About this vendor
Hey, gorgeous! I'm Stephanie - a wedding and portrature photographer based in Duluth, MN!
I will go ahead and say it - I have fallen in love with love and the way it can be captured within a photo forever. Going over the little details I planned for my wedding day, I realized that one of the most important decisions I made was my wedding photographer. The photos they captured for me are heirlooms I will look back on forever... from getting ready in the morning to the last dance.
Understanding both sides of wedding photography as a once bride and as a vendor, I have a unique and valuable perspective about what's important on the wedding day.
Shoot me an email - let's meet for coffee, get to know each other, and make something magical happen!

Great pictures, but very hard to get in contact with. 7 months later, we are still waiting for our wedding album.
We were referred to Stephanie through a family member as I loved her wedding photos- and ours turned out just as beautiful! Stephanie was kind, calm, and helped guide us through ho...
w to pose, but not in a way that felt “posed”. She was fantastic!
We knew Stephanie well before she photographed our wedding, so bear that in mind as you read this review, but she was a pillar in our day and I'll always remember her kindness.

ROFESSIONALISM: She stepped up to help pin on boutonnieres when no one else really knew how to do it, of course, because she is so involved in the wedding industry and was ready to help. There wasn't a moment I had to even THINK about planning for her or around her, she was just THERE, capturing everything, and helping out wherever she could.
PHOTO QUALITY: When I say these photos are magnificent, I mean it. I mean, WOW! Absolutely nothing lacking here, and each and every photo is something to write home about. They're gorgeous, she did everything we asked, caught every posed photo we asked for, and curated her own list of additional poses, groups, and specific moments that I'm so thankful I'll get to remember forever.
PERSONALITY: Stephanie is bubbly but to the point, blunt but always laughing. She's so professional when she needs to be, and also enjoys your wedding day right along with you. If you can get along with MOST people, you'll do wonderfully with Stephanie. She's so kind and so knowledgeable. She'll be answering your questions before you ask them.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Again, bear in mind that Stephanie was my friend before she was my wedding photographer, but I would 17/10 recommend 81 Studios Photography for your wedding. It's one of my greatest joys to know I'll be able to reflect on the memory of my wedding day and it will always include her.
Thanks so much, Stephanie, we love you so much! <3 - CH, 10/8/2022

ed and experienced, she knows the best lighting, angles, etc. and is your own personal hype woman. She spent ALL day taking pictures for us and honestly went above and beyond with multiple locations where we wanted to take pictures. She also gave really good insight on best timing of when to take photos if you're taking outdoor pictures. She was able to help us stay organized while taking family, friend, and wedding party photos, which was immensely helpful during a day that can be stressful. We have had multiple people say that our photos are the best wedding photos they've ever seen, we are so happy with how they turned out. We could not recommend her more. Book her now!!

ion she recommended! Our wedding plans changed several times throughout the last year due to COVID, but Stephanie was always willing to make changes to our agreement, offering us guidance on what we would need based on our new plans. Her expertise made these decisions effortless on our end.
The day of the wedding, she was very punctual and got right to work! Kept us on schedule as best she could, announcing when it was time to get certain shots. The first look was SO special and something I’ll never forget. Stephanie’s presence was there, but she also kept the balance to ensure it was “our” moment as a couple. She made sure no one was interrupting or distracting us, which was great.
I am forever grateful for our wedding album, as they truly depict the perfect day. I have received so many compliments as to how many photos we received in our gallery, which definitely makes it hard to pick out favorites, but I’m so happy to have an abundance to look back on. The way Stephanie organizes the gallery takes you back through every step of the day, beginning to end. Every feeling and memory come back so vividly. So perfect! Highly recommend.

She and her team work incredibly hard to capture every detail of your day exactly how you want it! My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our photos nor with our photography experience, and would definitely recommend 81 Studios!

all my questions. She had plenty of poses for us and was so easy to work with. We got our sneak peek and were completely blown away.
