She helped us plan our wedding at The Haven at Tomales in May, and we were in conversation with her from June 2025 all the way through our wedding day. She kept us focused on the things that needed our attention at each stage, provided a steady stream of action items, and made sure we were always making progress toward bringing our wedding dreams to life. We could explore their websites, have conversations with them, and make informed decisions before committing. Thanks to her thoughtful approach, we were able to bring everything together while staying right on budget. On the wedding day itself, Nichole was an absolute lifesaver. She served as the central point of contact for our vendors and ensured everything ran smoothly, even when we encountered two unexpected challenges. One of our bartenders was intoxicated, and Nichole handled the situation professionally and decisively, ensuring the bartender was removed before the poor service could continue to affect our guests. Later, when the barn turned out to be colder than expected, she came up with a solution so our guests could stay warm and comfortably enjoy the rest of the evening. These were not small issues, and having someone we trusted take charge of them allowed us to focus on celebrating with our family and friends. All in all, we felt like we were in great hands with Nichole from start to finish. We wholeheartedly recommend her full-service planning package, including day-of coordination, to any couple planning their wedding. It is money well spent! Two weeks before my son and his fiancée’s wedding, their day-of coordinator unexpectedly backed out. I was frantically contacting vendors, trying to find someone who could step in on such short notice. Nichole Simpson, the owner of 2 Friends Events, responded almost immediately and quickly arranged a consultation. Within four days, we had an experienced coordinator assigned—and what a blessing that turned out to be. Rachel Roddewig and her assistant were absolutely AMAZING. Rachel met with us twice—first for an hour and then for another two and a half hours. She developed a detailed schedule and timeline and came prepared with thoughtful questions to ensure that every detail had been addressed. During the week leading up to the wedding, Rachel contacted every vendor to confirm logistics, schedules, and responsibilities. She also directed the staff I had hired for setup, bussing, breakdown, and cleanup. She attended the rehearsal, arrived early to walk the grounds and familiarize herself with the venue, coordinated everyone for the ceremony, and took care of every detail throughout the reception. If there were any hiccups, I knew nothing about them until after the wedding and reception were over. Rachel handled everything calmly and worked seamlessly with the vendors to ensure the day went perfectly. I truly believe the wedding was as perfect as it was because of Rachel’s extraordinary organization, attention to detail, and logistical expertise. I am incredibly grateful to Nichole, Rachel, and 2 Friends Events for stepping in when we needed them most and helping make this very special day absolutely wonderful.
