Rooshi and Daniel traveled all the way from New York to Baltimore to DJ our wedding and my husband and I could not be happier with how the night went! They worked wonderfully with...
the venue coordinators as well as our Hindu priest to make sure the entire day, from ceremony to party, went smoothly. They played a fantastic mix of Bollywood, old faves, and new hits that kept everyone from the oldest Indian auntie to my 2 year-old nephew on the floor all night! We love Rooshi and Daniel so much and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks, guys!!!
Daniel and Rooshi were nothing short of fantastic! My wife and I were looking for a DJ duo for our outdoor wedding to play a mix of latin/greek/house/top 40 alongside a full band. ...
Our request was also super last minute. 5 Boro came to the rescue and delivered a evening that our guests are still talking about. Since I am a professional DJ/artist my standards were unnaturally high for what I wanted at my wedding. I wanted real music connoisseurs who could actually mix appropriately and across a complex situation with unusually specific music requests. 5 Boro delivered in spades. They were absolute gentlemen, looked fantastic (let's be honest - this is important for weddings) and abided by all the rules the venue had regarding sound. I would book them again in a heartbeat!
I needed a DJ last minute for my brother’s 30th birthday and 5 Boro Sounds were a life saver. They were responsive, professional and super flexible with timing and coordinating wit...
h the live band also playing at the event. The party was a total success with guests commenting on the music days later. I enjoyed my experience with them and highly recommend them.
We were so incredibly lucky to have Rooshi and his colleague DJ our wedding! Prior to our big day we were able to connect with him on our must-plays, no-plays, and our likes and di...
slikes. He took it all into account as he built an epic playlist for our celebration and surprised us with some new tunes as well. Overall, Rooshi did a great job keeping the night on schedule and had our guests dancing with a high-paced and fun spirit!
We had Rooshi & Co DJ our wedding. They were great! The music mix was diverse and upbeat. They read the room perfectly. All around fantastic organization. We would recommend 5Boro...

We worked with Rooshi and Daniel. Daniel was the DJ for the wedding. He was fantastic and very professional. He not only spoke with me on the phone, but met with my fiance and I a...
t the venue to nail down all the logistics before the big day.
The day of he was on time, has no issues with equipment for both the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and of course played a fantastic mix of music. He kept people dancing all night long. My fiance and I even had a custom song for our first dance because we were doing a surprise tap dance and he helped us execute it flawlessly.
Would definitely recommend!
Rooshi was amazingly punctual and professional. The music he played was exactly what we wanted and his skills at mixing the tracks were perfect! Highly, highly recommend his compan...

Danny and Rooshi were amazing to work with and were great communicators so the process went smoothly. We were nervous leading up to our initial call bc we needed a good mix of clas...
sic/new Spanish songs and classic/new US wedding songs. Rooshi did a great job of making suggestions, setting expectations and calming our nerves. To simplify the process they sent us a form to fill in for songs we wanted playing for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception intros, first dances etc. They were pumping the jams and had the dance floor busy all night long. I also made the snap decision to extend the reception an hour and they were extremely amenable to it. All went without a hitch, couldn’t have been happier.
Rooshi and his team were truly amazing. They were reasonably priced and so easy to work with. After an initial meeting, Rooshi put together some proposed Spotify playlists for each...
part of our event (mingling, dinner, dancing). We then used these playlists as a starting point to give him feedback about our vision and a handful of key songs we wanted to include/exclude. The final product of songs he played showed how clearly he had listened and understood our concept. At the same time, he was able to adjust to the mood of the event and play songs that got people on the dance floor. He also adapted smoothly and seamlessly when little hiccups in the event forced us to switch around the timeline.
Our friends and family, both young and old, have been telling us since our wedding about how amazing the DJ was. Every time I left the dance floor, I had to turn right back around again because they were playing something that I COULD NOT miss. When we started planning our wedding, the most important thing was a fun party with good dancing, and 5 Boro Sounds made this happen.
Rooshi is fantastic. In the weeks and days leading up to the wedding, he communicated promptly and professionally, even when we started bombarding him with last-minute song request...
s and do-not-plays. On the big day, he did an excellent job setting the mood as we progressed through the ceremony, happy hour, dinner, and reception. With just a few suggestions from us, he was able to fill the hours with just the right music. We especially appreciate his incorporation of our feedback, and that he wasn't afraid to push back a little bit and offer his own advice when we started veering a little too far down certain paths. He is a calming presence among all the wedding craziness! Thank you so much to Rooshi and 5 Boro Sounds for being one of the least stressful parts of the whole wedding process and the rockin' dance floor.
Absolutely fantastic service. We worked with Rooshi and he was great to deal with, he was very responsive and he made us a spotify list that we shared with our family and friends t...
o get great suggestions added.
They were on time and were very easy to work with, I would certainly recommend them.
Our wedding was at the Midtown Loft and Terrace in Manhattan and we had only 80 people in attendance, however, 5 Boro Sounds had everyone on the dance floor!
Reliable, flexible and personalized service. Extremely satisfied. Daniel has great sense of listening and sensitiveness. He first took care of understanding the escense of our need...
s and then took proactive actions to accomplish the goal. Most than that, the day's previous to the event was my favorite vendor handling stress, taking control of the last minute requests. The day of the event: the 3 guys were spectacular!
Great music and the DJ really knows how to liven up the crowd. The prices are extremely affordable and the DJ is really professional.
daniel, raul and rooshi were the best djs for our nyc wedding!! they met with us several times before our big day to see the venue, work on a play (and DO NOT play) list, and calm ...
some crazy bride jitters. the night of they kept the dance floor moving and did such a great job with the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. i would very highly recommend them. they each bring their own sound to the dance floor but will of course stick to what the couple wants as well. i got married 3 weeks ago and my feet are still sore from dancing all night!
