"Many of you know, perhaps a few of you don’t, that there should be an extra groomsmen up here today. Rachel’s brother, Michael, was killed in a car accident not 48 hours ago. We l...earned when we gathered for the rehearsal yesterday. We are so sorry. Joe, Cheryl, Patrick, Rachel, and Kaley our love is for you. And here we gather at this place to join this couple who have done the good, hard work already of love and relationship. And we will, in authenticity and pure love, celebrate that tonight as we should. We will do so authentically being the people we need to be for this dad, this mom, this brother, this sister, this brother in law, and this girlfriend. To be loved is all we can be."

A lot of people have asked me how I found the strength to go through with the wedding. The only answer I have is that you don't know what you will have the strength to do until you are faced with it. Originally, I called everything off and our amazing vendors stood on call waiting for word. However; under our circumstances, we could pace the house in shock, anger, and fear, or put on the dresses and show up. After all, Michael knew how important this weekend was for me. It's the reason he was coming home. I found the strength to continue through my parents and my family. You all sincerely showed up for me and George. We danced, we cried, we ate, we drank, and, ultimately at the of the day, I married the only guy I've truly had eyes for over the past nine years.
Thank you again Thomas Kemp of It Takes 2 Photo Booths and 326 Films for this video and the longer documentary film that are more precious to me than I ever thought they could be.
