genuine in asking what else that we needed and were there for us! Highly recommend!
97 Films was all around fantastic. My wife and I wanted to start by saying that before going into our story about why they were so amazing. During a pandemic and making a somewhat ...
last-minute decision to have a cinematographer, Katie and team came through with flying colors. My parents decided they wanted to be involved in the planning of 97 Films shooting our special day. Katie was not only dealing with talking to us, because she knows we had the vision, but she also worked with my parents directly as well for a seamless conversation. Katie was more than happy to work within out budget and meet our big asks when it came to what we were looking for out of a wedding video. The day of was great and they were a huge part of that. Our turnaround for the complete package was fast and we could not be happier to relive our special day through their lenses as soon as possible.

We had a blast hanging out with them all day and night.

ichigan from Arizona so I didn't get a chance to meet her in person before the wedding day but we did speak on the phone. On the day of, she was funny, comfortable, non-intrusive and worked so well with my photography team. It was a joy spending our day with 97 Films. Our video was delivered quickly and is high quality. We'll cherish it forever.
From the initial inquiry to receiving our final videos, Katie Simopoulos and her team at 97 Films were a dream to work with!
When we first met I knew Katie genuinely wanted to get...
to know my spouse and I. She made it very clear that she wanted the client and her to have chemistry, and I’m so grateful for that. If we didn’t have chemistry, working with them would have been uncomfortable. They were there capturing some of the most intimate moments of the day – my mother helping me into my gown, our first look, and tears of joy during our vows.
The team was so pleasant to be around and at moments throughout the day I forgot they were even following us around. They really wanted to capture the raw moments rather than staging something just to get a ‘good clip’. Every time we watch our video, we are so thankful it was authentic, real, and is a true testament to our love for one another and our family. They worked closely with our photographers to find the perfect locations around the city to shoot. Our locations were perfect!
Being honest, I was on the fence about getting a videographer for our big day – and I’m sure many brides are in the same boat as I was but let me tell you it was the best decision I could have ever made! The day flies by so quick and your adrenaline takes over your entire memory. There were so many moments throughout the day I completely forgot about. It’s been great to watch the video and relive it over and over again. Our ceremony video is something we’ll cherish for the rest of our life and we can’t wait to share it with our children and our children’s children.
One of the funniest parts about our film is the reception. We were out on the dance floor all evening and the crew got hilarious clips of the good, bad, and the ugly. We laughed so hard at the film and were so glad we got to watch it all over again with a bowl of popcorn and in much more comfortable clothing.
If I could give one bit of advice to a bride thinking about booking 97 Films it would be BOOK RIGHT NOW! You’ll be so happy you did. If you’re still unsure, talk to Katie because she really put your mind at ease. We’re so thankful to have worked with her team and grateful we gained a friend out of it.
The best and easiest to work with! So fun and made me feel so comfortable! We also got the trailer within a few days!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME! Go with 97 films!

ts. Katie is very friendly and her whole team is very professional. What separates Katie from the rest, in my opinion, is her flexibility to work with you. She is not a set in stone type of videographer where you only get what you get. She finds a way to make things work for you on your big day because she understands the importance of how much things cost and the value a film can bring to capturing once in a lifetime moments.

d the way she and her team capture the special moments of the weddings they do. Hiring Katie was one of the best decisions we made. The day of, she and her fellow team member made us feel so comfortable. They stayed behind the scenes all day but were everywhere at the same time. Katie made us a trailer, a video, and gave us all of our raw footage and they have all turned out incredible. We are so fortunate to have so many keepsakes from that day thanks to her. Our family and friends loved all of the videos and we know we will treasure them for years to come!

mediately put my mind at ease. She's down to earth, knowledgeable, professional, and extremely talented. I could not be more thankful that we chose her to work with. Katie and her team made sure they captured all of the shots I wanted and more. Katie got my trailer back to me a few days after my wedding, and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect wedding video. My husband and I can't stop watching it! I HIGHLY recommend 97 Films. Hands down the best decision I made for my wedding day!

our photographer for suggestions on a videographer and she recommend 97 Films. The 97 Films team did an AMAZING job with our wedding video. We opted for the package with a trailer, artistically composed wedding film, and our ceremony & reception. We cannot stop watching our videos and have received so many compliments from people about how great the trailer and film are. The entire 97 Films team was pleasant, professional, and totally unobtrusive on the wedding day! I would highly recommend 97 Films!

Katie was there for the entire day from our getting ready time to some serious dancing. I really appreciated that she was so stealth about getting her video. I know she got some amazing, candid video.
She and her other videographer were with us during the photo session in advance of the ceremony, and they made sure that we were comfortable and always had water or drinks available. They truly are an amazing team!

Our highlight video was edited and posted within a week following the wedding for our family and friends to share. The quality is amazing and will serve as a timeless memory of our day. In addition to being super talented, Katie is down-to-Earth and working with her felt like we were working with a friend (not to mention she let our groomsmen borrow her car to run an errand while we took pictures!). She made sure she asked about every detail that we might want to capture, so she wouldn't miss any important moments. We highly recommend Katie and the 97 films team!

ith them. Friendly, professional and easy to work with. We received the video trailer, which we were able to share very easily on social media, and we all agreed, it was the best laugh and cry we have ever had in a two minute plus segment. 97 Films captured us, and the moment, perfectly. Originally we were not going to incorporate a video into the wedding, all I can say is thank goodness we did not make that mistake, best addition into our budget we made. Fantastic memories I will want to watch over and over again.

g) and they were such a blast to work with! Not only were they super organized and on top of everything from the get go, they were one of the most thoughtful vendors we worked with throughout the entire planning process. From the initial card expressing their excitement to film our wedding all the way to the surprise same day edit they unveiled at our reception, and the many post-production questions we've hurled their way, 97 Films has truly been exceptional and we can't imagine anyone else capturing one of the most important moments of our lives! Needless to say - the final products are stunning! Indian weddings have a lot of specific rituals and Katie took the time to understand each one so she could capture the perfect shots....look no further than the 97 Films crew for your videography needs...they're truly the best in the business!

ring the three day wedding weekend. She did this to ensure that all the important moments for us were documented. Her entire team honestly was available to us 24/7. My favorite part was the fact that I almost forgot there was a videographer there. I mean this in the best way possible. I dislike going to events where the videographer is standing in front of all the guests or in the middle of the dance floor while speeches or entertainment is going on. I would look around and find them hiding in the most random places getting the most amazing shots of our events. They also did the unthinkable. They surprised us with a same-day edit video. It was something we were not expecting because we hadn't requested one. She spent all day putting it together with her team and it was truly breathtaking. I recommend 97 films to anyone who is looking for a videographer who will capture all the best memories for you.

he videographer scene, would do an amazing job capturing my wedding. They certainly did not disappoint! Katie had worked for another videography company before branching out and forming 97 Films, so she definitely knew what she was doing. She was warm and really engaged and helpful during the whole process. She answered any questions I had (and I had a TON since I was planning my wedding from four hours away) and was really great about helping me get exactly what I was looking for. I would book them again in a heartbeat. My "teaser" was done THE DAY AFTER the wedding, and my trailer was done within a week. I received the highlight reel within two, I think, and had the entire thing (the whole package) within three or four. I was blown away by the quality and attention to detail. The video looked like a movie! The film was high quality, the shots and perspectives were interesting, and it was amazing to see "our story" on our TV. This is definitely a company you can trust to truly capture your big day. People think they can get away with skipping a videographer to save money--my advice is DON'T. You will be so happy to have those moments captured, and you should have 97 Films be there to do it.
