We hired 312 Entertainment for our wedding reception in Chicago, and choosing them was one of the best decisions we made. From the very first planning call, they were professional,...
responsive, and truly listened to what we wanted.
DJ Akib was an absolute star behind the decks. His DJ skills are next-leve! He has an incredible ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high all night long. The dance floor was packed from the first song until the very end, and our guests are still raving about how great the music was. He seamlessly blended genres, took requests on the fly, and kept the vibe fun and inclusive for everyone from grandparents to our younger friends. His transitions were smooth, his song selection was spot-on, and he knew exactly when to turn up the energy or slow things down perfectly.
Akib was also a fantastic MC, guiding the timeline smoothly so everything flowed without any awkward pauses. The lighting and overall production added so much to the atmosphere too.
His team was the best part of our wedding and will recommend 312 to everyone we know!
Akib and Mike Jamz were amazing to work with! They were professional and knew how to keep the party going! We got so many compliments on our uplights, floor monogram and the DJ boo...
th from a decoration standpoint and everyone was on the dance floor, or running quickly back, all night long! The photobooth was also a very fun attraction and easy to use with the attendant. Even my grandparents and great aunts and uncles joined in!
Leading up to the big day both Akib (owner and DJ) and Mike (our assigned DJ) were a blast to plan with and made picking the music to our big day so easy. I would highly recommend 312 Entertainment for anyone’s wedding or any other event for that matter!
Hiring Akib as our wedding DJ was easily one of the best decisions we made. From the time dancing started until the very last song of the night, our dance floor was packed. Working...
with Akib was a great experience. He took the time to get to know what was important to us on our wedding night, and beyond exceeded our expectations. He threw an absolute party for us, and we can't even count the amount of compliments we received from our guests about how great he was. He made every part of the night for us memorable- from the grand march, to the cake cutting, cocktail hour/dinner music, first dances, and most importantly, dancing. Also, his uplighting made the vibe that much better. If you're looking for an amazing DJ for any event, Akib is your guy!
312 Entertainment is the reason people still talk about our wedding last year. We got married in April of 2022 and the experience was nothing but top notch. From planning meetings ...
to last minute changes, 312 held it down on not only the dance floor and introductions, but helped our planner stick to our timeline for our evening. We will hire 312 Entertainment for any event we throw in the future with no questions asked.
I grew up going to DJ Akib's events at NIU and knew for years he would be the DJ at my wedding. As expected Akib crushed it as always. I crowd surfed at my Wedding! 312 Entertainme...
nt goes above and beyond and we have recommended them to all of our friends who are throwing events and getting married.
I was referred to DJ Akib and 312 Entertainment from a friend who used them at their Wedding in Mexico. From the start working with Akib was so easy. He always took my calls, texts...
and emails and was super flexible with us when it came to meetings. He worked very well with our Wedding planner she loved him too! My biggest concern for our Wedding was that we wanted a big party! Our friends love to drink and dance and Akib delivered! Nonstop dancing for almost 4 hours we even ended up going an hour overtime! He is the best DJ I have ever heard and we have recommended him to at least 6 of our friends, and ALL of them are using him for their Weddings. People are still talking about our wedding and its been almost a year later.
