WOW!!!! We hired 2nd Wind to play at our wedding reception and it was PARTY! The band is so talented, so engaging, and the song selections were spot on. All of our guests were rav...
ing about them and had the most fun night dancing. We didn't have a stage for them and were a little worried about this at first, but it ended up being perfect that way!
LOOK NO FURTHER, FUTURE BRIDES AND GROOMS--- 2nd Wind Band is the absolute top of the line needed for your wedding or event... like O.M.G. Where do I even begin???
2nd wind is the...
most fun, interactive, professional one of a kind band that will forever have our friends raving. They have an amazing array of song selections, expertise, and way of carrying a crowd that I could just shout about from the mountaintops for decades to come. Edwin is a wonderful assistance in prepping our wedding reception vision and seamlessly making it a reality. We are so thankful for him and his entire crew for everything they did for our wedding. We are officially fan club members and look forward to attending any of their public events in the near future because we love them so much! 2nd Wind is full of amazing people that we are lucky to call friends for the years to come. THANK YOU ALL!!!!

This band played at my daughters wedding on 10/15/2022. They were the best band I had ever heard at any wedding. People kept asking were we found them and that they probably will...
be famous one day. They were also soooo much fun. I thank them from the top and bottom of my heart.
My husband and I were fortunate enough to stumble across 2nd Wind while browsing the various wedding websites searching for a band to provide the entertainment for our wedding rece...
ption. They had glowing reviews from others and several past performance videos posted for us to watch. We were impressed and decided to reach out!
Our wedding was in September 2021 in Lexington, KY and we booked 2nd Wind about a year in advance. Edwin (rockstar musician and band manager) was our single point of contact the entire time and was responsive by email, phone call and text. We're both music lovers and I’m a DJ who does weddings myself so we had high expectations and really wanted our reception to feel like a concert. 2nd Wind absolutely delivered! Their talent, energy and professionalism were fantastic and we’re so glad we went with them!
In the months leading up to our wedding, Edwin always made himself available, sent songlists and accommodated our requests and preferences for music and setup arrangements. I will say that we did pay for several upgrades including additional speaker setups for both our ceremony and cocktail hour, extra dance floor lighting, a three-piece horn section, and a DJ for band breaks (they brought DJ Arie who killed it!).
On the big day, they arrived promptly at the venue’s opening time as Edwin promised and worked really well with our coordinator during setup. We had some specific music requests (arranged in advance) for the band and DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and they accommodated everything. Aretha, one of their very talented vocalists, was also the evening’s MC and did a phenomenal job. The appearance of the stage, their equipment and instruments, and all the band members themselves was top notch and their music selection and energy really drew our guests in. We received numerous compliments from our guests after the wedding about the band and how much fun they had on the dance floor. Speaking of the dance floor, 2nd Wind & DJ Arie had it packed from the first song until closing time!
Please consider 2nd Wind for your next event – they won’t disappoint!

Best wedding band out there. Extremely talented and fun. Everyone danced the entire night. Made the day really special and unforgettable.
2nd Wind is the best! We could not recommend a better, more engaging band for your wedding, or for any event! Edwin with 2nd Wind was extremely easy and pleasant to work with throu...
ghout the planning process. The band showed up on time, were very professional and FUN! We had several wedding guests that took cards from 2nd Wind, many who told us 2nd Wind was the best wedding band they had ever seen & several guests messaged us afterwards asking for the name of the wedding band so that they could keep 2nd Wind Band in mind for future events!
We found 2nd Wind's website the August before our June wedding. We saw some videos on their site and then watched them perform live about a week later. We handed them a deposit c...
heck on site and it was the best decision we made!! They were by far the best wedding band I've watched perform and our entire group is STILL raving about them. They are so engaging, the entire band has so much energy and everyone in the crowd could feel it. Edwin, the manager & keyboardist, executed on every little request I made. There wasn't one song forgotten. They will get your wedding going. This is THE Cincinnati wedding band to get, don't look any further.
2nd Wind was AMAZING! They had all of our guests on the dance floor the minute it opened, till the final song. Our guests can't stop raving about how great 2nd Wind was. They made ...
our reception phenomenal; they were easy to work with, played a wide range of music, and really gauged what the guests wanted to hear. I cant recommend this band enough, they were truly great.
2nd Wind was unbelievable. Not only are they talented musicians, but they are kind, entertaining, fun and amazing to work with! They had our dance floor packed the entire night! ...
No one wanted the night to end because it felt like we were at a concert. They have done several weddings and family parties in the past, and it feels like they are a part of the family!
My wife and I hired 2nd Wind while planning our Ohio wedding from Belgium where we lived. We based it off of their YouTube clips and family members who were able to go listen to o...
ne of their tailgate performances. Neither did them justice! They were outstanding - way better than the YouTube clips can show (and we thought those clips were pretty good!). The band was extremely professional throughout the reception, and they are experienced enough to go with how the crowd feels.
Early in the evening, a May heat wave drove some of our guests away from the dance floor (we had our reception inside a small barn). 2nd Wind didn't skip a beat - they kept flowing with their set, maintained energy even with just a few people dancing, and continued to provide us with some quality music.
Once the sun went down and the barn cooled off some, the guests floated back in, and 2nd Wind picked up the energy even more. They really read the crowd, and started providing the right amount of interaction to get them on the dance floor. Halfway through the evening, most of the remaining guests wouldn't leave the dance floor! For their final set, the band was asked to switch it up some to some more "modern" music that the younger guests would want to dance to. They switched it up and had everyone dancing and singing all the way until the last song.
We got nothing but compliments about the band after the wedding. The one thing that every guest asked us was, "where did you find that band? They were incredible!" The venue hostess (who sees a wedding or other event at the barn almost every weekend) told us that it was one of the best receptions she had ever seen, and that she had never had a band that good play the venue.
2nd Wind was a great band for a great price. I would hire them again without hesitation, and would recommend them to anyone looking for classy band that can play some up-beat tunes from a wide variety of genres (jazz, rock, R&B, country, motown, and even a little rap!).
Final note - I asked the band to learn a country song that has a lot of meaning to my wife and I. It's a little known song by a small band, and all I did was send them the mp3. They not only agreed to learn it, but they knocked it out of the park when they played it. My wife loved it and it was a great surprise to give her during the reception.
Hire these guys - they are great!
